One of the favorites here in the Netherlands is a salami that is slowly cooked by smoke at a specific temperature for one year or so. Of course the ticket number dispenser is right at the door as soon as you come in. Doh. The staff is friendly and helpful and can even decipher my kind of okay spoken Dutch. I suppose they're happy I'm at least trying. Actually it's so good that they respond in Dutch leaving me wide eyed and confused not knowing what it is they said. The prices are okay, not low not high. The meat fresh and ample. After much research I've determined the difference in cuts of meat here in Holland. The beef is leaner and has less marbling. It makes me wonder if marbled meat is available here in Holland.
