One of the favorites here in the Netherlands is a salami that is slowly cooked by smoke at a specific temperature for one year or so. It has a raw appearance, however the meat is fully cooked by smoke and the process they are using. All sausages or salami are served with mustard the condiment of choice in the Netherlands.

It makes me wonder if marbled meat is available here in Holland. We love the Beethoven Straat location, cause you can take your order with you to the coffee place next door and eat your meal right there with a great cup of coffee. But back to the place it self it is a butcher shop where you can get fresh cuts of meat, sausages or everything else you want to crave. It is like a very fresh deli. But they also have a DIY sandwich part. And they offer unbelievable delicious thing to put on you baguette (roll). We always recommend "filet American" for the meat lovers. With green onion, there homemade pesto mayo and real onion it is one of the best breakfast items you can wish for. For vegetarians they have a small selection of cheese and some salads all fresh and without any stuff that shouldn't be in there. Sometimes it is hard to communicate with them, cause the worker there are not speaking very much English but we always find a way with German / English or just pointing. They are always Dutch people which means so friendly and willing to help! You have to try this place and you will never see any American sandwich place with the same eyes! Trust me!
