One of the things that I love the most about living in Amsterdam, I get to shop at countless different markets, it's a culinary heaven. Whether it's an ethnic market, super market, biological market or street market. For me, I consider it one of the best places for shopping for herbs, seasonings, fresh produce,meat and other goods. One can indulge in their culinary skills right here. I stroll up in this Turkish market from time to time when I am dropping off my unwanted items at the consignment shop next door. The customer service here is good, which makes me even more open to coming back again, that is when I am on the block of Van Woustraat.
It's so nice when you have the option to shop between several different supermarkets, street markets,Turkish, Moroccan or any other ethnic market in Amsterdam. I use to feel frustrated shopping in Amsterdam, until I open my eyes a little wider and realize that I actually had plenty of places to shop when it came to finding plenty of herbs,seasonings produce and creating wonderful meals. I no longer miss the big supermarket chains in the United States, where you are overwhelmed with 70 percent of processed foods in the store. read more
