Desperate for relief from the extreme pain in my shoulder, neck and scapula, the referral to Pacific Physical Therapy, by the fantastic Orthopedic physician Dr. Patrick Padilla (same location), was exactly what I needed! Diagnosis was quick, and treatment immediate. I needed HELP, and the AWESOME team of Melissa and Evan, at Pacific Physical Therapy, provided the information and assistance needed, to get me on the road to recovery. I understand it will take hard work and commitment on MY part, if my issues are to continue improving, and I will follow their instructions to a tee! My pain was reduced with Ibuprofen (from Dr. Padilla), and I was able to receive some healing therapy and excellent instruction regarding strengthening exercises, from Melissa and Evan. Melissa and Evan make an outstanding therapy team, at Pacific Physical Therapy! While teaching me how to care for myself, you both made me feel so much better... And your humor helped take the edge off of being in pain. I would also like to thank Gay Lee (sp?), Melissa's substitute Therapist, for her terrific work, on my initial visit. You are ALL outstanding and very caring, which helps tremendously with improving a patient's state of mind, leading to quicker recovery. The Front Desk and support staff at both Dr. Padilla's Office and Pacific Physical Therapy are exemplary! They are ALL efficient, caring and friendly! Thank you, Pacific Physical Therapy, for all your help and for making recovery FUN! This may sound crazy, but please consider including Pet Therapy, as part of your program?! If you had a non-shed, trained Therapy dog on site, to help patient's focus on something other than their pain, it could be quite beneficial. As a Volunteer at Kaiser Permanente, and the Humane Society, in Santa Clara, CA, I made this same recommendation (complete with written procedures), to which they responded with ACTION... Kaiser now has a thriving Pet Therapy Program, which absolutely aides in expedited patient recovery!

His introductory rate is unbeatable, and he clearly explains pricing for future services during your first visit--super transparent. I originally came in for chronic foot pain that no amount of massage therapy, acupuncture, or other treatments had been able to fix. Within 30 minutes, my foot felt like new! He walked me through targeted exercises to do at home, gave a brief but effective massage to relieve tension, checked my posture, and provided a thorough, thoughtful consultation. On top of that, he was able to address a completely separate issue--my lower back pain--on the spot. I drive for a living, so it's a recurring problem. Once again, he did a detailed assessment, followed with light massage and practical advice to help improve and maintain posture. I'm genuinely looking forward to continuing treatment here. Dr. Mortimer is knowledgeable, attentive, and clearly passionate about what he does. Highly recommend giving him a try--you won't be disappointed!

I have been fortunate enough to discover upper cervical care over 10 years ago (there were only 2…read moreBlair practitioners I was aware of in San Diego County at the time). I've been a loyal patient of my original chiropractor ever since, and he changed my life after years of chronic neck/back pain from 2007 to 2016. What started as multiple visits per week eventually became as-needed, maybe 2 to 8 times a year. That's how well it worked. This past November (2025), that familiar pain came back. After numerous visits over three months with my regular doctor, more than I've had in the past three years combined, nothing was holding. One Saturday I was desperate and he wasn't available, so for the first time in nearly a decade I searched for another Blair specialist. That's how I found Dr. Park. She found that both my atlas and axis were misaligned on both sides. My first adjustment gave me the best relief I'd had in months. On a later visit when the upper cervical adjustment alone wasn't giving me the instant relief I usually feel, she had me come back the next morning to reassess. That's when she worked through the compensations throughout my spine. As she did, the pain actually intensified, but she stayed with it. After addressing the compensations, she rechecked and adjusted my C2 again, and all the pain just disappeared. I turned my head in all directions, up, left, right, and felt nothing. I got emotional. I'm not here to compare doctors. I'm sharing my story in hopes that someone dealing with any type of chronic pain or condition discovers this technique and gets to feel as normal as they can again. Fortunately, both doctors are open on mostly different days, so I plan on seeing them both as needed. Dr. Park is a true Blair technique specialist, she's thorough, compassionate, and persistent. I can't recommend her enough. I've attached X-rays pre upper cervical (2016) to 2026. Still a military neck but going in the right direction.

When I look back at the first day I spoke to Joe, I was all over the place mentally, just chaotic! I had been meditating and trying to go within but really needed assistance. I struggled with anxiety, confidence, handling emotions and just dealing with life. Joe is such a kind and loving soul and I never felt judged but rather safe and understood. He offered a space where I could truly express myself and not feel insecure in doing so. I discussed some of my deepest fears and emotions that I had held onto for many, many years and didn't even realize it. Now that I've completed the 13 weeks, I have grown more than I could've imagined. I learned how to breathe (correctly), how to immediately calm my nervous system, to be more self aware, to believe in myself (confidence), to go deeper in my mediations, I have more patience and I'm continuing to focus on my heart chakra and love. This type of work is a team effort and if you are willing to put in the work, Joe is an amazing spiritual guide/teacher that will light the way for you to grow and support you on your journey.
