Our inspectors can climb any attic and are especially careful with the construction materials in the attics, I assume you had crawled the attic prior, of course not! It is our job to educate the buyer - The house speaks for itself, Its easy to blame the inspector, I can tell you that if we miss something or make a mistake we stand behind it, for some reason i have never heard of this matter? My gut feeling is your unhappy seller that had to fix a problem or a unhappy listing agent? Sorry you are unhappy that we educated a buyer on defects of a house, but that is our job. The house speaks for itself, we just document it! We had our condo and wind mitigation inspection done by AJ and an assistant (sorry didn't get his name). It was quite thorough and gave us what we needed. There were some minor issues with the condo, but nothing that needed to be fixed prior to closing so we were good to go. I cannot stress enough that the home buyer should be here for the inspection if possible. This would avoid any confusion after the fact of what needs to be fixed, etc. (or not). We were able to discuss anything AJ pointed out right then and there. After we received the reports, I worked with Harry to try and get proof of impact ratings on the windows and doors. This was a lengthy process for both of us, but Harry went above and beyond to help me obtain this info or point me in the right direction. I appreciate them all and will call them again in the future if needed. Again, try and be there for your inspection. It makes a big difference. I've also spoke to Martin, but only on the phone or by e-mail. He has always been very friendly and courteous as well. read more

This is the second time we have used slab to shingles our first time was over 10 years ago, Slab to Shingles just completed the inspection on our new home and found heavy IRMA damage to the roof, The owner AJ stood by the findings and even the agents questioned him and drilled him. After three roofing companies came out and found almost the same findings the seller has submitted a claim to his insurance, It appears we will be able to work this all out and close, The report was concise and accurate and you have made our day by catching the roof. I was really glad about the way Slab 2 Shingles conducted their inspection of my new home in this new "normal" time. They have put in extra safety protocols like all their equipment and trucks are fogged and ozoned daily, Everyone in their organization has a daily temperature check. The inspectors followed safe distance CDC guidelines and wore masks, gloves and even sprayed down all my door handles and switches during the inspection.
