There were items included in the report that were unnecessary (e.g. pictures of the closets) and repairs that were suggested that were not required. Through the real estate agent for the buyer, I requested that the inspector discuss the report with the potential buyer but this was not provided. Purchase a home warranty insurance policy and avoid a home inspection service.

Carl's company, Homewatch Services etc, has been doing our homewatch since 2016. Until 2024, we…read morenever had a problem. BUT...When we entered our condo on October 6, 2024, we IMMEDIATELY knew there was an issue because the smell of mold was overwhelming. As we walked further into our condo we could see our area rugs were covered with mold and the engineered hardwood floor was all discolored. In the kitchen, pieces of particle board from the cabinets was scattered throughout the kitchen and breakfast room and the bottoms of the cabinets were split. We immediately called Carl and he said with the forecast of Milton he had to get to other residence to prepare them for the storm. We explained our situation and agreed he could come over later after he attended to the other properties. It was over a week before Carl came to our condo to see our damage. His response...his inspection guy was new and he didn't really know the condition of our condo. Kind of hard to accept that excuse as he had been in our condo 12 other times...the first one being 2 weeks after we left and the condo was not in that condition then. Carl claimed no responsibility for the damage and he said he told his inspector that he lost him a client. Wow...one client was lost and we were left with a restoration bill of $75,000. I would NEVER recommend this company...Carl is all talk but runs the other way when there is a problem.
