Patty offered great design input, while the Lakewood team efficiently installed the fireplace and even set the stone fireplace surround. The 6000CLX is a huge upgrade from our previous fireplace. We now have a truly all-season gas fireplace with a lot of flexibility. During the winter, the higher flame settings and built-in fan add a lot of needed warmth to the downstairs. In the spring and fall mornings and evenings, the lower flame settings add a warm ambiance. On summer evenings, the electric embers feature adds an nice accent without the heat. We ended up getting them hooked up ourselves, and when my husband called the lady answered the phone and said "what do you want". I called today to have someone come out because we are not getting hot water to our home and was yelled at, told to shut up, and then hung up on. Again, DO NOT USE THEM. You will not get your money worth and will deal with terrible people.

From start to finish, Anatolie, the owner of the company and the general contractor, was highly positive and responsive! He is an excellent listener, and he takes no shortcuts. He came up with a solution for our granite slab backsplash so that it would not be thicker than the window casings. After having two other quotes, he was the only one who solved this problem by installing onto the studs. The stonemason designed the placement of the slabs beautifully, meeting my expectations without requiring an extra slab. The crews that he works with are excellent and efficient, and the entire thing was done in three days! Day one they demoed the backsplashes, done meticulously by Anatolie himself, and day two the crew came in to demo the countertops, install the new quartz slab backsplash and countertops, new sink, move and remove some of the electrical outlets and install the new pendant lights. Day three the electrician installed the new electrical plates and the plumber hooked up the new sink and reconnected the dishwasher, garbage disposal and hot water and soap dispensers. Anatolie inspected everything on day four. He is very responsive from start to finish: he came to quote within hours of my call, and he stayed in touch throughout. His price was very fair and we saved about $10,000.00 from our original quote with a large wholesaler while at the same time getting more! He also has a good sense of design, and he is fun to work with. He stands by all of the subcontracted work, and he meets his deadlines. He worked our job in within six weeks and made sure that all was done before a family reunion, in spite of delays from the quartz supplier. A+. Don't hesitate to work with these folks, who make what could be a very inconvenient and stressful process actually pleasant!

When this was discussed with Anatolie, he said he would order new tile and then ghosted me. I tried to go through the CCB. He would not work with them. You as the consumer then have to take him to small claims or go through a private attorney. He knows how to work the system until it's not worth your time. Someone did spend the money and won. Check the CCB before considering Oscar Tile/Anotolie.

I waited a few days and then contacted him. "Oh - family emergency, we will start next week." Next week comes by and still no one comes. I wait a few days again and contact him again. "Oh - I injured my foot - next week for sure." I wait for the next week and again no one shows up. I wait a few days and contact him. "Oh - my foot is still injured - but next week for sure." Guess what - he did not show up the next week and then just stopped responding to my texts. I understand that delays come up but why is it my responsibility to have to repeatedly contact him when no one shows up on the scheduled date again and again? If something comes up, LET ME KNOW! And if you don't want to do it, LET ME KNOW! After a month of having my texts ignored, we gave up on him and contracted with the city to do the repair.

They were very careful to confirm everything via email and coordinated gravestone installation with the cemetery (in Portland), and then sent me a photo once installed. It wasn't just that they saved me money, I got the stone and artwork that my mom's cemetery could not offer. It did take a while for the gravestone to be completed, but Edgewood warned me about that in the beginning, so I didn't have to worry. Losing my mom was stressful and I am grateful that Edgewood was so helpful in my time of need, and that they created a marker that I know my mother would have loved!

We had an excellent experience with Lifetime Chimney. We…read morehave a chimney that we never use that needed to have a cap put on. Another company said they would only rebuild the entire fireplace and chimney. We never intend to use the fireplace and just needed to protect it from weather and creatures getting in. (We couldn't afford a complete rebuild in any case.) Lifetime Chimney saved us! They completed some repairing so they could install a cover/ cap, and they pressure washed the chimney. Miguel did an excellent job and was very kind. When I first called in, I spoke with Brian who was incredibly helpful! I was worried when I called in, but Brian explained what they needed to do. He patiently gave me clear information. The chimney looks great and it makes the house look great. We're relieved to have it protected now. I would hire this company again!
