Skal Axe Throwing in Biloxi did an amazing job tonight taking care of our Ocean Springs Assembly Men's Small Group. We had a great time and looking forward to the next time!

Great fun! Emily was really good with instructions and checked in with us to help with technique. I got it even 1 bullseye. Cool & comfortable place with full bar. I will return for sure.

Had a fun hour throwing axe's for the first time. There was five of us in the group and we were in town on vacation. Our host took good care of us talking us through the rules and safety then showed us the different ways to throw an axe. He then spent a few minutes watching us throw and helping correct and errors he saw in our throwing techniques. Overall a fun experience but a little expensive.

If you are in the Biloxi area and wanting to sling some axes on some really good boards with a great stuff especially the assistant manager Steven, look no further this is the place to go!! My husband and I travel all over and have been to countless axbars and this one ranks top five!

I visited Skål Axe throwing with a group from work. We had a 30 minute practice session to practice throwing before playing a fun game. The instructor was very helpful with the instructions. Axe throwing is definitely a stress reliever and there is an art to the technique. I would visit again only based on the axe throwing. However, the food & service portion was not up to par for me. If you're hungry please eat before you arrive. Earlier I mentioned we came with a group. We had reservations so they knew we coming but they ran out of food (That's why I have no pictures of food). My coworkers that did get food complained about not getting their food in a timely manner because there was only one person prepping food. Attempted to go throw some axes. Walked up the male behind the axe counter (about an hour and a half before they closed). Said we wanted to throw some axes, to which he rudely replied: "Oh... guess I'm not leaving here on time tonight...." Told him nevermind and walked out. So this is the first time I have been axe throwing. We had an absolute blast. Our axe throwing couch was Mike I believe. Great guy super funny and very helpful to those of us who were new to the game. The drinks were strong, with a full liquor bar and great beers on tap. They limit your drinks to 2 drinks an hour if you're throwing. But honestly that hour absolutely flew buy. All around great trip will be returning to continue my stellar career as a axe throwing wizard. read more

Great professional staff that provides tutorials for even the most uncoordinated baby giraffe axe thrower. Carry on through the evening and enjoy some drinks provided by the dope Bar staff. Opened in January 2020, Skal Axe Throwing is the Mississippi Gulf Coast's only urban axe throwing venue. We offer a full bar and food service in addition to our incredible axe throwing experience.

We hosted my husband's 50th birthday party here last night, and unfortunately it was one of the…read moreworst event experiences I've ever had. We booked a private event package that included catering, bowling, axe throwing, and soft drinks. From the moment we arrived, it felt like no one was actually managing the event. We spent most of the evening tracking down staff, asking for updates, requesting game repairs, and trying to figure out what was supposed to happen next. One of the first issues involved the food. We were never informed where our buffet was located. I eventually had to ask someone, only to be directed to a buffet set up on the opposite side of the room from our group in a public area, nowhere near where we had been told to gather. I had to request that it be moved. Even after it was relocated, it was still placed far from our group despite there being available space much closer. The food itself was disappointing. The fried pickles were so heavily battered that most of our guests couldn't even tell what they were supposed to be, and much of the appetizer went uneaten. We also ordered a quesadilla trio, but only cheese quesadillas appeared to be served. Looking back at our contract, our package also included soft drinks. At no point were we informed of that, offered any, or told how to access them. The only beverage service we received was after I specifically requested water, at which point a pitcher of warm tap water with a metallic taste was brought to the table. The games were equally frustrating. We experienced equipment issues, service interruptions, and long waits for assistance. When lanes stopped working, we pressed the call button and waited. No one came. We repeatedly had to leave our guests and go find staff ourselves. The biggest issue was communication. We were later told that our axe-throwing time had already started, even though no one had informed us. We were then told our activities needed to be cut short because another group was coming in, despite the venue being largely empty and no replacement group ever appearing. One of our guests also had an unpleasant interaction at the bar after requesting a drink that one bartender didn't know how to make and asked a fellow staff member for assistance with. According to our guest, the second bartender responded with profanity, loudly stating that she didn't give a f*** and was leaving, before grabbing her belongings and walking out. When our guest brought this interaction to management's attention, she was reportedly told to calm down and stop cursing, even though she was simply repeating the language that had been used by the employee. The most disappointing part of the evening was the birthday cake. After requesting it, we waited about 30 minutes before having to track someone down again. When it finally arrived, there was no opportunity to gather guests or sing Happy Birthday. It was immediately cut and served. What should have been a special moment became another frustration. The overall impression left on us and our guests was not simply that the evening was disorganized, but that management was largely indifferent to the problems we were experiencing. Issue after issue was brought forward, yet very little was done to address them in a meaningful way. The evening felt disorganized, chaotic, and poorly managed from start to finish. This experience left us incredibly disappointed. Unfortunately, neither we nor any of our guests have any interest in returning.

It stretches for quite a ways and there are several beach bars/restaurant establishments on Biloxi Beach that you can dine out at. There's also a large souvenir shop called shark heads on Biloxi Beach that was fun to visit. Note, Biloxi Beach is on the Mississippi sound so the water is brown. You may spot Atlantic bottle nose dolphins!

We stopped here to spend a little time on the beach and experience the Gulf of Mexico. Unfortunately for us, there are multiple signs that say they do not allow dogs. We travel with our small dog and we don't like to leave her in our vehicle. My husband stayed with her while I checked the beach out for a bit. I really didn't think it was anything special. The sand here is super fine and you will notice that most people are taking their shoes off and leaving them in the parking lot. It's very difficult to get this sand off of you. There was also a smell, I want to say it was like sewage, but it wasn't that strong, just strong enough to make me not want to stay. Because of that I did not venture into the water. As I said, there is a parking area adjacent to this beach and a paved boardwalk that goes around where people were jogging and walking their dogs. This is definitely a functional beach and there were lots of family and children on the beach when I visited.

In that regard, the beaches in Pass Christian are nicer because you don't have to look at the port, but when you're a little kid who just wants to run and swim and delight in the ocean, the view just doesn't really matter.

Our leadership team had an amazing time today at Skål Axe Throwing in Biloxi! It was such a fun and memorable team-building experience. Most of us had never tried axe throwing before, but we cheered each other on, shared tons of laughs, and celebrated every bullseye (and even the near misses!).
