    We escaped the Clue room!
    Eric G.

So much fun! Everyone should do this at least once in their lives! We booked our room online, the clue room, and arrived 15 minutes beforehand as instructed. Unlike other rooms I've been to, there were several styles of locks set out to practice with. I can tell you that it makes a difference in game enjoyment if you can actually open the locks! Lori, the owner, gave us an overview of game play and some words of wisdom. And off we went! The puzzles range from blatantly obvious to pretty challenging, but not to worry. If the game masters see you struggling they will give you a hint or two to get you back on track. We did pretty darn good and managed to escape with some time to spare and only a few hints! I can't wait to go back and try out the "kidnapped" room where you start the game in handcuffs! This place is truly great for people that have never been to an escape room, the staff is very courteous and encouraging and they aren't like some places that make it a horrible time. Escape rooms are good for most ages and really get those critical thinking skills polished!

This was our first escape room and we had so much fun! The host was amazing and helped us out when she seen we needed alittle push. She was funny and so attentive. We will definitely be back when we stop in at Biloxi! Thank you for an amazing adventure and memory. Sincerely, Bolger eaters

If you want a really cool unique and fun thing to do with the family come here! I had heard of places like this and thought "me'h", it's a year around haunted house- I was totally wrong. This is more Hitchcock than King and it will really test your puzzle solving skills. The homages to Stranger Things is really cool too. The staff and ownership is terrific- you can tell they're into it! Got to do this.

Team We know Jack after finishing the Murder Mystery Office Room

Just finished the Murder Mystery Office with my son and we had a blast. He wanted to book another room imediately and I decided to leave it for another day and hopefully invite some friends. They have three different rooms total at this location in addition to the one above (which is just about to be changed) they are the Insane Asylum and Supernatural. They put up to 10 people in a room, so if your group is smaller you'll be in there with others. It was fun to work the various puzzles with the other two groups that joined us, there were 9 of us total but all of us had something to do and were able to contribute to solving the mystery. You have 60 minutes to solve it. If you need it they will give you a clue if you get stuck via the computer screen in the room. We will definately be back. They've also just opened a satelite location at the Scarlet Pearl Casino, so once we do the other rooms we'll check them out too. Plan to arrive about 15 minutes before, and you'll need to make a reservation for the time you want. If you want to book a room during the week Mon-Wed, the website says you need to make it 3 hrs in advance. The staff there were really friendly and happy to answer questions. They recommend if you bring kids that they probably be 8 and up, they'll let younger kids in but they might get a little bored. The business hours are the times for when the games start. So the last reservation can actually be made at 'closing time'. Check the website.

The storyline was excellent and from start to finish, the building was immersive. Props and decor were top-notch and plentiful. I really appreciate that the clues had difficulty without being too much of a stretch to be realistic or discoverable. There were red herring props to trip you up or waste time. The game master was helpful when needed but he didn't overstep when we were on the cusp of a discovery. This is definitely THE BEST escape room I've ever done! I would highly recommend it and next time I'm in NOLA I'm coming back to do another. Bonus points that the escape room is adjacent to a brewery and we enjoyed some nice pints and live music after.

Seriously SO immersive. Ok so there were 4 of us & we did the Inventor's Attic. GREAT room & pretty challenging even for seasoned Escape Room enthusiasts like us. If I ever find myself visiting NoLa again, I'll definitely want to try one of their other rooms.

We did the paranormal investigation and it definitely was difficult. It was my husband and I and it was our first time doing an escape room alone together. We love a good challenge and love to critically think. This room had unique puzzles we have never seen before. Me being the chicken I am was a little scared, but with that being said it wasn't too awfully scary. If I can do it so can others lol. We escaped with 3 minutes and like 10 seconds to spare. Would definitely recommend, it's an amazing date night idea or a fun family event. We try to visit an escape room everywhere we go and we're impressed with this one. If we ever go back to Alabama, we will definitely visit again!!

I posted a review for their downtown location a while back, but I'll post one for this location too…read moresince I just went to do the Game Museum room there. Clue Carré is the best option for escape rooms in the New Orleans area! I've done 5 rooms with them and each one was SO much fun!!! It's a bit cheaper than other companies, they have many room options, the employees are always friendly and helpful, plus your game is private. The rooms are about $35 per person, so it's less expensive than other companies. They have 8 rooms across their different locations. I've enjoyed 5 of them so far and each one was cleverly and fantastically set-up, staffed with friendly employees. The great thing about this company is that each room is a private experience. If you book the room during one of the time slots for any number of players (even just yourself), the room becomes closed to other people. You can show up and bring more people than you booked for (just pay for extra players when you get there), but no one outside of your party will join you. You don't have to worry about random uncooperative strangers playing the game with you when you get there! I highly recommend Clue Carré! The ambiance, the clues, the mechanisms are always on-theme and on-point. Some of the tasks we've had to accomplish weren't all easy, and we always have to ask for a few hints, but the challenge is part of the fun! There are usually a lot of tasks to accomplish within an hour, so it's meant for more than two people, but we typically get very close to the end with just my boyfriend and I even if we don't finish. Everything is all really well thought out! The only thing about this company that I don't love is that they don't give you a few extra minutes to complete the room even when you're SO close. At another company, they gave us a few extra minutes when they knew we were close, and they gave us a little bit of leniency because they knew we had only 2 people as opposed to their recommended 4-5. These games can be hard to complete with less people because you can't divide and conquer as much. BUT, I think their policy here is to not give time extensions because they rank their room difficulty levels by success rates. (If they gave too many people extensions to complete the games, all of the success rates would become close to 100% and their ranking system wouldn't work.) Plus, they need time to reset the room for the next group too. I LOVE Clue Carré!!! I'm coming back to do the rest of their other rooms!
