Now I been using them for the past 10 years since I've moved back to Queens. Never had any complaints nor problems. I always get them to drive me to MCU the ending of every month so I won't be late for work. After I'm done making a deposit. Now this typical day of Halloween, I call for a cab. I speak to a dispatcher his name is Gary if that's his name. And ask could I have a cab sent to the cross streets between Kissena and Horace Harding at the mobile gas station. My relative got sick and was admitted into Jamaica hospital. No cab now I called back and the dispatcher named Gary proceeds to tell me that the cab was there he left. Now normally when I get a cab I have no problems ever with the cab driver missing me. I've never missed a cab ride due to any complications like this. So I asked the dispatcher Gary what was the cab drivers name he wants to get into a shouting match hangs up. So I recorded the whole thing. Some people just don't need to work with the general public if they have an anger management problem. If he continues getting loud and overly hostile and aggressive with people in the near future he won't get far. His attitude and behavior is distasteful and rude. He seems pretty young and ignorant and I've never heard when a customer ask for a cab drivers name and information. Anyone telling you that you don't need that. read more

The common theme amongst the reviews which I will wholeheartedly parrot are as follows: Rude, short, and incompetent dispatchers who fabricate stories to hide their incompetence. The company can't pick you up at the time they say and it's always "just 10 more minutes" or "just 20 more minutes" when it's really and hour. The drivers need to retake their license exams and prove competency (there is obviously no driver training or standards they must meet). It's downright scary how they drive and I wouldn't trust them to drive any of my family members or my neighbors dog. American Airlines shouldn't use this service anymore. It's low-bid, second rate, and overall a frustrating experience. Thankfully one of the drivers was halfway decent and said, "Even though you made the reservation for the pick up in the morning, call us because there are often problems." He was right. We called twice and a woman yelled at us for asking questions about the prepaid ride from the airport the morning of 12/7/21. When we called for the car with plenty of others, They didn't ask a voucher, ticket, person name or anything needed and didn't give us a license plate, type of car or driver name to look for. We called and asked to let us know so we had the right car and nothing but terrible customer service with screaming repeating where to find the car. Only at the end did they tel us to look for a car with the company name. The car that came to get the didn't have the customer name written as described anywhere. They allowed a 5 year old to sit in her moms lap for a 45 minute drive after waiting for over an hour. Dispatcher was so rude. I had my dad at JFK with his flight cancelled, no local line nor good english, I called them to see if they could explain how to schedule all at once his car to and from the hotel back to the airport, so we would save the headache of having to call at 4 a.m. I think you know how this story ends, if Sandy picks up the phone, it doesn't matter how polite you are, or even if you are trying to finish your question, they'll stop you, treat you like you are being the worst client and if you are persistent, they'll hang up on you. Worst experience I have ever had on the highway. The driver was driving straddling his lane and the lane to his right. The cars to the right were whizzing by honking their horns. Twice there were experiences where I was literally screaming. At one point, my son shouted, "stop the car and let us out". The driver totally ignored us. When he did stop to let two gentleman out at their location, one of the gentlemen said, "don't you want to get out here" which we did. Had to get an Uber to the tune of $150.00. Tried Skyway after a good experience just hailing one of their a Green taxi in Queens. Figured I'd throw a smaller business some money instead of supporting Uber/Lyft by calling them to my apartment. Wrong move. The dispatcher was rude, never called me to let me know the taxi was outside (despite him saying he would) and never told me the price. When I found out the price was almost double what Uber charges, the driver was courteous and offered to reduce the price to something more reasonable. I offered to just leave the car and find my own way, but he insisted. What he didn't tell me is that pick-ups are a cash-only business. When we arrived at my destination, he started berating me when I tried to pay with credit. Sandy the dispatcher provides horrible service, rude, lied and hung up on me twice. Pedro the driver lost or stole my luggage and is not responsive. Used this car service because my American Airlines flight was cancelled. Driver dropped off my bag at the wrong hotel, when we got to my correct hotel he lied and said I did not have a bag, I described my bag to him (its unique and colorful) and then he remembered that he dropped it off at the wrong hotel. I have placed calls to American Airlines and Skyway car service. skyway promised me they would contact the driver and call me back within 15 minutes then never called me. I called them back several times spoke with Sandy, she hung up on me twice when I asked for information, promised me the driver, Pedro, would call me but he never did either. Avoid if you can. I was stuck in New York for a layover and needed a ride to the airport the next morning. Fortunately, my airline gave me a voucher for Skyway, win! I called the night before to tell them what time to pick me up. The lady hung up before confirming so I called back assuming we got disconnected. She seemed annoyed and confirmed. In the morning, I went outside my hotel 5 minutes early to wait for my ride. 10 minutes went by so I decided to call just to make sure they were on their way. They apologized and said "there's heavy traffic, they are 10 minutes away". I said, "no problem", and continued waiting. Thank god I gave myself extra time to get to the airport. 20 more minutes went by. By then, they were 25 minutes late. I began calling and they would pick up the phone and then hang up before answering. I was starting to worry. Should I just call an uber and pay the $100 to get to the airport? After about 10 calls, they answered and I told them I was concerned because my driver still wasn't there. The guy began yelling at me, saying "do you think it's my fault that there is traffic? I can't control if there is an accident, the driver will be there in 10 minutes, etc. etc." I couldn't believe how I was being treated over the phone. I was only trying to get to JFK to catch my flight that was delayed for 14 hours. Fortunately, the hotel manager saw me outside looking worried and asked me if I was looking for a ride and offered me a shuttle. He told me this isn't the first time this has happened. Wow. I didn't think there would have been so many negative reviews, since I had positive experiences with them until a month ago. I had an early morning flight. Called the day before to reserve for 5am. The car didn't show. I called 591-7000. Turns out that number is for a separate car service so they didn't have my reservation. Checked my coupon - then called 359-5959. The woman (Sandy) said she didn't have my reservation either, then yelled at me for calling the wrong number, claiming I never called at all to reserve the day before, and that they had no drivers to pick me up. I wanted to cry. Eventually she got Patrick to pick me up 20 minutes later, but he pulled up down the block and almost left because I was at my door and he claimed he didn't see me. UPDATE - the day dispatcher called me for something else, and when I gave my complaint, he said he wasn't going to do anything but apologize, he wasn't going to discipline Sandy or do anything to make up to me (give the customer a discount for good customer relations? Nope.). I said I don't know if I will ever use them again - he told me to "get over it". I've used them for decades, but next time I'm calling Uber or Lyft. read more

If I could rate zero star I would. We were given a voucher by American Airlines to take this company for transport from La Guardia Airport to JFK due to a flight change. The dispatcher was mean. I was promised an ETA of 30 min from the time I made the call. We only have about an hour & a half to get to JFK to catch the flight. There was still no car after 30 min so I called back and the dispatcher couldn't even confirm if a car was sent. When I called for the third time (I was getting jittery as time was getting close to our flight), he screamed at me--literally screaming on the phone, stating that I've been called by their driver 3 times & that I was not responding. We were standing at the pick up zone the whole time. True, I had 1 missed call, to which I responded right away. However, I got a recording and there was no message left. I couldn't believe the temperament of the dispatcher. He makes me feel like if he was in front of me, he'd probably choke me. This is a very unprofessional and angry man. Awful experience. I was assaulted as i sat in their vehicle at JFK at night. The driver left the window open which allowed a random person to yell and spit in my face. When I called to report the incident to their customer support i was told it was not their responsibility to keep me safe. The woman on the phone shared their driver noticed w random man pacing the terminal before my pick up (yet the window was left open and door was unlocked) and it was not their problem what occurred. Maybe I was just lucky, but I had no issue with these guys. I called the evening prior, for a 5:15am pickup. They read back the address and time, and confirmed that I could be reach at the number I was calling from. At 5:00am, I received a call to confirm readiness, and that the driver should be arriving within 10 minutes (and he was). The driver was friendly and helped put my bag in the car. Used Skyway this past week. Arrived 45 minutes late. Had to call them 3 times. When finally arrived it was a large white SUV that looked like it hadn't been to a car wash for quite a while. Inside messy, crumbs on the passenger seats. Very difficult to get into. Rear seats had to be cleaned off for passenger to sit down. We had guests from out of state and were really embarrassed. Skyway in Flushing/Fresh Meadows is GREAT!! This review was for the Skyway on Springfield Blvd Skyway. Skyway has changed... For the worse. The drivers are very nice BUT the cars have a foul odor, the prices to the same location are never the same, and the male dispatcher is beyond rude. The cars repeatedly arrive at an old location associated with a phone number that I call from and I've repeatedly had to run down the block to wave down the cars. In the last 2 years I have referred multiple friends to Skyway... Every friend complained. The cars took more than 30 minutes to arrive at the airport, the driver overcharged, and they felt that the overall experience was poor. Called Skyway yesterday evening, the girl I spoke to before was not there. Instead I spoke to the owner Vicky who was a tad bit uncourteous. But I get it, sometimes people have bad days. Asked for a car to pick me up this morning. Not only was it late a van came instead. Driver was funny made me laugh, said he was also an owner. (Maybe Vicky's husband) It wasnt until I made it to the airport he told me the fare was $30. WTF!
