However, the process of obtaining a quote was indeed as easy as Zen Windows website makes it out to be; check out their website and watch the videos. I completed their form with the number of windows, approximate size and the requirement that the windows must meet a minimum efficiency. A reply was quick and thorough and above all easily understood and answers to questions were immediate. Dennis provided all the information needed should a permit have been required. Once accepted, Kevin came out within a few days to take specific measurements needed for ordering the windows. Within just over a month, we received a call asking if the installation could take place within 48 hours as they had an opening. Ed, Jimmy and Daryl were the installation crew who arrived promptly and you could not ask for a more conscientious and professional team. They seemed to get along and worked well with each other. Care was taken to protect floors and carpet, the installation and operation of the windows was explained, and clean up was meticulous. I had planned to shampoo my carpets after they were finished and Daryl did such a good job of cleaning up the floors I did not have to vacuum first! We had 6 windows replaced and opted for the Endure EN600 series double hung, Energy Star Certified windows. These windows were installed on a warm day in rooms that get the afternoon sun and it was immediately apparent that the sun gain was much lower than the previous windows. The wind is gusting today and there are no drafts! The total cost was a bit above some of the other estimates but after our previous experiences as well as the ease of the ordering process, the personable and professional installers- much less the quality of the windows- it has been well worth it.

All were installed incredibly well, by a great team... and are doors Made in USA, AND also Made in Missouri ! We highly recommend Clear Windows Technology! We also recommend having Clear Window Technology install for you doors from Target Windows & Doors, who are located in Vandalia, Missouri, which is near Mexico and Hannibal. The sliding glass doors are the Elite 4000 sliding glass door, with blinds installed between the panes - the blinds rise and fall by one slider, and tilt open/closed by another slider... on the stationary side and on the sliding door.  Dennis at Clear Window said this was the best door he offered and we agree it is great! The door slides so smoothly; the frame and door and locks are all solid. They even installed a foot lock that lets you prop the door open a few inches, to let in some air, while preventing it from moving until your toe taps to unlock the door. The three patio doors are hinged doors, and were installed with new wooden frames, to replace the original frame that had some wood rot. Clear Window Technology did a great job pre-sales, and for install, and the doors look great - nice and new and sleek and clean! Thank you, Dennis, Tracey!!! Found this business to replace glass in 3 Anderson windows. was told over the phone that it was no…read moreproblem, just send pictures with measurements, pay a deposit, drop off the casings, and come back in 2 hours. After returning the owner stated he was unable to complete the repair due to not having the right sized glass in stock due to miss measurements and proceeded to demand $440 or he would not release the casings. After trying to rationalize with him he became aggressive took my iphone as collateral, got in his vehicle and blocked our vehicle in his parking lot. At this point we just wanted to leave but was forced to stay until calling the police who was able to help us load our casings and leave. We are still waiting to decide if pressing charges is necessary as the StLouis Police have done an excellent job in following up with us stating not only was this a traumatic experience but a crime.

The other gave quotes without doing any measurements. Clearview owner Marc made measurements and the a day later, sent in his window team to make exact measurements. I had all the exterior of my 1991 ranch completely redone. Upgraded polymer interlocking insulated vinyl siding with a moisture barrier wrap Tyvek underneath the siding. Brand new top grade soffet installed with new maintenance gutters. Also had them install an upgraded new front door. Huge difference with outside noise and temperature reduction.. Project was completed on time and on budget. Marc either called or showed up on the job site everyday. I have never dealt with a contractor professional of this caliber. Clearview should be your ONLY choice for sidings and windows in the St. Louis are. Thanks Marc!!
