Sadly I've been told the DuPont location is the only location that gets updated equipment but also is overcrowded. Really nice staff. Love what they stand for and appreciate their support for first responders but at what point do I sacrifice a bad gym experience for their beliefs $40 for a two week guest pass is ridiculous

Eventually, I dropped the YMCA and now this is my main workout place. The workouts are structured so there is floor/weights, treadmill and rolling machine. This is done all I in one hour. The instructor guides and illustrates each exercise and monitors the class. If you need assistance or are doing it wrong they assist you personally without any judgement. The downfall is it is very expensive. If I hadn't locked into the Introductory prIce I probably would not even think of trying it. The long term benefits are worth it.

Sat down with Brad had a chat and decided to take the plunge. Best decision I have made in a very very long time. Tori has been amazing to work with. Tori has been on top of my nutrition and fitness and helping me understand how to manage that in an amazing way, she has always provided me with actionable items I can work on and guided me on how to manage my meals and relationship with food along with kicking my ass at the gym. Seriously though she has helped me tremendously on how to lift and work out effectively and correctly. She pushes me to always give my best and is a constant motivator. I could talk and talk and talk about all the amazing things this Gym is doing, but I'll end with a short personal journey: Before velocity my A1C (this determines if you are diabetic) was all over the place and was only in control due to meds like insulin, and when I worked out or played sports I would eventually injure myself due to bad form or doing things the incorrect way. After 12 weeks at Velocity - my blood sugar is the best shape it has been in a very long time (completely of insulin now), and I am having the best time working out I have ever had.
