Several children needed to use the bathroom and the young lady that works at the ranch had no idea where to find toilet paper. The course is in good shape, with a nice layout. There are challenges plenty to tackle, although the course is relatively flat due to the local terrain. If you are not affiliated with the US Military, (active, reserve, guard, retired, or civilian employee) you probably can't get on to play unless you come along with someone who is.

The man next to me had ordered the pulled BBQ meat sandwich and I could see a huge chunk of meat that looked dried and day(s)-old however I could not confirm it was. The treed grounds in back visible from the dining area was gorgeous and wish it wasn't raining so I could walk about and snap pixs of the gorgeous trees. Rude staff!!!!!! Skip this place unless you enjoy being insulted at the door…read more I had read reviews about the rude man at the entrance, and unfortunately, our visit confirmed them. When we arrived, my husband explained we were a family of five, including our baby who is 9 months old. Instead of simply charging the admission, the man looked at my daughter and said, "Wow, she looks big for 9 months." This was not an innocent observation--it was a shady, backhanded way of suggesting we were lying about her age so he could charge us. For the record, my daughter is absolutely 9 months old--small for her age, no teeth, not walking, sitting in a stroller with a pacifier. His comment was unnecessary, insulting, and immediately set a negative tone. If the policy is that everyone pays--even infants--then state that clearly. Don't make rude remarks about a child's appearance or insinuate dishonesty. I even offered to pay the $6, but instead of being straightforward, he backtracked. For a place that depends on families visiting, this kind of treatment is unacceptable. If you choose to come here, be prepared for a rude encounter before you even get inside. We won't be returning, and I would not recommend this "zoo" to anyone who values basic respect. To the owner: your mouth is bad for your business, friend.

The fields are always taken, though, by leagues. It would be nice if there was a track here and an outdoor basketball court. There's a recreation center in this area that is free to residents of Dover, and $3 for non-residents. They have schedules online on when they have open gym for basketball and volleyball for youth and adult. It's never packed and the front desk receptionists won't let you deviate out of their schedule even if the gym is ghost empty. Definitely should allow for more flexibility because the schedules really suck.
