We reached out to the dealer and they wanted over $250 for the part I just bought for $20. That was before charging to install! My dad reached out to South Side. He was emailed a detailed quote explaining the steps with a cost breakdown but told this was a maximum. He dropped off the car at the scheduled time. Within two hours it was ready for pickup. The invoice showed that he was not charged for some of the steps. On the way home a warning light came on so he took it back. The problem was immediately recognized and resolved. Communication was great. Their estimate was detailed and indicated a worst-case scenario. They were honest about what was actually done and the final cost was reduced accordingly. The work was done professionally and they immediately handled an issue when it arose. This experience was better than we could have expected.

When I explained to Hailey that I was not informed this at the time of booking she informed me, "I see you accepted the calendar invite which clearly states this" Keep in mind the calendar invite was sent AFTER I was charged. So nice of them to inform me after they charge me that the fee is non-refundable. When I explained this to her she told me that when she was hired that her boss made it clear that booking fees are so they do not lose money, I could easily understand this if I was cancelling without enough notice for them to schedule another appointment or if this was made clear before they decided to charge me. Needless to say I am out $100, so be advised when booking anything here.

Upon…read moreentering the wash, they had a difficult time with the conveyor belt and mentioned it wasn't working properly and had to shut down the process to "fix" it. Once in the wash, the machine cracked our windshield - there was zero damage prior. Upon exiting, we stopped and showed the employees the damage. They had us submit a claim form and said they'd get back to us. Fast forward, they sent an email stating they weren't liable and went into a diatribe about how this is how "tempered glass works" (Windshields aren't made of tempered glass, they are laminated glass). When I pushed back and told them I expected them to fix it or pay our deductible they refused.I contacted my insurance company and they said that the deductible is $250 and it could potentially raise our insurance rates if I file a claim. They refuse to take responsibility. I have contacted the Attorney General, the Better Business Bureau, and will make sure to tell everyone to NEVER EVER TAKE THEIR VEHICLE TO ECLIPSE CAR WASH OR ANY OTHER CAR WASH THEY OWN (they own many). Buyer beware - this is NOT how you do business.
