It's Cincinnati. If you're an out-of-towner you have to have Skyline chili. Right? Cincinnati chili must be tried: No description can adequately capture its unique flavor. This was my first taste. Though I didn't dislike it, I'm not sure the Mediterranean-spiced flavor taste appealed either. However, sampling the chili was challenging as the signature mound of cheddar cheese made it difficult to taste anything but cheese. In the COVID era Skyline operates pretty much like it did pre-COVID. Menus are delivered; masked servers take your order; and, food is served on reusable plates and utensils. The diner addresses COVID-19 by separating each table or booth with a plexiglass shield. That also keeps all tables available so for a mid-week, afternoon meal Skyline was nearly full. read more

This is consistently the worst Skyline I've been to. We live in Harrison, so we'd love to support our local location, but the service is always disappointing. It typically takes 10-15 minutes before anyone even takes our order, they usually forget something, and most of the staff seem to be on their phones or standing by the carryout window. The employees are generally unfriendly, and the hot dogs are often undercooked. If you're willing to drive a little farther, the Montfort Heights location is great and provides a much better experience. Update: my two year old got sick shortly after getting home due to the undercooked hot dogs. Very disappointing experience. I can't recommend spending your money at this location. read more

We were told we must try Skyline while in Cincinnati, and we almost missed it! Luckily, we found this one on our way out of town and took the time to stop for lunch. It was very clean, cute and comfortable. Our servers were so friendly and efficient. We told them it was our first time and they had great suggestions. My husband ordered two coney dogs and I had a 4-way with onions. Both of us loved our meals. My husband was especially pleased by the amount of delicious cheese piled on top. My only complaint is that my spaghetti was still pretty watery. Not sure if I just happened to get a serving that wasn't strained enough first or if that's how it's usually served. What happened to this location? Buffalo Chicken Wrap was terrible. 2 little pieces of chicken in each half with no Buffalo sauce and no tomatoes. It was just sad looking. My cheese coneys had no flavor in the chili like it had been watered down. The restaurant was a mess with dirty tables and dirty floors. No reason at all to go back to that location. read more

The tables turn over fast as you have your food in five minutes, but they are good about cleaning up quickly so you normally don't have to wait for a table. Get a bib from your server unless you want a stained shirt for a souvenir. And-- you don't eat a 5-way like spaghetti, by twirling it around your fork. While serving tasty chili on bland pasta and smothering it in a thick layer of cheddar cheese doesn't seem like it should get as much attention as it does, it is quite tasty. I purchased 4 chili burritos and cheese fries. The burritos had only chili sauce no meat or cheese..the fries were soggy and half cooked....It was the worst experience I ever had. I called the main office, the lady said they will give me a coupon. I said no I want my money back of $22.75... First, in case you aren't aware, this is less like chili and more like spaghetti sauce. Second, it's pretty boring. My husband and I both like Cincinnati style chili and grab some anytime we're in the area to see family. This location was quite busy even after lunch time but service was efficient and pleasant. My four way (beans) was really tasty and served with the requisite giant mounds of shredded cheese. I wish Skyline made a "spicy" version of the actual chili but they do have hot sauce. You can also get salads but it's called Skyline CHILI which is what you should order. This might not be the most visually appealing meal but you can't pass through the area without trying it once! read more

Whenever your feeling good and hungry it's skyline time. My family's Sunday ritual is visiting skyline after church. We like to go here because it's kid friendly, fast and consistent. I have tried everything on the menu but my favorite to this day is the deluxe burrito. The customer service is excellent and I have never had issues with parking. LOVE this location. Always greeted when you first walk in the door and the service is so fast! Allison, my server, was so friendly and quick on her feet, highly recommend sitting in her section. My chili cheese fries were amazing and in my opinion is probably the tastiest thing on the menu, but either way the chili is unique and worth a try whether its on spaghetti, fries, or hotdogs. I think a kid named Jackson made my food and he did an excellent job. Keep up the good work! read more

Usually the same order here... Get a four way with onions! I have had their chili cheese dogs but they are smaller in size. Be aware that they use a lot of cheese; if you are calorie conscious, or you don't like cheese, then tell them up front. Also, their chili is not spicy so you can add hot sauce. read more

I stopped here because it was the first Skyline when I crossed in to Ohio. The food was good but the service was dismal and the restaurant absolutely filthy. This place is very busy and it's obvious they do not want your business unless you are a party of 4 or more. Single people and couples ignored while friends and family were treated like royalty. The food was standard Skyline fare; thankfully there are dozens of other Skyline locations that serve the same food and want your business. I'd keep driving to find a better Skyline Chili. read more

I appreciate the crew who was there when I stopped. I planned to drive-through but leaving Brookville late, the drive-thru's were lined up and I continued driving. My fiancé and I have always gotten good service, and whenever Lisa is working, regardless if we are seated in her section, she always goes out of her way to talk to us and ask us how life has been.
