They don't just train your dog- they train you and your dog to be a team. Working with Shannon changed my dog's quality of life immeasurably. I began sessions with Shannon expecting to have a better behaved dog in the end, but what I found is that the bond I have with my dog is so much stronger. I was almost ready to give up on my dog because she didn't seem happy and I felt like I was failing her as an owner. Shannon started by giving me confidence as an owner and trainer of my own dog, and then she showed me how to build my dog's confidence (and give her the stimulation her brilliant border collie brain needs) by training together and engaging in interactive play. The positive change in my dog's attitude and personality are astounding- she is no longer the timid, jumpy, neurotic border collie I adopted 5 years ago. She is confident, playful, and even cuddly! We were in a room that was not comfortable for me & certainly not her. A tech came and took her for prep. Another wait. Then a vet and another tech I assume, came in and PUSHED meds into her IV. She reacted with a terrible shudder. Yes. It was shocking to bother her and me!!! That med should have NEVER been pushed . Meds are not pushed when it's a human patient! And then she died in my arms. NEVER ever have I been through such an experience when other precious lives were helped to cross over the bridge. This is why I do not and will not ever take another of my previous babes to this veterinary hospital. If you are looking for a PEACEFUL transition for your furrbabe, take him or her to another hospital or clinic!.

When going to checkout, there is often no one behind the counter, leaving customers standing there waiting without assistance. I scheduled grooming appointments for both of my dogs a week in advance. I received a call about one of them saying they had to cancel because they overbooked large dogs. This created a major inconvenience for me, and the staff acted as though the situation was somehow my fault rather than taking responsibility for their scheduling error. When I brought my second dog to her confirmed appointment, I was told I shouldn't even be there because they "didn't have room." They initially took her back and placed her on a lead, but shortly after, they brought her back out and refused to groom her, stating she was uncooperative and would not be seen there. The entire situation was handled unprofessionally and without clear communication. Overall, this experience felt disorganized and disrespectful of my time. I will not be returning.
