They are poor at listening to the customer. I had a pedicure and the older lady I had was pretty rough and was pushing too hard on my toes to the point of pain. I kept saying "Ow! That hurts!" I asked her to ease it up because it was painful for me and she said that "it is all right, you are OK, see? There's nothing." She meant I'm not bleeding but it was pretty red. Very sweet and friendly nail tech, she gave me a great pedicure with a very bright pink cat-eye for the summer. It's been about 2 weeks and it's still perfect. She also listened and didn't over-buff my feet when I asked her to stop because certain ticklish spots make me giggle. Cool environment. They do need more cat-eye colors, though. I have been coming here the past year for just eyebrow waxing and they do such a great job, I have never gotten my nails or toes done here, maybe one day I will, I have been going to my same nail salon for the last 5 years, so I am content where I am at. Went on August 8th for a set of acrylics for back to school. The first photo is what I showed the nail tech that I wanted and she stated she could do it. However, the end result the second photo was nothing like what I wanted. The nail tech stated that putting black over red would make the red polish become a deeper red. Had a horrible experience with this place and unfortunately they do not want to take responsibility for what they have done to my nails. My nails are ruined. I got nail fungus and ingrown nails after their technician Trish improperly cut them. I had surgically removed my nail on big toe and still trying to get rid of this nasty fungus they gave me. I asked for their insurance company to submit a claim but they refuse to provide it. I am planning to take them to court. read more

I'm going away on a trip soon so I wanted to get all prettied up, so it was mani/pedi time. I was just a walk in. Not very long to wait. The front is average but there's a Buddah who is cute as can be, and he exemplifies the 2 ladies I've been to in there. And of course WHO ISN'T IN LOVE WITH THOSE CHAIRS? I mean really? Anyways. I digress. The lady doing my toes and mani is one of the sweetest ladies! I asked her if there's anything to thicken up my razor sharp fingernails. I've only ever used acrylics, but she said to try gel. Sounds good, then let's give it a try Well here's the amazing part: she wanted me to try the gel manicure first to see if I like it, and then when I come back, we'll see if I want to go the next step and get a set put on. She wasn't rushing to put a set of anything on me! No pressure, no quick upsell, she was genuinely interested in doing it slow and right. Mic drop. I'm floored by that kind of service that really cares about you and not making a fast buck. Omg. Not enough places do that anymore. I'm stunned. Anyways, you can bet I'll be back. With people that awesome and wonderful to you, you do what you can to support them! So yes, to me they're pricey. But I haven't really got my nails done (even yearly) in a loooonnggg time. But maybe that's now that's average? Super clean, super nice, well decorated, really great staff. Very cautious about the Pedi bowls sanitation. Each one gets individually wrapped (kinda like an inverted shower cap just for the bowl) and it's one per use, per client. Tools are wrapped up in their own blue sanitized bag. I made an appointment, they called to have me come in earlier, got there and sat for over 30 minutes before someone took me. A lady came over and asked me to give her a few minutes more. I sat for another 15+. Then they had me go back with a completely different person and after she began filing one nail, they moved me to another tech. The final tech was sweet but kept sniffling and wiping her nose. I understand that chemicals, allergies, and other factors may make you sniffle, but consider wearing a mask so you don't have to wipe your nose with your hands to prevent nasal drip while working on customers. I needed one nail replaced, so she brought out the nail tips. They were ultra flat with no C-curve. I asked if they were C-curve, she said yes. When she cut the nail to place against mine, I could tell it was not going to work, it was too flat, it wouldn't match my other nails (you'll see in the photos). So she sculpted my ring finger instead. The curve was better but the nail itself was bigger than every other nail aside from my thumb, so it looks awkward compared to the rest. I can file the sides myself, so not an entirely big issue, but as the professionals, they should take pride in their work and be able to spot these things themselves without having to be told. Some nails are not evenly filed and smoothed, and you can see the crooked, wavy apexes. The end product was mid, I'll post photos so you can be your own judge. I usually go to another nail salon but went here in a pinch, may not go again unless I absolutely have to. Staff members are nice and the facility looks clean, that's the upside! Paid $53 including the tip for this fill + gel polish. read more

They expect you to pay for a service and have an issue if you ask for a certain specific as to how you want your nails. Do not let Mimi or the owner do your nails. You will be disappointed. Waste of money & waste of time. Spent over $120 and almost three hours getting my nails and toes done & they look terrible. Lines are crooked & each finger looks different. Looks like I painted them myself. At first, there were noticiable streaks through each nail. The manager said it's because I didn't let them dry for an hour... even though they told me to dry them for 10 minutes. This is their attempt of "fixing them" and they're still crooked and uneven. They only fixed the streaks & cut me off when I tried to explain that the tips were uneven and didn't look good. The only person that truly seemed to care was the front desk receptionist. She did offer to have me come back in to get them fixed before my baby shower but after everyone else was condescending, saying it was my fault & then speaking about me in another language... I don't feel comfortable going back. For my toes: they dried for over 2 hours in the salon & were ruined by the time I got home. read more

CONS: - The cleaning of feet was rushed. - There's still little sock stuffies in between my nails. - Cuticles were barely pushed back for removal. - RUSHED to put on my shoes w/o some time to dry... so of course it smudged. Over priced pedi for the attention to detail of services. There was no foot massage at all... only calf/lower leg massage. Removal of cuticles was poor, as well as cleaning under the nails and tidying up in-grown nails. Polish quality and job was meh. Mani was poor until a second tech took over so the orig. tech could shift to another client. The second tech took over in the middle of cuticle removal (after one hand was done) and did a complete over haul of what the previous tech had done. When it came to polish time, the polish was goopy. After my first hand was complete, the tech offered to remove it and I changed colors. Staff is friendly. Place is clean. Walk-ins are allowed. I'd try another place before returning here. read more

I have been bringing my daughter and son here for a while for our monthly pedicures but we will be finding a new nail salon moving forward. The prices are high and the quality of the service is terrible. This last time, an older man with glasses was doing my daughter's pedicure and cut her several times because he was laughing and joking around with the older lady doing my pedicure next to them. My daughter's pedicure was $91 for a French gel, and when we got home we discovered that two toes were completely smudged. My own polish was lumpy, uneven and pooling at my cuticle. The receptionist had an attitude as well. I don't see this place doing well in the long run with how it is currently being run. I highly recommend finding a different nail salon if you are considering coming to this one. We will never be returning. read more

I would have given it 5 star but this nail tech Bryan was awful. He ask me what i want at first i said just soak off but then i changed my mind to gel manicure so he cut off the fake nails off but he also cut my real nails off, so im like what the fuck. Im trying to grow my real nails just for you to cut it off. I was turning my hands so you can see where my real nails are. Mind you i was getting my pedicure at that time. He laughed every time i show him where my nails have grown longer. So since he cut off my real nails. I just decided to get a full set because im not going to have fucking little girl looking fingers and i hate having short/bald nails, to the core i cannot grab things and it'll just hurt and bother me. Ok next nail tech, Simon he gave me nail education (thankful) for that. [ I've been going to this girl that does only acrylic at her home but it takes her 3 hours to do my nails and lately been color blind.] Anyways, Simon told me i don't have acrylics on. I have dip powder on that is why it took longer for him to take it off. Simon did my nails full set with gel under 2 hours. I got my nails in a longer length so i can grow my nails all over again. He told me when i come back in 2 weeks or so just say fill in and change color. I do not recommend Bryan, he needs to be fired since he has a ton of bad reviews. read more

Hello, I'm not one to leave bad reviews but this has left a terrible taste in my mouth and I will never be returning or sending my friends here. I came here before for my wedding nails and got completely overcharged but I had beautiful work, so I thought I would treat myself to nails for my birthday. Immediately as I sat down I was rushed from the beginning to the very end. I didn't even get to choose my first color! I showed the man my inspiration picture and was told he could do it. Immediately, he put on a base color and was expecting me to walk out. I reminded him nicely if we could do the ombré and was immediately met with an aggressive answer. "You didn't pick a second color!!" I mentioned that I was heavily rushed and didn't have any time to do so. Then he gives me what is pictured below. Blobby, thick and crooked! I didn't intend to leave a review but after being talked down upon in front of the entire salon I am finally deciding to. This is quite long and I never leave negative reviews, but I was with my infant son and essentially got turned away from the service rudely. I made an appointment for a full set with gel & design and a gel pedicure with Rhee , her reviews are amazing and I'm new to the area and LOYAL to a tech when I find one that appreciates art. So I thought I was on the right track! When called for my appointment confirmation the day of, she told me only the full set - which was fine, I wanted to get the pedicure done on a different day anywho - so I confirmed for JUST the full set. I was greeted bluntly by the receptionist, not rude but not welcoming, and waited. She then sees that it was a separate appointment scheduled for the pedicure and I politely say it's okay, I can just do the nails today as I would like to be home by 5 (2.5 hours from arrival) as I have my 5 MONTH OLD with me, but goes behind the wall and talks to someone to only return and ask what kind of nails I'm getting. I thought this was just friendly conversation.. it wasn't. I describe the design and length and she goes back around the wall only for Rhee to come back out and say "sweetie, I don't work with people on a time crunch". It caught me off guard but I simply responded that it's because I need to go home to feed my family.. to which I was returned with "well you already cancelled one service with no notice, and I don't do simple nails like that".... I responded to her that I confirmed in the morning for only the full set AND that I got my reference photos FROM HER, and proceeded to show her, and she said "I don't do things like that anymore, I do the big design Instagram nails that are long" People are looking because a beautiful big salon radiates voices. I then question how I was able to make an appointment with her if "she doesn't do them anymore" and it was never answered, she simply said she would get another tech for me, only to be told NO ONE IN THAT SALON can do 3D flowers but can put a sticker... I understand not everyone can, but this is why I do my research to find the one that Is able! I was feeling brought down and said okay well I'll find another tech at a different salon but still wished to get something done as I hadn't done anything since having my baby.. Cindy - a very sweet lady *5 stars to her - did my gel pedicure, and yet as I'm sitting I overhear the Rhee was leaving and going on vacation for a week.. hmm wonder why I was declined so rudely now for taking up her time when she wanted to leave early anyways..
