Unfortunately, I was supposed to receive a call as promised on three occasions and I ended up calling each time. I took my car to a trusted mechanic in Belmont who actually knows what they're doing they quoted me $200-$400 MAX for the exact same job. That tells you everything you need to know. This is not the first time this place has tried to pull something like this on me. The pricing feels dishonest, the service is terrible, and the workmanship is questionable at best. I have zero trust in this shop. Save yourself the headache, the stress, and the money. STAY FAR AWAY from this place.

While providing a constant beat to drive to (and practice freestyle rapping) is was irritating as hell! I took it to another shop and they told me the tie-rods (?) were bad...had them replaced... WHUMP WHUMP! Went back and had new struts put on... WHUMP WHUMP! DAYUM! Finally something kicked in and I decided to find a local reputable company and I really hit the jackpot with Darrell's. Here's why: 1) I found them online and they had great reviews. We all know the power of a good review from happy customers! 2) After I performed my freestyle rap of what was wrong with the car, the owner Terry said "Okay, let's go drive it." What?!? I didn't realize that the other place never drove my car!! I was thrilled! 3) The diagnosis and suggested repair conversations were amazing! It was like a medical diagnosis from a really compassionate doctor. Even with the unexpected additional service I needed to get my car in tip-top shape, never once did I feel like I was being lied to or taken advantage of. I'm really looking forward to a long vehicular relationship with this garage! Now to go drop this rap album! First single, "Do da Whump, Whump!"

Rented a car and came back to Darrell's at 8am and explained my symptoms. They knew exactly what it was likely to be (a suspension problem). I asked if it could be fixed on Friday so I could drive home. They did! And washed and detailed the car so when I picked it up Friday at 2:30 we could hit the road home confidently. Car handled perfectly. The repair was very reasonable. Great job by everyone at Darrell's. Highly recommended!

After I described the problem, Tim made the…read moresame diagnosis that I'd gotten from two other shops, but his estimate was quite a bit lower. While he was working on the car he found that the original problem was not as bad as was thought, but he also recognized another potentially dangerous problem with a half axel. Since he already had the car disassembled he only charged me for the replacement part, but not for the labor to replace the half axel. I ended up getting the clutch repaired, and getting a new half axel, and the total bill was quite a bit less than the estimate. Tim also pointed out some things that were going to need attention, but could be put off, with care, until I could afford to get them done. I went, back, recently, to take care of one of the issues that Tim had pointed out, and again the work was done quickly, and for a good bit less than the estimate.
