It's about $250 to jump a tandem jump from 13,000 feet but if you book a second jump the same day it is $129 which is basically half off. This was honestly one of the highlights of my life and I wouldn't have changed it for the world. Every single person there was so genuine and kind that I couldn't have felt more safe. They tell you exactly what to do and when to do it. Everyone should skydive.

But after having experiences with 2 other skydiving companies, I can only give this one 2 stars. The reason it's not one star is because the instructor himself did a great job, and of course my son loved the jump. The issue is entirely with how badly this company overbooks. Our son's booked time was 3:00 PM (he did arrive by 3:03pm due to traffic), and he didn't even leave on the van to jump until after 6:00 PM. I'm sure the company will counter that somewhere on their website they say to allow several hours for the experience and that they can't control wait times. But after seeing how efficiently other skydiving companies operate, this was clearly not just an unavoidable delay, it was obvious overbooking. Even people getting on the van between 5-5:30 PM told us their scheduled time had also been 3:00 PM. We had elderly family members who drove a long distance to watch him jump, and they ended up sitting outside in the heat for nearly 4 hours. That's not a minor delay; that's scheduling far more people than can realistically be handled. At the other companies we've used, the process was organized and efficient. You arrive at your scheduled time, complete a brief 10-15 minute safety orientation, get geared up, and within about 45 minutes you're heading up for your dive. It absolutely can be done smoothly when companies don't overbook. The jump itself was great. The management and scheduling were not.

It's a small weekend business and this is not their only means of income, so they aren't out for the money and therefore they don't make reckless calls. If there's any chance of a safety risk, they put you first. Our jump had to be rescheduled due to weather conditions, but they worked with us to get it on the books, and when the day came, they made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. They walked us through the process and answered all of our questions without hesitation. Once cleared, we geared up and up we went! If you purchase the video option, they take snippets along the way to build a video story. Our jump was on a very clear day, so once the chute deployed, they explained the sights as we floated down. We had a clear view of the Charlotte city skyline and we could see parts of Virginia, South Carolina, Georgia, and Tennessee. The freefall from 10,000 feet was quick and before I knew it, my chute was already open. I enjoyed the ride and the landing was cake. It was a wonderful first jump experience and I would not hesitate to do it again.

I have been skydiving 5 times in different states and have had some great experiences. The whole staff was very friendly and did a great job of making everyone feel comfortable but most importantly safe. Our instructors Rob'O and Matt did a fantastic job and were true professionals. Absolutely loved this ballon fest! We only went on Saturday and tickets online were $25 but kids…read moreunder 6 were free! We got there at 7:30am so parking was super easy! Definitely get the parking pass ($15), totally worth it especially if you have a young kiddo like we did. Parking and the event is in a grassy field. We packed water, snacks, blankets and even clothes to change when it warmed up in the afternoon. We planned to stay for the morning balloons and the afternoon balloons so we were prepared. The balloons were so cool. And we were really close. They also did tethered balloon rides and balloon flights for purchase. There were plenty of food stands , drinks areas and vendors. There was also a kids area with shows, bounce houses and hay bails for chilling. They only had porta-potties but never had to wait in line. They also do a night glow and for $2 you could walk inside a balloon getting inflated. This was such a fun family-friendly event with great photo opps. There were a lot of people but never felt overly crowded. We will be making this a family tradition!
