Family booked a boat for multiple days on lake. While on the water our first day a family member had a medical incident requiring emergency support. With barely any cell service we were able to get in touch with the Marina spoke to a person who through what was probably garbled communication they understood the situation and had an ambulance and cold water for kids waiting for us as soon as we got there. This was our first time visiting this beautiful lake and would without hesitation return for the views but also to rent from Fish Springs Marina, highly recommended. Thank you Thomas and crew!!

They made a great weekend for us. We were tardy to get a boat rental for Saturday of the July 4…read moreweekend. But Johnny and Bill had a pontoon boat for our needs. We much enjoyed the boat and Wautaga Lake. I thought the rental for the day inexpensive. Bill helped us load and explained how the boat worked. We headed straight across the lake to a cove at the right, anchored and swam. Then we traveled down lake to the bridge, the uplake to the next bridge. The marina has beer and snacks and Sweet T's to go sandwiches, etc. Not a lux spot, but super friendly. I look forward to it when we visit East Tennessee again.

Excellent find! Such a hidden chill spot on a quiet lake--unless a camp shows up. I'm assuming…read moregroups of teenagers from camps isn't common. If it is common, drop this to 2 Stars. But if they don't show up, it's a gem. You even have the whole water park to yourself, and it's fun! You can also lounge on a dock while drinking a beer with a mountain backdrop. If you want more action after that, you can go paddle-boarding, kayaking, or jet skiing. They also have a restaurant overlooking the lake with excellent Chicken Tenders and tons of beer on tap. And the service is friendly and efficient. If you want to feed fish, they're waiting for you. They come up to the side of the restaurant deck. Once again, this really comes down to how many people show up to that dock on the lake. The fewer, the better. If it's crowded, time to eat or go do something else because it's not a lot of space. Overall, recommended. For best odds of fewer people, get there early or late.

You can get a sub (hoagie roll) instead of the Texas toast. I love that they toast the hoagie roll and it had some crunch to it. The filling was a bit light but it tasted great. We were asked to get there 15 minutes early to fill out paperwork. I think we should have gotten there more like 20-25 minutes early because fitting for life vests took a little longer than expected. The boat was nice and came with nice life vests, not just the typical orange ones. When we came back in, the dock employees were there ready to help dock the boat. Any day on Holston Lake is a good day. Definitely a do again!

We believe it is because we are in contract negotiations. They are purposing a contract that says they will not continue to move our houses unless we pay a 35% increase. However if we get someone else to move them they will not reduce our rent. Three years ago they raised our rent 30% to continue moving our floating cabins. The contract states we move our own cabins. How are you suppose to move your own cabin if you don't live here or are physically unable. A company that is all about customer service,, I don't think so.
