We had five moms and six kids, and even with a couple of other families already there, the space felt calm, comfortable, and easy to enjoy. As soon as we walked in, we were warmly greeted, and my children were immediately welcomed by Tina, the owner. She's originally from North Carolina, so it felt especially nice supporting a local. I had filled out the waiver ahead of time, but the other moms were able to complete theirs on their phones or use the iPad at the facility. Tina also mentioned they'll be adding a QR code soon, which will make check-in even smoother. There is an admission fee for both kids and parents, and grip socks are required. You can bring your own or purchase them there, which was super convenient. The space is thoughtfully set up with tables for families, cubbies and hooks for shoes and bags, and a complimentary coffee and popcorn station. The coffee is served in reusable, eco-friendly mugs (and they have the cutest ones to choose from), with a nice variety of flavored options. The play area is on the smaller side, which we actually loved because it made supervising easier. The kids had a blast with the interactive screen, slides, swing, indoor trampoline, mini obstacle course, and ball pit. There's also a carousel and a reading nook in the back. Bathrooms are adorable, spacious, and had changing tables. Overall, Cloud Nine feels warm, intentional, and very family-friendly. It's the kind of place where you can relax a bit while your kids play safely, and we're really looking forward to coming back!

Once they scooped us up we were escorted to a private indoor area and got to meet and connect with red leemers, an armadillo, a sweet baby spider monkey and one more primate I can't recall the ame. Our trainers were very knowledgeable and so good with the animals and us. We spent about an hour with the animals and then walked the property to checkout the giraffes (we were warned not to get to close), sleuths, kangaroos, tigers and so many more animals. Okay... we're still talking about this days later…read more My family and I went to Nocturne Adventures not knowing what to expect, and WOW--this place blew our minds. It felt like we walked right into a full-blown horror movie. The vibe? Intense. The acting? On point. The storyline? Wild. And YES... you're actually being chased which somehow makes the puzzles feel even more real and urgent. Pure adrenaline from start to finish! But here's what really made it special: My mom is Deaf, and a lot of times she's left out of experiences like this (escape rooms can be SO fast-paced). I told her I'd interpret for her, but then one of the actors started signing in ASL. We were all stunned in the best way. It turned the night from fun to unforgettable. Our trip on the water was amazing with one of their beautiful boats. They went through a quick instruction session with me (like 5mins) before letting us free on our own. The boat comes with a full tank of gas and they charge you the amount of gas that you used during your use once you get back. If you are thinking about renting a boat and want an easy process and friendly people, go to Lake effects!

Boats are almost always available, staff is always there to help dock the boats, and their customer service is top notch. We love coming in to check in, grab an ice cream bar for the kids, and a glass of wine from the boat club lounge. Super easy process for reservations online. The covid world is a strange world, but you'll feel more normal joining this boat club which allows you to get outside and spend quality time with family and friends on the lake. Best decision EVER!
