Planet 3 - now Defy, I'm honestly not sure what to call it because the outside sign says "Defy" but…read morethere is still tons of merch inside with old branding. Anyways, if you're a parent and you're kids have been stuck in the house or just need to burn off some energy, then this is the place to take them. Why not 5-stars? Well it's from the anxiety you feel watching your kids narrowly escape serious brain injury from near miss, mid-air collisions, with other children. Are there staff monitoring people, sorta, but mostly it's parents in here doing one of two things: a.) helicoptering around their children b.) scrolling on their phones (writing Yelp reviews, of course.) As a parent, you don't come here for the peace of mind. No, it's for the hope that by the end of it all, your kids are going to be so tired that bedtime will be a breeze. The floors are disgusting, the staff is young and look like they don't want to be here, and it's really only worth it if you find a Groupon so you can afford taking multiple kids but it's earned it's 4-stars because of the energy it takes out of my kids. Time it at the right part of the day and bedtime will be a breeze.

Food not too bad but seemed a little meh. Overall, a good time was spent with most kids being courteous and pleasant. My only concern was laser tag. Once the announcement was made, everyone ran at full speed to get in line. That was dangerous, considering the number of kids there. Aside from that, we had a very good time.

Ok so the first thing I'm going to say in this review is that the customer service was great. This…read morewas my first time visiting this location with my son, and we were warmly greeted immediately. The young lady behind the counter was very friendly and informative, which was important to me. She walked me through the waivers (for me this part is usually complicated, but she walked me through it easily). If anyone wants to check the place out go on a Tuesday, $10 Tuesdays! Ok so now that I've got that out of the way... I will probably not come back, the place was filthy. The 7 and under play area had missing pads in random areas and in its place was all cement. The floor pads had sticky stains and a good layer of dirt, lint from socks, and a latex glove. The ball pit looks nice on the outside, but when I jumped in with my son you can clearly see something that looks like black mold on half of the balls. If it isn't mold then I don't know but that's what it looks like to. While I was in the ball pit you just can smell, and literally feel how dirty it is. They didn't have many arcade games, and about half didn't work. Also there were lots of areas they were closed off for safety reasons. Also there wasn't really anyone walking around enforcing rules and checking to make sure kids aren't going into any of those closed off areas. I completely understand why they make you sign those waivers. So yeah I won't be returning, but the customer service was great.

The restrooms, however, could use a bit more attention and cleaning. They have multiple party rooms and always seem to stay busy. There are activities for kids of all ages, but I feel the attractions are better suited for older children. My 4 year olds had a great time, but at times they were overwhelmed by the older kids running, jumping, and playing more aggressively. Overall, it's a fun place to keep kids entertained for a few hours, especially on hot or rainy days. If you have younger toddlers, just be prepared to supervise them a little more in the busier play areas.

Once inside, it's big, spacious, and packed with activities to keep kids busy and entertained. There's also plenty of seating for adults, good food specials, and even light adult beverages. The kids had a great time, and it felt age-appropriate for my nine-year-old as well as younger kids. My only gripe was that it was very warm inside, and the airflow didn't seem to be working well. I understand Florida heat, but some extra fans or better cooling would make a big difference. Overall, it's a fun spot for indoor play with kids, and we'd go back again.

Holy cow, all of central Florida was inside DEFY today. It was jam packed full of people. When you first walk in you have to sign a waiver and then jump into the Flyers lane where you pay and purchase socks. I signed the waivers and my boys got in line to save time. Get to the register, told the guy I had 2 groupons - that I literally purchased not even a hour prior and only had to pay for socks. Flyers have 7 pairs of socks to choose from. You have the option to get a locker for your belongings or trust the strangers. I wasn't jumping so I held onto my boys shoes/socks. There are a variety of jump zones from small to big. Can we talk about the ample supply of seating for parents?? Thank you!! We had 2 Groupons for 90 minutes of jumping and they really got about 2 hours worth - they don't really monitor your wristband colors; they go by the honor system of leaving when they call your wristband color time is up. Today, the boys got extra time and then we left when someone decided it would be funny to pull the fire alarms?? Really, who does that? They have obstacle course, zip line, high dive/jump, basketball, american ninja, dodge ball, regular jumping, circus type thing and many more. Buy a groupon(s) and you can easily spend an afternoon here - employees are walking around and are stationed at specific spots throughout the facility.

If I could give zero stars for this review I would. This facility purposely leaves their AC off…read morecreating excessive heat inside the facility. Their staff is misleading and unprofessional and there are concerns regarding conduct by management. On multiple occasions, the main trampoline and activity areas were extremely hot because the AC was not operating. Employees repeatedly stated that the system was broken. However, private birthday party rooms appeared to have functioning air conditioning, raising concerns that cooling may be provided only in select areas while customers in the main activity spaces are left in uncomfortable and potentially unsafe conditions. This is especially concerning given the physically demanding activities and the large number of children using the facility. When concerns were raised, staff responses were dismissive and inconsistent. Different employees provided conflicting explanations about the AC. A front desk employee contacted a manager, who stated that if we were unhappy with the temperature, we were free to leave. He then ended the call without identifying himself or attempting to address the issue. Shortly afterward, he called the employee back and continued the discussion privately rather than speaking directly with us. This does not appear to be an isolated incident. I visited approximately two weeks earlier when the air conditioning was functioning, but it was again not operating a few days later. I have also seen online reviews from other customers reporting similar concerns, including excessively hot conditions during birthday parties. Because this facility promotes vigorous physical activity for children and adults, maintaining a safe indoor environment should be a priority. Excessive heat can increase the risk of dehydration, dizziness, heat exhaustion, and other heat-related illnesses. Liability waivers should not excuse a business from maintaining reasonably safe conditions for its guests.

Staff seemed like local high school kids but they were all very friendly and helpful with the party area. Located inside the Lakeland mall, the only entrance is from outside near the movie theatre. They have several band options for play time and extra things like aerial play , rock climbing and laser tag. They do allow you to upgrade your wristband if need be and have seasonal passes available. The kids have a blast but I didn't like that there seem to be no security or safety protocol to ensure no runaway kiddos. That's my only con as a parent to a young child. When I asked an employee for assistance, he explained that he had to clean the bathrooms and directed me to two other employees. When I approached them, they pointed me back to him and said he would need to help me. It was frustrating trying to get a clear answer. I eventually went to the front desk to explain the situation, but they seemed just as unsure about what was going on. It appeared that the location was severely understaffed, especially considering how crowded it was. The facility was packed, and there didn't seem to be much supervision. Children were running wild, and some were even jumping and playing while carrying drinks, which raised safety concerns. They eventually opened the areas she wanted to play in, but dealing with her distress was a little much and it could've been avoided. Management needs to step up staffing and oversight, especially during busy times. The experience was disappointing, particularly after paying for the Ultimate Pass.
