Get the annual pass, 2hrs of jump everyday and the kids get their energy out. It's fantastic. It can be very loud and overwhelming for some kids so it's not for everyone. If you are a parent who needs to work on the side and using the counter table and chair, it can be a bit of a mess and you might need to clean. They don't get used much so it can be overlooked. The top counter needs to be dusted periodically. It is covered by a thick dust if you wipe it. You won't notice it at first because of the colour of the counter but if you put something on it, you will bring with you dust bunnies. Need to check on toilet paper too. ;) Beside from that, staff are nice and rely do their job. It's a big place so I know some areas can be missed sometimes. read more

Pure chaos but the kids had fun! Lots of different trampolines, a foam pit, obstacle course, and more. They also have a few video games, and while they are more active games (pedaling or kicking a soccer ball) our little ones seemed to gravitate towards those - even though our hope with going there was to be off screens. It was incredibly crowded. We couldn't even find a spot in the parking lot. Lots of people were parking across the way at Carrabba's so we did the same, but then as we walked up to the Sky Zone entrance there was a sign that said they would tow and to park next to Office Max. So I went back and moved the car, however, that was not the most ideal lot to have to walk over with kids since there's no crosswalk. read more

Couple of friends and I tried out this place because why not?? lol. Woah, this was so much fun. They do have a special on Groupon for up to 8 people, Make a huge difference. It was 90 mins of pure joy for all ages. When we went, it was mostly kids inside but that didn't stop us from having fun. You have to sign a waiver upon entering. What happened on November 26 , 2024 was very unprofessional , unkind, and very concerning. I have brought our daughter for a play date with a friend . While watching my own child , I have noticed that a certain large area was not supervised at all and it was chaotic and some children were acting beyond unsafe . Then I noticed that the employee who was responsible for overseeing the area has been talking to one of the parents while turned completely away from the area that she was supposed to observe and enforce some safety per SkyZone expectation of its employees. This was actually not the first time I have noticed that particular employee talking for extensive periods of time and not assisting with making sure the children do not act unsafe. That continued for over 35 minutes ... it was getting more and more chaotic . I ,calmly, came up to a different employee at the front and ask how many employees were on the floor right now since it's been getting chaotic without any supervision in a certain large area. Another employee approached me who claimed to be the manager... I asked if someone could please watch the area since the employee there has been talking for a very long time and not watching what was happening around her. The manager or she might've been in the role of the manager rolled her eyes at me and ran to the aforementioned employee . I stood back for a few minutes and then returned to my seat ... The two parents , two ladies, were giving me dirty looks and the employee was doing the same . I sat down calmly and continued watching my own child and her friend . The lady who was sitting beside me started to ask me disrespectful questions. All of a sudden , many employees appeared on the floor and "aggressively" started passing by me while looking at me directly . The behavior on the floor got better and safer after all the employees started doing the job they were expected to be doing , not just standing there and talking to each other or parents for extended periods of time . I later was going to the restroom and it was even more shocking to see the manager and many other employees by the registers literally " gossiping" with the lady who sat beside me and insulted me with her words It was beyond unprofessional and incredibly immature and unkind for an adult to discuss another adult with the employees who are still "kids" instead of asking them to do what they are hired to do in the first place . I haven't done anything but addressed a valid concern and the manager acted unprofessionally by going to the employee and openly talking about my expressed concern in front of others instead of quietly pulling her employees to the side and addressing the situation. I walked away because it was starting to be more than I ever expected in a simple situation like that . One of the employees followed me to persuade me that there were employers who watched that area , but I saw with my own eyes where those employees were and they were not covering a very large open area where some children were acting beyond unsafe and no one directed them to act otherwise. Then the manager approached me with the same aggressive attitude and started saying I was "rude" while all asked was a valid question. She continued arguing... With that said and the behavior I experienced yesterday afternoon, I am afraid that I will be getting a very bad treatment while bringing my child to SkyZone for a play time in the future . We would like to know who was an adult ( real supervisor) in charge on November 26 in the afternoon because it would be very disappointing to realize that the young person who claimed to be the manager was the actual manager . SkyZone is a place for the children and their parents to feel comfortable, not feel afraid to be intimidated and attacked if there were a concern of safety and professional responsibility. We ask you , kindly, to address this matter in the way that no family , including ours, feels threatened and/or bullied next time we decide to come to SkyZone of Apex, NC and bring up any concerns with the team. read more

We booked a birthday party. The party went well but pricing was deceptive. We registered on the website that said $310 for epic party for 10 and $31 additional per child. At the sign-out they brought out the statement that said "legacy plan" and charged us $32 per child. I felt something was off but didn't remember so I paid. The plan also included t-shirt, they didn't provide on their own. We went back and asked for t-shirt, they provided and asked why they charged different price - their excuse was they were under defy gravity name before (that change happened more than six months ago) and their price was higher - they refunded the diference in amount, but FTC should investigate their deceptive practices. It's been months and they are advertising lower price but continuing to charge higher presumably to everyone that doesn't notice. read more

I recently had my son's 9th Birthday party at this location and I must say I will not be returning! The staff was totally unorganized and lacked knowledge about the entire party! My guess filled out the online waiver only to be informed when they arrived that it was the old form granted it was the link that was sent prior to the day of the event! Your party planners lack the knowledge to totally inform the guest of the layout for the day of the party that your guest are expected to jump 2-3 hours then they proceed to the party room 1-hour or 30 minutes before the end of the allotted time! The location I felt the jumping area wasn't clean and I wasn't notified of the renovation that was taking place prior to us arriving! Granted I spent quite a bit of money for this party that I felt was a waste a "money pit" to be exact. Even the management was not resourceful when I spoke with the female in charge. I wasn't impressed with any of your aspects of the whole party vibe. No of my guests were impressed either the past party venues provided way more and was definitely less expensive that $40 per child to jump for 10 children and I had to pay for more drinks after the 2 pitchers were gone. Pizza was burnt and I had to request another one otherwise the server wouldn't said anything. My guest and I should've never been served this pizza! I was so disappointed and vow to never return for that much money and lack of service. I believe in hiring the young adults but prepare this for the job and the knowledge to sell the service! My disabled daughter has been a member for years. Today we were LIED TO and then turned away. The lie was that they sent out an email to everyone that they fully booked for the day. Once I proved that to be a lie to two employees, my daughter was still turned away. she is autistic and didn't understand why after waiting 10 minutes she was turned away. TERRIBLE!! The place can be fun, but if you have little kids, be prepared to stay close by to ensure their safety; don't expect the staff to. 3.5 stars for fun. It can be a fun place for kids. But it can also get packed! Additionally, everytime we went, there was at least one item out of order. Zero stars for memberships. Don't bother with memberships. Just pay as you go. Furthermore, I cancelled our membership multiple times, but was still getting charged. One star because it is fun for kids. Otherwise, there is abysmal customer service. In order to cancel after 1 month of membership you have to jump through hoops and request cancellation several days in advance of the renewal date (this is odd and unlike most subscription/membership policies elsewhere). They don't make this clear at signup and then weren't responsive at all afterward. Be very careful about how/when to cancel if you don't want to be tricked into paying a ton for continued membership. read more

My kids love this place. They are currently in virtual school and need more opportunities for exercise and play especially when the weather is bad. I purchased the membership for 20$ which is unlimited play during the week and 2 hours on the weekends. Honestly by 3 hours they are ready to go - but so far we go about two times a week - I bring my laptop - because I'm also remote and get work done while they get tired out and sweaty. Win win. No issues with staff - friendly and helpful, check-in is fine. Ok I'll admit I'm still not 100% open to "enjoy outside" yet but it was a really nice day Saturday and I didn't want to deprive my son of enjoying some form of entertainment. I looked into trampoline parks, bowling, small animal parks etc to allow him to enjoy a day out and settled on Defy Apex. After reading reviews and going in to check out how they're handling cleaning etc I was set on letting him enjoy the place. I lucked up and found a Groupon which is always nice! There is a sign now that says "Masks are optional" but we decided to keep ours on. I would say about half wore masks the others didn't. The place is very big and roomy. It was not too crowded but there was plenty of people there. I did monitor staff walking around cleaning common items such as railing, couches, chairs etc. so that was a plus for me. The staff was very friendly and made sure to keep the rules enforced. I signed up for the membership so that way it will "force" me to bring my son to burn calories along with myself LOL. I completed the waiver online but they have kiosks set up to complete the waivers if you haven't done so online. There was no line and I was checked out rather quickly. If you get a membership you have a specific line to enter which makes the process move rather quickly. Staff wore masks the entire time. read more

BIG BIG Shout out to Logan at Defy in Apex. Long story as short as possible. My seven year old didn't listen to his Mom and brings his iPod to Defy, gets on the swing, does a little move getting off the swing and drops the iPod into the pit. We came back that night and did our best to look for it - couldn't find it. I left a note with the person on duty. The next morning Logan takes it upon himself to dig out the pit and finds my sons iPod! In addition to this place being ultra cool the staff is fantastic! Thanks again Logan! Great place for kiddos of all ages. My boys (ages 6 & 4) love it & even seem to make friends every time we go. They have several options for entertainment from climbing walls, high jumps into foam pits, swings to the obvious trampolines. I do wish the older kids would be a bit more careful around the younger kids but I think there's educated hours in the mornings if you wish to be around kids their own age - we just never seem to get anywhere before noon. Overall, I highly recommend. Do expect to pay a heftier price if your kids are 6 or older though! read more

Wowza! This place is fun. It's like a mashup of Ninja Warrior + Most Extreme Elimination Challenge + a Trampoline Park on steroids. So many fun things to do. There's a zip line, obstacle course, giant swing, super tramps, high dive jumps, dodgeball, climbing wall. My 6 YO LOVED it! I'm an adventurous but not fit 38 YO and I had a great time bouncing, hanging and being a kid again. (Sure I needed Advil the next day but YOLO). If you are less adventurous there are lots of comfy couches. My daughter did hurt herself a little bit and 3 employees came over to make sure she was okay. So nice and attentive. Buyer beware, we bought a ticket for a 2 hour late night jump tonight for my daughter and her friend. Hours reflected on their website and on Yelp state they are open until 11pm on Saturday nights. The staff kicked everyone out at 10pm, stating they were closed. The place is not cheap, so I'm sorry that I wasted my money for a shortened jump time. I love this new trampoline park! Everything is still so new and clean, and I'm pretty sure it will be well maintained like the other Defy locations. There are lots of trampolines to jump on, trick areas to really 'defy gravity,' cliff jumps, balance ropes, obstacle courses (kind of like ninja warrior style), zip line, foam pits, battle beams, and lots more. I did not notice a separate area at this location for little(r) kids, but confident 5 year olds seem to do okay here. I just notice on their website that there is a special "under 6" KidJump where the park is open exclusively for parents and children. There is also a discounted price for kids 6 and under all the time here too. Also, for parents of older kids, there is a "lounge" area where you can get a view of the whole park from above so you can be available when needed by your big kids. My kiddo has a BLAST whenever we come here - and we've been twice since they opened a few weeks ago. Each time she has found some other part of the park she wants to get closer to mastering, and she's always all smiles. I've seen some children younger than she is all the way up to adults having a lot of fun here at the various obstacles. As far as trampoline parks go, this is my favorite in the immediate area! There still seem to be a few issues that need to be worked out though. The check-in process has had glitches each time I've been here, once for me and once for the other parent on our play-date. I do like that you can pre-order the jump pass online, but I feel like there should be a "skip the line" option when arriving here, and a reliable computer to be able to check everyone in. When I experienced the really slow check-in, the employee said he usually worked in another area there and didn't know how to finish up our check-in process so we had to wait for someone else to assist us. My guess is that as this spot stays open, the staff will become more experienced and hopefully these issues won't continue. Also, you need their special socks here. They do have a variety to choose from to buy here, or you can bring ones from another location if you have them already. read more

Went to Apex location today with a 9 year old and 5 year old yes they had fun. But at sign in the young man indicated we could get a 30 day membership for the equivalent price of $ 43.00 dollars. Two kids in tow and lots of chaos. Get home and get an email that indicated this was 3 MONTH MINIMUM COMMITMENT and to cancel you go to a web site and enter your membership number and they will issue you a cancellation in 5-7 business days otherwise the payment renews monthly. By the way the 3 month commitment only grants access before 1:00 PM on weekends. Issued a cancellation online immediately and now trying to sort through stopping the 3 MONTH COMMITMENT. I was standing beside my wife and heard the 30 day story. There is no ambiguity on what I was told and I do not expect I need to read the fine print when showing up with kids for 90 minutes of trampoline time. Beware, Beware read more

We've been to 4 trampoline parks in Central North Carolina. This one is the best! It has the most organized layout, making it feel less congested. Staff really engaged. And it's the first one that actually refereed the dodge ball game, so it wasn't just a chaotic free-for-all. We will definitely return here! read more
