I wish I had looked at the yelp revie. I came in today at 12:00 for a regular pedicure, and was seen right away by a women who's name I was never given, and who never spoke to except when she was attempting to up sell me services. The services is okay, you are treated fairly roughly while you are here. The water was scalding hot in the foot bath. Followed by having a chunk of my nail ripped from my toe. I then had a burning hot rock treatment, and when I say burning I mean lava. Truly, I love heat, and I have a high pain tolerance but this was over the top. I found myself wincing throughout most of this experience. When I went to pay the sign says: "Discount for cash payment" which she refused to give me, then when I asked if I could get a receipt so when I called later to ask about this she said "No, we don't give receipts for cash payments" and walked away. Clearly this will be my last visit to Sky Nail and Spa. Update: So two years later and my toe nails still haven't grown out from this horrific pedicure. Yes, You read that right, two years. I ended up getting toenail fungus from this place and having to take medication to kill it. And having toenail surgery to correct the ingrown toenails that resulted from this terrible experience. read more

Wait time was kinda long, I had made an apt but I personally arrived almost 10 mins late and I believe e a walk in got my time slot (my bad for running late). Overpriced .... Watch the "add-on's" that get snuck in via a question that you will be charged between $5-15 dollars for. One of the technicians was friendly. The one that assisted my daughter was rude, short cut her services and man-handled my daughter on her first mani-pedi experience (she is 11). No patience and no guidance on there to put or leave your hands or feet! They converse on their phones or to each other the ENTIRE time. Do not go here! They did a horrible job on my nails and refuse to give me a refund. I came in asking for a purple ombre short acrylics and got weird egg-shaped slightly purple chunks of acrylic on my nails. When I asked him for a refund he said he can't do that because "they be put out of business". So how many times have people asked for refund? So many times, that you would actually have to close your doors because of it? Not only that, he had the nerve to ask me if I cut them down! I told him no, they looked like this when I left. I had to take a gift card even though I told him I will never be back here. Super disappointed. Also, the guy doing them, David, cut my finger. This place is probably ok if you get a good manicurist? My appt was at 10:45, there were 3 employees sitting around and I still had to wait for service. Kim took me. I do not wear nail polish (I pick it off) so I just wanted a manicure. She gave me one alright. It was over in 10 minutes! She did not clean under the nails and left them so rough it feels like they've been rubbed with sandpaper. They sent me a survey and I was honest. Not going back. They called and offered a gift certificate for the poor service. You can keep the certificate. I have since been told that this place is very hit/miss. Good luck. I had the worst pedicure, just rushed and left pink all around my toes. I left with a wet toes even though I was told they were dry. I am so disappointed on my experience. I went in with 7 girls for a batchelorette activity with a reservation and was told we would be done all together. Well everyone one was done within minutes of them starting on me. Then they rushed my Deluxe pedicure and skipped over a foot massage all together. I had an appointment to get pedicures with a friend. My friend's pedicure began and was completed while I sat in the chair next to her, waiting 45 minutes, until Douglas came to do my mani-pedi. The woman who did my friend's pedicure made several attempts to up-sell. Then Douglas proceeded to do the same. He asked if I'd like my callouses done and then said it would cost extra. He asked if I'd like my fingernails buffed to a shine and said it would be $5 extra. The basic mani-pedi was $52 and Douglas rushed through it. The massage was totally insignificant, lasting a moment, and was a big disappointment. I've been here many times but I'm not receiving the service I've had in the past ... so I'll have to find somewhere else to go. read more

Their chairs were nicer than some places I've been and I got there by noon on a Friday and they got me right in. It was $38 for a deluxe pedi which is about what most places charge. All their products, lotions, foot soaks came in individual packages which was good from a sanitary standpoint. I noticed they really want to do gel, which I'm not a fan of only because it uses uv light. I did regular polish and Douglas did a great job. Went here last Saturday for a gel Pedicure and Manicure. Everything went okay until the next day. I noticed a little bit of swelling around my right big toe and by Monday, it had gotten worse. I tried at home remedies but ended up having to go in to the urgent care today (which cost me $140+), due to it getting worse. Had to have my toenail cut off due to an ingrown nail caused by them. Not the best place to take a young child. Friend and I had 2pm appt for us and our girls to each get pedicures. The problem is the waiting seating is at the front while the kids chairs are in the very back with no seating. They took the girls right away but had just sat two walk ins in the adult chairs by the where our girls were ... I don't know if the original intention was that we would have had those chairs, as a women told us that was where we would be when the women were done. Fast forward 45 minutes, it was a bit awkward to have to stand in a crowded hallway to be with our girls since they weren't ready for us, and when the women looked like they were getting ready to leave I went to the front to grab our purses and my friends baby carseat. As I was walking back a gentleman that worked there told me I couldn't take our stuff back there. I clarified asking why I couldn't take out things where we would be sitting. He replied "well you aren't sitting yet." It was somewhat my final straw and we left without getting our pedicures... they had already finished the girls anyways and still weren't ready for us. Overall, maybe I expected too much. I wanted a nice first experience where my daughter and I got out nails done together. What I ended up getting was an awkward hour standing in a hallway waiting for my own pedicure that I never got while my daughter did get to enjoy hers at least. I'm not sure what they expect moms to do who aren't planning to get their own nails done or who they don't plan timing wise well for and finish the kids before they even take the moms. Simply moving the children seats to the front where there are other places to sit seems like it would fix the problem. I do like this place for myself, but they don't seem to be equipped to handle children well or pre made reservations... Not planning to come back here, there are plenty of other nicer local places. read more

I tried to strike up a conversation, none of them was interested. I was passed from technician to technician several times. The last one was really rough and not only hurt me but drew blood too. i went for a regular pedicure and gel manicure. the woman who did my pedicure, i believe her name is kim, was very rude/ straight up nasty to me. she was on her phone for about 10 minutes while i first sat in the chair. the water was too hot for my feet and when i politely asked for it to be turned down she just rolled her eyes. she then asked if i wanted my nails "long". i said sure. she then asked if i wanted gel or if i wanted them long. confused i said "i would like gel but if you can keep them long that would be great". she then rolled her eyes and started laughing at me as if i was an idiot. she then began to get angry with me claiming i needed to make up my mind. i even pulled out my phone to show her a picture of what i wanted which just made her more angry. i then realized she was probably referring to acrylics as "long". i asked if she was talking about acrylics and stated that i still wanted gel. she continued to laugh at me and roll her eyes. i even apologized to her and said that i was sorry if i confused her, perhaps i just didn't understand. she hastily did my pedicure, and the entire duration of it was about 10 to 15 minutes. extremely brief and not well done. i've been to other places a pedicure can take upwards of an hour. i understand that being a service worker, especially a manicurist, is tough work. however, i felt very uncomfortable by this interaction and do not plan on going to this place ever again. i will note, the man who did my manicure was very kind to me and did a great job. read more

The person doing my nails was helping everyone else BUT me (either by taking calls for those trying to make appointments or if someone else needed assistance with doing a design on their nail). And the job they did on my nails was not great! I had asked to get a gel fill and file down my nails and a pedicure. Susan did such a wonderful job. I have had such a horrible experience at the last 3 places to get my nails done. My natural nail bed is so thin now and damage :( I was scared to go anyone to get my nails fixed since it had only been 3 days that I got my acrylics done which 5 had broke within the first 2 days. Susan was so patience and soaked off the rest of the Acrylics and re did them. I will be returning to do the powder dips in 2 weeks which she did say are healthier for my nails.
