My nails came out good. However, the customer service I received was very disappointing and disrespectful. My mom and I went in at 4:30 for a fill and a full set. They told us to please come back at 6, knowing they closed at 7. The service was very slow. My nail tech and I had good conversation until she realized I wasn't local. My mom, brother, and sister in law live down the street so I'm around a lot. However, there was an immediate shift when she realized I was not a potential regular. At the end, I provided payment via card and a cash tip. The tip was thrown back at me and the nail tech told me I must provide 20% for the service she provided. I was not going to argue over $15. However, I'm sure there are plenty of individuals who cannot provide a 20% tip. She went over to her boss and they laughed about it. A very uncomfortable position to put a customer in with the doors locked. TNT Nails in Monroe has great prices for their work and they treat customers with respect. This was my first experience getting a manicure with my natural nails. I usually get acrylics because the polish and quality last longer. However, it's been almost a week and my nails look just as good as the day I got them done. The entire experience was amazing. Everyone was extremely friendly and welcoming. The ambience was very peaceful and chill. They gave me a shoulder massage when my nails were drying and ended with a hot towel. I was a walk-in and was immediately seated. I love the color and quality of my nails. My nail tech was super sweet and I couldn't be any happier. The prices are also very reasonable. Got an infection after getting my nails done. First time going here, asked if they sterilize their tools. The lady at the front desk named Joey said yes. I saw that technician pulled her tools out of a box. So I asked her if they were sterilized. She also said yes. After she was done using them on me she sprayed them with something from a small bottle and put them back into the same box. I commented on what she did and she said that later she will sterilize. Why spray them and put them back into the same box with other tools and emery boards. This place is a disaster and it's a matter of time before the city shuts them down. read more

I have been going here for about 10 years now. Tried all the nail salons in the area until I found this one. They do a very nice pedicure-Esther is great. Place is always clean. Joy does a wonderful job with gel manicure and goes out of her way to find a color I like and to try new nail art. Have never had a problem. I've found it is best to make an appointment if you want a specific person. If you just walk in you will get whoever is available. They can be very busy, especially on a Saturday. I used to bring my mother as well and they were very accommodating with her walker and helped her get in and out of the chairs. I've seen some of the other negative posts and have observed when a person walks into a business with an attitude, you can expect a similar response from the employees. A smile and a kind word goes a long way towards receiving excellent service. read more

I was there this morning. The pedicure was sub par: she didn't scrub my heels and maybe rubbed lotion on for a few seconds. Employees weren't working so they were popping bubble wrap (many for a long time) while one was listening to a show on her phone so everyone could hear. 2 were using a mop for something next to my chair and it was cracking them up as they stood next to me pushing the mop (not cleaning so not sure what for) on and around my shoes and purse. 45 for gel polish, not posted. I have had 6 acrylic fills with Jennifer and was very satisfied. Great work! She listened to what I don't like and is meticulous! But today I sent my daughter in for her own new full set. Jennifer was not available. $75 later my daughter came home with a very crooked nail and a shape she disliked. I sent her right back to the shop. What is upsetting is yes she is 17 but she is a customer who knows what she likes and mommy was paying . The artist who did her nails blamed her finger for the reason her nails weren't put on straight. She said the nail isn't crooked your finger is. I see this occur on tiktok with toe extensions and nail extensions. Put the nail on straight! We are not decrepit witches. My middle finger curves and i have dark nails but that is why I see Jennifer! Nails are for the perfect aesthetic. Provide that. Every time. If i had a pimple a makeup artist would diminish the imperfection not accentuate it! Furthermore my child said "my mom sent me back when i came home unhappy. She is a customer." My child was asked for evidence like who is your mom? Show me. Please stop this. Her money is as green as everyone else's. You shouldn't need evidence as motivation to satisfy your customer. You accepted her as a customer the second she sat in your seat. Please: Ask people how they like their nails before you start. Analyze your work as you go. Your work will be on display tomorrow! She takes great care of my feet, toes and nails and gives such wonderful massages. She is kind and professional. I also receive waxing services from Esther who is so gentle. Wow I am really upset right now. They way over charged me for full set and pedicure. They charged $75 for a uv gel full set which i specifically did not ask for. And I know they did not use Gel nail polish. The ladies who did my nails did great so I still had to tip them but what I was ready to pay $90 for i ended up spending $123. For plain nails. Will never go back and will be telling others not to go there. Owner tried to tell me that they didnt do full sets without uv light, even when I pointed it out right in front of her on her own signage. Just lies. I went there today with my daughter for a pedicure. Since it's my first time there I asked if she, the owner, could tell me what they do for their pedicures. She said it was "$25 but don't ask me any questions about pedicures if I have to keep answering questions then that's all I'm doing is answering questions instead of doing nails. I literally stood there and looked at my daughter and then looked at some of the other customers who were feeling probably as uncomfortable as I was. She continued to explain that she's busy and that they have a lot of customers so take your seat and wait. The whole time I'm sitting there I'm thinking is that really how you talk to your customers? Even my 11 yr old daughter said she was rude. I decided to stay because i do believe that she shouldn't be a reflection of the whole staff. Ultimately the actual pedicure was fantastic. Maria was fantastic and I highly recommend her. My feet soaked in the whirlpool for about 15mins When Maria took my feet out she pushed back the cuticles and cleaned up my nails. My feet were so smooth and they haven't felt that good in a long time she also put different gels and lotions on my legs. Then a hot towel . Alexandria handled my daughter and did great, though my daughter's feet are sensitive so everything tickled. I probably felt more sorry for Alexandria to put up with her. Lol Oddly enough a disagreement broke out between a customer and the owner. Apparently someone prepaid for her and her granddaughter to have what she thought would be a Mani and pedi. Apparently she only got a mani. When she quietly asked the owner about it, the owner jumped up and got very defensive. The customer, after some light back and forth, decided to call her son to come in and confirm the purchase. While she waited for him she got angrier and angrier about how she was treated at the onset, though I believe she then took it to the wrong level by continuing to complain and then curse. There was a lot of kids there and it became ridiculous. I'm being very light in my description but I just wanted to show that the owner's customer service is not up to par, but thankfully the service itself is what MAY bring me back in the future.... but in the interim, I'll be looking for another place. read more

Yes, guys get pedicures too. I've had nothing but wonderful experiences at Sky Nail Zone using four different technicians. All were Latinas who spoke limited English, but took their time to deliver a thorough and relaxing treatment. If you have the time and extra funds, go for the shea butter treatment and foot massage (total cost $40). Otherwise, it's $25 for the normal pedicure. The massage chairs and foot tubs are modern, clean and comfortable. As a professional DJ, I couldn't help but notice the really great musical soundtrack in the spa to help enhance the therapeutic experience - Buble, Sinatra, Michael Crawford, Bocelli. Went to get my nails done... as a man and all I heard was the employees making fun of me for being a guy and getting my nails done. Once they realized I spoke Spanish, they seemed a bit shocked and uncomfortable. Went over to get my hands done and the chair made a weird sound as I swiveled around and I was almost forcibly removed from the chair and was accused of breaking her chair. I took my business somewhere else. For my next two refills after Valentine's Day, I went to two separate nail salons. I shared my experience at sky nails zone with the other owners and/or employees at these separate salons and thank God I did- it was so validating!! Both parties listened and validated me and were just as surprised by the price and service like me! Furthermore, one of the owners said that she would never charge that because that's a good way to scare off customers, " it's a rip off". AND ON TOP OF THAT - when I was in the second salon sharing my experience, a customer interrupted my story saying that she had a similar experience at sky nail zone in 2019 and hasn't been since then!! Of course that's great for anyone who is willing to drop $97 plus tip on a mani/pedi, that's their prerogative. But for me someone who gets her nails done biweekly for the past five years, I can promise you that nail salon will never see me again. read more

I have never liked Joy. She is beyond rude!! She picks and chooses the customers who have the money and she feels is worthy enough to speak too. I continued to go there because of 1 technician. If I say I want something because there have been times Joy has had to take me, she will tell me "you don't need that" when I ask for a drawing on my nails. That's because she rushed to move me so she can get to the customer she actually favors. She has insulted me so many times just because I ask for certain ways I like my nails. Calls me crazy, etc for all to hear and has told my daughters the same when I'm not with them. I scheduled an appt one time and when I came in she had to do my nails. She clearly had another appt that walked in that would over lap. She literally told me "move over there. You aren't suppose to even be here." Totally humiliating! I stopped going to her. She is a full blown narcissist. Not to mention when Esther does your waxing she literally will make a face if you don't tip her enough. For a quick eyebrow wax you don't need more than $5. I called and made an appointment for a gel manicure and a gel pedicure at Sky Nail Zone. - The Hispanic woman who did my pedicure was a kind and pleasant person, she asked me if I wanted a massage for just $10 extra, I did not go there with the intention of getting a massage, but she was so nice that I decided to take her up on her offer - My pedicure was average, nothing special, but the massage was relaxing and included hot stones and was the best part of the pedicure - Then after the massage, Esther came over to my pedicure chair to start filing my fingernails for the manicure, and I noticed a black spider crawling on the sleeve of my denim jacket, she flicked it away with the same nail file that she was using to file my nails. - When I sat down at her station for my manicure, she started asking me questions including how old I was, which I thought was a little intrusive (not everyone wants to tell their age) - Then towards the end of the manicure, Esther had the nerve to ask me how much I was going to tip the woman who did my pedicure! Because she said that woman had already left the salon - I assumed the pedicure was about $30 or less, I didn't see any prices listed anywhere in the salon - So, I said $5.00, to which Esther replied, "Only 5?!" - I said, "Well how much was the pedicure?", and she said "$60.00"!!! - I said, "Wow $60?", I was shocked!, Esther mentioned that I had a massage, and the massage was $15 for 10 minutes, even though the woman who did my pedicure said it was only $10 extra I didn't mention it, I just said ok I'll give her a $10 tip, which seemed to please Esther - I have never in my entire life heard of a $60 pedicure! That means even if you subtract the now $15 massage, the pedicure was still $45! Wow! I've had both a gel mani and a gel pedi together for less than the cost of that one pedicure - Even in West Windsor my gel pedicure was only $35! - Then she asked how I was going to pay, I said with a card, but I'll pay the tips in cash, then she pointed to the ATM and said I had to use the ATM, when I went up to the desk to pay, I asked if they take cards or not, and a different Asian woman said they do, so I don't know why Esther was telling me to use the ATM - Then I asked the woman at the desk to give the $10 tip to the woman who did my pedicure, and the woman who did my pedicure was standing right behind me as if she was waiting for the tip, she had never left!! She was there the whole time! - I was surprised to see she was STILL there even though Esther had told me she left - I tipped Esther $10 as well, for the manicure she did, just so she wouldn't gossip about me being cheap after I left. - The manicure cost me $35, so I spent $95 for the mani/pedi, and $10 in tips for the pedicure, and $10 in tips to Esther for the manicure, so that is a total of $115 just for a plain gel mani/pedi! - I never had someone at a nail salon ask me how much I was going to tip someone ELSE! Who asks someone what they're going to tip someone else?! How rude! - The manicure Esther did for me was uneven and crooked! One corner of my thumb nail was so sharp that it could poke an eye out. I only went to Sky Nail Zone because I am new to this area and I didn't know any better. I've had many mani/pedis and full sets of acrylic nails in my life and never had an experience such as this. I have had full sets of acrylic nails/ dip powder with designs and rhinestones and glitter etc., the works! (you name it), with gel pedicures included and it STILL didn't cost what this below average plain gel mani/pedi ended up costing me!! As I was getting it, I was contemplating going somewhere else to get my gel manicure, but I didn't and boy do I regret it! My gel manicure looks like a blind 3 year old did it. Again rushed. The tech did not push my cuticles back, did not soak my hands and again, slapped on the polish uneven and sloppy. I left with polish on my finger. Again, $30. 1.) Joy is incredible. She did my last fill and guaranteed it would last 3 wks. It was FIVE weeks yesterday, and only a few are lifting on the bottom. She squeezed me in at closing time and stayed late to finish. Great experience! 2.) The woman who did my initial full set & 1 fill was not incredible. She seemed annoyed the entire time. After cutting me while filing TWICE, I flinched a little when the file hit my cuticle again, so she pushed my hand away and asked if I wanted her to do this or not. Probably the worst pedicure that I have had in a while. The pedicure felt very rushed and the brush that she used on my toenails looked old, worn down, and dirty! I will not be back to sky zone nails. I came in 45 minutes before they closed. I was the only customer. I received a rushed manicure. I sat under the dryer for 10 minutes. They asked me if they could turn the lights out because they were closed. I said sure. Then, they told me I was dry. I told them I was not dry. I was told it was unfair of me to expect them to stay later than their closing time to wait for my nails to dry. They insisted I leave and I protested. Eventually, I resolved to leave with wet nails which were smudged, nicked and smeared no sooner than I go to the car. I will not ever go back.
