It depends on your luck. Of course they would tell you these teacher is specially selected for you base on your kid's whatever but in reality. The owners seem is the best teacher but they pick their student very selectively. Only the best will get into their schedule. Other's they don't care. I would never send my kid to music schools like that again. Will always get the individual teacher in the future. Amanda, My son got pass the ABRSM with distinction is mostly because of his hard-work. I want to add that your school and the teacher didn't informed us there will be a fourth song that needed to play during exam until a week before the actual exam. That being said. This shows how inexperience the teacher is and your school didn't bother to let us know as we have plan this months prior. My son only had a week to practice a bring new song before the exam and that really stress out the entire family and fortunately our son pulled it off. Again. All you care is fulfilling your teacher's schedule over the independent students growth as you have many students with many teachers who sometimes comes and go fairly quickly. I am not saying you don't care about your students but we feel we didn't get enough attention as we feel independent teacher would be a much better choice for parents who wants more growth for their kids in time.

Her depth of technical skill and understanding of the instrument and music in general is impressive. She is a skilled teacher and works with me as an individual with my own strengths (few) and addresses my weaknesses (many) gently. The piano is a complex, multifaceted instrument and requires a comprehensively trained, serious, professional and talented instructor. Ms Stroganoff is all that and more - she has a true depth of understanding of the instrument and music across many disciplines. It is simply a joy to work with her.

Don't recommend for busy adults that want good service and flexibility…read more 1. Strict, complicated scheduling rules. You can't just cancel, you have to commit to the whole month in advance and making up classes is extremely constrained. You'll pay for classes you don't attend. 2. Trapdoor auto-renew billing. You can sign up easily but there's no easy way to cancel. You have to email them and they're slow to respond. 3. Disorganized. Lessons were meandering and felt improvised. I only signed up for 30min per week and it felt like 10 mins of useful lesson time. Not worth the commute back and forth. 4. Chaotic environment. The student portal is a mess. Lots of email spam. Confusing rules. The studio is noisy (understandable). I had to remain crouched in the lesson room because the ceiling is only 6ft high. Staff seemed generally very nice, but out of their element when dealing with adult students. They value their own time much more than yours. I wanted to make time for developing my musical skills outside of my primary career and this experience ended up wasting time and money and just adding more stress to my life. I learned a little but ultimately not worth the costs. Will go with a private tutor in the future.

I came to Angeline as an adult beginner with a quiet fear that I had waited too long to start…read moreviolin. That fear didn't survive my first few lessons. Angeline has a rare ability to meet students exactly where they are. She never made me feel like a novelty or an exception, just a student with work to do and the capacity to do it. Her instruction is structured and clear, with genuine attention to technique, but she also knows when to slow down and rebuild a foundation rather than just push forward. What I didn't expect was how encouraged I'd feel. Adult learners carry a different kind of self-consciousness, and Angeline seems to understand that without it ever needing to be said. Progress felt real and earned, not artificially inflated. Waiting for my lessons, I've also watched her work with younger students. She's patient, engaging, and clearly knows how to hold a kid's attention without losing the substance of the instruction. She's genuinely good with all ages. She also holds recitals for her students, which I think says a lot about how seriously she takes their development. I'm not there yet, but making it onto that stage one day is something I'm actually working toward now, and that's not something I would have said before studying with her. If you're on the fence about picking up the violin, whether you're an adult who thinks it's too late or a parent looking for the right fit for your kid, Angeline is the answer. Hands down the best teacher you'll find.

From the beginning, Angeline places a strong emphasis on building a great technical foundation, especially developing a beautiful and controlled bow hand. These are the kinds of skills that set her students apart and elevate their playing to a higher level. Angeline holds her students to very high standards, but she does so with care, intention, and a deep commitment to each child's growth. In fact, my daughter had to relearn how to bow for almost a year; however, the time and effort was worth it. Angeline knows exactly how to challenge her students to reach their fullest potential while providing the structure, clarity, and encouragement they need to succeed. The progress and growth we've seen in our daughter the past two years has been remarkable. She has grown not only in technical ability and tone, but also in confidence, discipline, and musical expression. It's clear that Angeline's thoughtful, detail-oriented approach brings out the best in her students. If you're looking for a teacher who is deeply committed to excellence, meticulous, and genuinely brings out the best in her students, we couldn't recommend Angeline more.

All the teachers are fantastic and I was impressed by how they even made the occasional Zoom-class entertaining and fun for the kids. My kid LOVES the classes and it's such a delight to overhear the humming and singing of songs and really starting to get the rhythm - definitely due to nurture, not nature, on that one! Their website is a little more complicated to navigate than necessary but the customer service team has always been quick and pleasant to help schedule make-up classes. Overall, I plan to send my kid there for as long as possible and given how they structure the program, it will be for many years to come.
