Amazing place. Great people working here. Saul is truly a man of the community and does what he can to help people. This place really embodies what small businesses in the community are supposed to be like. read more

Super solid spot. Was in and out in about 10 minutes and that's mostly because they had some brands of wine I've never seen or heard of and I wanted to do some quick research. It's a typical liquor store. You got your hard liquors behind the register, wine in the middle aisles, beer in the back. Snacks all about. They sell fireworks as well. It was generally clean. You get a few people in here and it starts to feel smaller. Came on a Sunday afternoon around 2pm and there was a steady stream of people in and out. Parking right in front has enough spots for about five cars but it shares a lot with other businesses. Prices were a bit higher than what would typically pay at a larger retail store but that's pretty standard read more

I've been back in San Diego for about 6-7 months and I have to say when I needed a cold one or a snack or even something to puff on (cigarettes/vapes) this place was the spot ever since I've came back I've been going here nonstop for whatever I need when it comes to munchies or drinks and everything in between I definitely recommend this place and the customer service is on point read more

As a disabled veteran I sometimes need assistance and they have never hesitated to help me, often going above and beyond in their service. I truly appreciate the help and support they've provided me. read more

We never had issues until today. But I can tell you I will never be back and nor will anyone I know even though We all live on Newsome. The literal street next to the liquor store, but still wouldn't go back. They also don't ID very much here so if you're a minor or just don't like getting ID'd, kind of a good spot. Been going there since November 2018 getting woods and liquor and only have been ID'd 2 times. (I look like I'm 12 so, if I can you can) read more

Today is 2/21/20, I went to the store and brought the black mold burrito with me. The guys at the register immediately told me their boss saw my review and wanted to talk to me, so they called him and he apologized to me profusely. He was just as disgusted by the situation as I was. It's been 2 days and he had already called his distributor to complain about their inventory stocking. He offered to pay for my purchase today, and gave me an refund for the burritos too! Wow! Very generous and I'm very impressed! I also noticed they had already removed the other burritos from their stock. They took swift action and were really appreciative of my review and said it would never happen again. This response was way more than I expected. Most establishments don't even pay attention to their reviews, let alone respond and correct the situation so quickly. I'll be coming back here for sure! They value their customers! ------------------------------- Today is 2/19/20, I bought a frozen burrito which had no expiration date on it, so I just trusted it because I assumed this place was a reputable place and they probably take inventory and know when to replace their stock. Bad move. Once I opened the wrapper, it was full of black mold !! Disgusting! This place is only good for liquor! I will go in next week for a refund! read more

Not once have I ever been ID'd here. A guy tried not selling them to me once and I asked him why as I never have been Id'd. He then offered to sell them to me as I had an issue and he said ok " you work at Ikea ok I will sell to you" and stated it's not right for them to do that just because I work at Ikea to sell to me. I'm there daily and he blatantly said he remembered me. So then he again took the woods back and refused to sell them. I myself and my boyfriend come back minimum every other day to buy a full box of woods. All five of us live within one block. All of us will not be back. read more

Won't be coming back. The guy today 7/6/20 was rude as hell to my girlfriend to the point myself, she, and all three of my roommates who buy from here daily will no longer be shopping with sky liquor. It really says something when there's a liquor store less than 2 min walk away from your house but you'd rather drive 5-10 minutes to another liquor store to get what you need, as to not have any issues. Not only are we never ID'd. The cashier asked to see her ID. She then asked why as she is never ID'd, he then offered to sell it to her saying he remembers her ikea uniform, she then replied that her uniform shouldn't dictate weather he sells as she never gets ID'd, then then for a second time refuses to sell them. Sadly we will no longer be buying anything. I myself and I'm almost 100% sure she will be reporting this incident. I wouldn't recommend read more

Sky Liquor????? More like Sky High Prices! 1 six pack of sculptin and 2 swishers=19.50???? WTF!!!! Never going here again...go to the 7-11 on the other side of the lot. I would give a negative star if it was a option read more

I did it! Bought a house in a new neighborhood that I know nothing about. Im a stranger in a strange town and needed some beer for a guest that was in route. I headed over to the 7-11 nearby and spotted this little place in the corner of the same parking lot. Well Sky Liquor, you and I are about to become friends. Im a needy one, one in need of boozy and beery type things. I was in a rush and did not get to explore the store much, so expect your score to rise with future visits. Just purchased a 12 pack and was out the door. I will return soon though. Oh yeah and ... First. read more

My delivery order was never delivered, wish I was notified so I could of went through a different app...

I found this store by accident and glad I went in while I was visiting San Diego. I hadn't seen Crown Peach in Houston in so long and was happy to see it in this store! They had everything I needed and service was great! We even went back again for more! read more

I walked in to check out the local store. Met the new owner Andy and his customer service was absolutely outstanding. Makes you feel very welcome and he's friendly. The store is very clean, you can tell they make sure everything is organized and clean. The prices are honestly the best I've seen in town. Definitely coming here from now on! read more

This place has become the to go to convince store for my family and I. By far the best service and prices in comparison to the other 7/11s and store in the area. Piece of advice, make friends with the owners and you'll always be taken care of. read more

Would not recommend going here. My friend was just given a bad attitude. She buys boxes from here like every other day so I'm not sure who but they literally pushed her to never buying from here and making sure all of us don't either. read more

New year, new owner. Much better. Things are running smoothly and customer service is awesome (and funny).

Awesome store. Literally has everything. The employees there are always so helpful and welcoming. Spoke with employee I was told it's under new management and I can different see the difference. Thanks guys for all the help. read more

Just moved to the area a few months ago, and usually bought my stuff from the 7-11 by there, that was before one of my friends that's a local, told me to go here, and now I'm a daily customer, and they have other essentials there besides liquor, such as milk butter and bread and lots of other stuff, somedays I don't feel like driving I can just walk there and get what I need, and the owners are nothing but nice to everyone. And PS. They have alot of big winning scratch cards come out of this store. read more

I've lived in this neighborhood for 10 years Eddie the owner is such a nice guy. Unfortunately he's left morons in charge of the store. In the last year I have gotten over charged for alcohol three times. Four months ago I completely boycotted the store and told all friends and family to go to 711 instead. I just decided to stop in last night and I could not believe I was over charged AGAIN. It was such a disappointment. They have their wine with the sticker price of $3.99. When I got two bottles for $15 you can only imagine my reaction. They said they priced the wine wrong and won't honor the sticker. I will be contacting the city. This is a classic bait and switch and it's completely illegal. The guy Danny who "manages" (and I use this term loosely) is awful. He should be replaced before Eddie ends up with more trouble than he needs. read more

The guys here have always been friendly to me and stopped carding me after the first time I went in. Best place to get late night booze in the college arra during the weekend. Their store is always clean, and the prices are good. read more

Rip off beer prices and over priced cigars right next to 7/11.... makes no sense since 7/11 always have and are always open...

2.5 stars. Standard liquor store. They do have very cold coolers because my brew was crispy even after I got home. Some decent sales on liquor, pretty much what you'd expect from the neighborhood liquor store. The people working there were nice enough. Nothing extraordinary about it, although they did carry Schlitz high gravity VSL, but they didn't have Stack so.. All in all, average. read more

I live 2 minutes away from Sky Liqour and if there is anything I ever need from tissue to Tanqueray they got it! The staff is professional and courteous and always eager to help me with whatever I need. They have an amazing selection if Alcohol from local craft beers to high end liquor and spirits. These guys definitely know how to make they're guests feel like a part of the family. I'd go to Sky Liqour before I would go to 711. I feel like 711 doesn't go the extra mile or even the few extra feet to make they're customer feel welcome or help with what they need. Sky Liquor is a staple in local community up here and I highly suggest trying them for your next convenient store purchase. keep up the good work guys! read more

What a difference! Now that the owner Andy is back running things, the store has really turned for the better. The store looks 100x better; cleanliness, stock, friendly faces, etc. The products are actually priced now which makes me feel like I'm not getting hustled each time like when the old manager used to guess what to charge. Andy and the new staff have greeted me every time I walked in and actually care to engage in conversation with my buddies and I when purchasing. That's how to keep customers coming back! Great job Sky! read more

The store itself is kept clean and neat and you're always greeted with kindness. read more
