It's a typical liquor store. You got your hard liquors behind the register, wine in the middle aisles, beer in the back. Snacks all about. They sell fireworks as well. It was generally clean. We never had issues until today. But I can tell you I will never be back and nor will anyone I know even though We all live on Newsome. The literal street next to the liquor store, but still wouldn't go back. They also don't ID very much here so if you're a minor or just don't like getting ID'd, kind of a good spot. Today is 2/21/20, I went to the store and brought the black mold burrito with me. The guys at the register immediately told me their boss saw my review and wanted to talk to me, so they called him and he apologized to me profusely. He was just as disgusted by the situation as I was. It's been 2 days and he had already called his distributor to complain about their inventory stocking. He offered to pay for my purchase today, and gave me an refund for the burritos too! Wow! Very generous and I'm very impressed! I also noticed they had already removed the other burritos from their stock. They took swift action and were really appreciative of my review and said it would never happen again. This response was way more than I expected. Most establishments don't even pay attention to their reviews, let alone respond and correct the situation so quickly. I'll be coming back here for sure! They value their customers! ------------------------------- Today is 2/19/20, I bought a frozen burrito which had no expiration date on it, so I just trusted it because I assumed this place was a reputable place and they probably take inventory and know when to replace their stock. Not once have I ever been ID'd here. A guy tried not selling them to me once and I asked him why as I never have been Id'd. He then offered to sell them to me as I had an issue and he said ok " you work at Ikea ok I will sell to you" and stated it's not right for them to do that just because I work at Ikea to sell to me. I'm there daily and he blatantly said he remembered me. So then he again took the woods back and refused to sell them. I myself and my boyfriend come back minimum every other day to buy a full box of woods. All five of us live within one block. All of us will not be back. read more

Won't be coming back. The guy today 7/6/20 was rude as hell to my girlfriend to the point myself, she, and all three of my roommates who buy from here daily will no longer be shopping with sky liquor. It really says something when there's a liquor store less than 2 min walk away from your house but you'd rather drive 5-10 minutes to another liquor store to get what you need, as to not have any issues. Not only are we never ID'd. The cashier asked to see her ID. She then asked why as she is never ID'd, he then offered to sell it to her saying he remembers her ikea uniform, she then replied that her uniform shouldn't dictate weather he sells as she never gets ID'd, then then for a second time refuses to sell them. Just moved to the area a few months ago, and usually bought my stuff from the 7-11 by there, that was before one of my friends that's a local, told me to go here, and now I'm a daily customer, and they have other essentials there besides liquor, such as milk butter and bread and lots of other stuff, somedays I don't feel like driving I can just walk there and get what I need, and the owners are nothing but nice to everyone. I've lived in this neighborhood for 10 years Eddie the owner is such a nice guy. Unfortunately he's left morons in charge of the store. In the last year I have gotten over charged for alcohol three times. Four months ago I completely boycotted the store and told all friends and family to go to 711 instead. I just decided to stop in last night and I could not believe I was over charged AGAIN. It was such a disappointment. They have their wine with the sticker price of $3.99. When I got two bottles for $15 you can only imagine my reaction. They said they priced the wine wrong and won't honor the sticker. I will be contacting the city. This is a classic bait and switch and it's completely illegal. The guy Danny who "manages" (and I use this term loosely) is awful. He should be replaced before Eddie ends up with more trouble than he needs. read more

Some decent sales on liquor, pretty much what you'd expect from the neighborhood liquor store. The people working there were nice enough. I live 2 minutes away from Sky Liqour and if there is anything I ever need from tissue to Tanqueray they got it! The staff is professional and courteous and always eager to help me with whatever I need. They have an amazing selection if Alcohol from local craft beers to high end liquor and spirits. These guys definitely know how to make they're guests feel like a part of the family. I'd go to Sky Liqour before I would go to 711. I feel like 711 doesn't go the extra mile or even the few extra feet to make they're customer feel welcome or help with what they need. What a difference! Now that the owner Andy is back running things, the store has really turned for the better. The store looks 100x better; cleanliness, stock, friendly faces, etc. The products are actually priced now which makes me feel like I'm not getting hustled each time like when the old manager used to guess what to charge.
