They closed all the holes in the walls (no more air coming in) where the old convectors were located; they repaired the flooring so that it looked seamless; and they installed baseboards to mask the gaps left by the new convectors, which were a slightly different size than the previous ones. (The convectors were installed by a different company, so they coordinated with them nicely). They also installed a brand-new lighting fixture on the bedroom ceiling (lots of concrete drilling involved), hung a metal shelf in the bathroom, and closed all the holes in the kitchen left by the previous contractor when the kitchen was remodeled. No more mice! Wonderful service, punctual, and would happily call again for anything else I may need.

Prep work of Brick house, with wood trim/soffits, was outstanding. (Manual scraping + power washing). Also removed downspouts, etc to paint behind them fully and reinstalled. The sharpness/precision of trim colors was excellent. Clean up was exceptional. As you can see, the kids broken a pane of glass on the window leading to the sunroom and Alex was able to replace it with a similar piece of glass without any issues. I feel like the photos speak for themselves in terms of what he can fix. He was very responsive via text and prompt with when he would arrive for taking measurements or for installing. We are a no shoes household and he noticed that right away on entry and took his shoes off so that he didn't step on our carpet with his shoes. I appreciate his attention to details like that and being respectful. The price was reasonable at 220 to repair this. There's no way I would have been able to get this done myself given the time it took. I will definitely be using Alex as my handyman from here on out.

Wilmer and his team are incredible…read more The team was detail oriented, incredible communicators, proactive and thoughtful, and cared for our home as if it was their own. For context, they painted the interior or of our entire home - walls, trim, and ceiling. The team knew how to work with high end paint and transformed a set of drab, beige, poorly textured, and banged up walls. They sanded the walls to manage the texture, worked expertly with tricky corners, managed complex work with dry wall to address dings and structural oddities. They are not just incredible painters - they are also amazing project managers and partners. The team managed our paint job while we traveled, but our furniture and floors were kept pristine (despite our 0% prep for them). When they ran out of paint (because I insisted on getting it and didn't get enough!), they reached out. When I didn't get back to them soon enough, they went to the store and perfectly matched the color, no VOC, and other specifications. Wilmer is warm, personable, proactive, and an excellent person to have on your team as a part of the work to transform your space! His team is also wonderful, expert, and easy to be around (I know, because i hired them for a second job and this time didn't leave town). Feel free to reach out to me with questions. Both jobs are stunning and worth every penny! Selvin is straight-forward and honest with his pricing and walks you through the entire job. When I asked if they were able to do something his response was "you're the boss!" Selvin's team is prompt and hard-working, showing up on time every day ready to work. I had to reschedule my flooring job with short notice for a trip out of state and they were able to squeeze me in a week earlier than originally scheduled. It was a tight schedule, only four days for the whole basement, but they were able to get the job done early! I couldn't recommend City Painters more for all of your remodeling needs! We even added in a few requests during the project. Selvin was quick to provide us with an updated and fair quote for the additional work. Jovani, our project manager, was amazing. He checked in with us every morning AND evening to explain what work was going to be done and ask any outstanding questions. He was knowledgeable in helping us make decisions and select products. The team was equally awesome. They worked so hard to get the project done on schedule, even after adding some additional items. They were very skilled but also very professional. I loved how each day they cleaned up--throwing away the trash, organizing the tools, moving items off to the side. This level of effort showed that they not only respected their work, but they respected our home. It can be hard to find a good contractor. I am so grateful that we found Selvin, Jovani, and the City Painters team. I will take them with me wherever we go and hire them for whatever project we decide to tackle next. Thank you! Thank you!
