Because if the people are humble and hard working they deserve a good piece of the pie. I respect those who work hard to make people feel welcome. So this is the deal, they didn't have any hot sandwiches at the time at their deli. But, we were really wanting some hot food not cold cut sandwiches. So we asked them if it was okay if they held on to our things that we were going to purchase while we went next door to eat. They could have said no and I believe with all my heart they had every right to say no. They were so kind said it would be no problem and they held on to our stuff till we were done eating. The company that make the best ravioli in the world is Pastosa's. I went to their website and saw they opend a bunch of stores in both NY and NJ. I had just about talked myself into an hour or more ride when I found they also sold at select retailers. Wouldn't you know Giacomo's is one of them. My car drove itsel to Giacomo's and I got a box of the large ravioli, a bag of home made meatballs, and a qusrt of homeade tomato sauce. OMG - Pastosa still make the best ravioli in the world. And Giacomo's seel the full line including a bunch of ravioli varities, stuffed shells, manicoti and more.Of course I picked up some Italian specialties along the way while there. HEAVEN! It is very busy during the day, the cashiers are by THEMSELVES, absolutely no breaks given, can hardly go the bathroom and cashiers are now expected to be up-front at all times when customers are in the store. 3. It is always hot in that store, milk is always going bad before expiration date, French fries are moldy as nothing is getting fixed. There were no prices listed on the shelves, customers complained and all the owner did was laugh and shake his head! Oh, not to mention they just mark down and continue to sell expired stuff such as food, hand sanitizer, and OTC medicine!!! Always check the expiration dates before purchasing anything off their shelves!! Their counters where the registers are is super crowded with junk, making it harder for cashiers to ring up larger orders cause most people aren't nice enough to move their stuff out of the way once it is rung up and bagged. 4. They expect way too much from their cashiers only to pay them $8/hour LITERALLY!! Cashiers don't have a say in anything, cause according to management, they are just some dumb cashiers that don't know anything despite the experience they have.. and will literally walk away from you if it pertains to the owners 'mommy' aka the SM that no customer seems to like at all.. Plus the management doesn't listen to neither their employees or customers and they wonder why they are losing BOTH customers and money. Listen to your employees, they have the experience and the skills and know what they are doing, way better than the current management of this place.
