Sales associates in store were not available or helpful. I ended up navigating our school's website on our own in-store just to figure out what we needed. The pants style we wanted wasn't available in store but, we were told we could place an order and would receive it at home within a week. It has now been four weeks, and only after we reached out multiple times were we informed that the item is out of stock and wouldn't ship until it became available. no clear date no confirmation, my son start school in a week now and we have not pants. Had we known that at the time of purchase, we would have chosen a different style as a backup. Additionally, customer service over the phone has been extremely unhelpful. No one takes ownership of the issue, and we were repeatedly pushed to handle everything online. At this point, we are extremely frustrated and disappointed with the lack of communication and support. I hope our school considers working with a different uniform provider in the future. read more

The ones that checks you out are rude...they need to be nicer to the customers. If you have a try on...you have to ask for another pair to check out...and then they make you go back in line after you made it to the register from being in a long ass line. They need more school uniform shops...and nicer workers. read more

Selection is amazing. We have four kids that go to four different schools and we were able to find everything we needed. Store is very well organized and the staff is always pleasant and helpful. One of the staff members (Jener or Jenner) went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. All the uniforms were high quality and prices were great. A must place to shop for all your school uniform needs. read more

Website doesn't make it clear that the $25 fee to reserve an appointment time is not credited toward purchase. It's for the privilege of scheduling an appointment. Which was useless. They had no skirts or shorts for my kid's school. The website shows skirts and shorts as being available, I found out in store that they are no longer accepting shipments from the skirt manufacturer. They also let me buy the wrong shirt. White polo isn't uniform for middle school. The person who helped me was great, but she didn't seem to know stock & school requirements, which is management's fault. Waste of time and money! read more

The service here is horrible the lines are outrageous I don't understand how they make the shirts upon ordering if you all know when school starts why not have a few dozen shirts in different sizes already made I'm sure they're aware that the shirts will be sold. This is absolutely ridiculous how long you have to wait to get in the store to order and how long you have to wait for your order and it's even worse how even if ordered online they don't allow you to pick up next day or any time during the week you have to wait until Saturday to get your kids school shirts. Highly disappointed. read more

Whatever you do, do not order online! It's been 2 weeks and still no update on shipment! School has started and had to go out and buy MORE school shirts being the ones order from Skobel's were not delivered in time and still have not received in the mail. Order was placed a week ahead after speaking with a sales associate in the store guaranteeing order would be received in time for first day of school. Customer service is HORRIBLE! Tried to get update on online order through live chat & Connie refused to give me an update on my individual order, only receiving general shipment and processing information. Called store multiple times with no answer or answers and hangs up with no response. read more

I walk in and look around only to find that they don't have what I need in the right size, no problem school is about to start. So I stand in the long checkout line to wait my turn, while holding my autistic daughter because she was overstimulated and while my ankle is sprained. I wait patiently, it hurts but they can't help that they are busy. As soon as I get to a cash register I have a very nice cashier ask me what she can help me with, I tell her the school shirts I need, only to have some man that works there tell me and announce loud enough for the whole store to hear that they have them but that I would need to wait in line like everyone else, like I hadn't already done it, like I wasn't already in pain from doing so. I informed him that I already had waited in the line, but the damage was already done, thanks for making a stressful situation even worse for someone, you don't know what people go through so you should always treat them with kindnesses, I didn't do anything wrong and should not have been treated that way. If I didn't absolutely need the shirts you best believe I wouldn't have ordered them and I will for sure never be back!! Some of the worst customer service I have personally ever dealt with. read more

Called SKobel's Uniform store on Stump Blvd. A guy answered in a tired voice, he said my phone was breaking up. My phone was fine a minute ago! He hangs up the phone on me shortly after he said my order can be checked online! I don't recommend this store to anyone especially if you are placing an order! They need to work on the customer service. So far I have had two bad experiences. Last year and this year. NO surprises. I decided to write an review this year! This is why I only go there once a year. Other store is too far but better. Don't place anything in order or online from store on Stump Blvd. Your order won't come in on time. Order will be here just before the school open! Ordered two weeks ago, Crazy! How long do I need to wait? read more

I had the worst experience here that ruined my senior year before it even started. I ordered my senior shirt with my name embroidered on July 21 and today (August 9 aka the day before school starts) it STILL has not come in. I asked my friends about their shirts that they got from Skobel's. They had just ordered theirs this last Saturday and their shirts came in yesterday. What is up with that Skobel's?!? I would've been more understanding if they had bought theirs straight over the counter but they got it embroidered and it came in before my shirts which I had ordered almost 3 weeks ago. I even went into the store today to see if the shirts had come in without them texting me (they said they would text me when the shirts came in). Nope, my preordered shirts were still not here and the first day of my final year of high school is going to be a sad day when I have to go to school without being able to flaunt my new senior status. Another friend of mine even had a faulty shirt sold to them with words missing. Even though I won't be coming back here for uniforms anymore, I am sure that my family will never come back either. read more

We were able to park right in front of the building, and upon entering we were helped right away. There weren't many folks there, so we didn't have to wait. A very sweet employee asked what we needed, retrieved the blouses, and we were checked out and on our way. It literally took about 10 minutes. The store itself is dated and feels a little dingy inside, but the employees were all helpful and efficient, and they actually carry my daughter's uniforms. They're much closer to our home than the shop I've been using for years, so for convenience sake, I'll probably return to Schumacher's in the future for uniform needs. A truly great find.
