The whole way through, it was clear that I was getting a high end product with a high end support team. The cabinets are beautifully made and have really nice details. Plus there are additional "built-ins" that can be selected, included a great looking silverware drawer and wine storage area. The SoHo showroom manager Geneviève was a constant throughout the project. Geneviève. smoothed out communication between the Scavolini designer and my designer, and provided continuity when the Scavolini project manager changed mid-project (over the course of the pandemic) Geneviève responded to e-mails promptly and thoroughly. When there was a problem with the panel for my dishwasher, Geneviève. contacted the dishwasher manufacturer directly and resolved it. She ordered the needed part and had her installation team come and make the change. I can not overstate how much I appreciated not having to be in the middle of this.

They won't return phone calls, emails, texts, or any other forms of communication. Three of the panels arrived from the factory in Italy in a different shade than the others. This happens so often, they have someone in the US that repaints panels. For some reason he doesn't even have the paint from the factory. He has to try to eye match the correct color. In my case, he got it wrong and it had to be re-done AGAIN. On top of all of this, the surface SCRATCHES VERY EASILY. Believe all the bad reviews. I wish I had.

A+ Experience with Jeff and Super Stone…read more This was my third kitchen project with Super Stone, and once again, Jeff and his team delivered outstanding results. Jeff was patient, full of great design ideas, and made the whole process easy. We live in a 100-year-old Harlem townhouse, so nothing is square--but the crew took their time with the template and made sure everything fit perfectly. On install day, it was like watching a knife go through butter--smooth and seamless! Jeff also helped with stone updates around two fireplaces, and even found beautiful remnant pieces that worked perfectly. The whole team was punctual, professional, and very responsive throughout. I Highly recommend Super Stone for any stonework project. This is a Renata Approved business with an A+ rating!

Owner's response to SG's review,…read more SG has had reason to distrust contractors prior to contracting with us. Hence his overreaction. I will not judge harshly for his comments for he has been burned. For the record, he has been refunded not only his 1600 deposit, but an additional 100.00, which I volunteered to pay for his trouble. No court filing required. Fact is I was dealing with severe health issues that led to the delay of his work. Furthermore, in our 32 years in operation, there have been zero complaints filed with BBB or Consumer Affairs. If you research the stats, you'll find only a small slither of small business can say that. We have made the corrective measures to this situation, and toward any future incidents. But that was more than 5 years ago and things seem to have gone very wrong since then. I had someone out to give an estimate for the replacement of two windows and a door. Not complicated. I didn't hear from them for 6 weeks. I then called and was told they were backed up and they would get it to me the next day. They didn't. I called again and got it a week later. The estimate was completely wrong. For one thing, it was for French doors instead of a single door. I don't understand how they could get that so wrong when an appraiser came out in person. I wrote back to tell them what was incorrect and to politely express disappointment. I received no reply at all. I'm done with them.
