It's been almost a year now and the quality of the work is excellent - zero issues with any of it which is a major relief. The detail work he did is stellar - I am still noticing things he took care of without us having to ask. He worked really quickly too which was helpful since the epicenter of our home was completely torn apart. He ALSO found and fixed some MAJOR problems without adding very much to the over all cost of the project which was very, very kind, something most other contractors would have taken advantage of. The last thing I will say is that the weekend before we were set to start the renovation, I severely broke my ankle. I was sending notes and sketches to Cole from my hospital bed and he was unbelievably patient, kind, and open to whatever we wanted to do and made sure he had what we wanted just right. He was easy to work with and made sure we were happy with every single decision. He also gave us great advice when we were considering a bad choice for materials or design. I seriously cannot recommend him enough, Cole is a great contractor, does excellent and HONEST work. The man did not remove firebricks when cleaning the stove, the flue pipe came loose when doing chimney. I asked them to check the pipe, since it has been a problem before. He said the pipe was fine. Angelo charged me 30 % more than than the previous year, and no senior discount. Two weeks later, I can't close the draft, it was clogged with ashes; then I saw flames coming out of the flue pipe where the pipes are connected. So, the man did not check it as I asked. Angelo's service seems to be going downhill.

Bob recently did a LOT of work on my nearly century old house - and it all turned out great! I…read morewanted to replace the original single pane wooden windows with essentially exact replicas and to reuse the original stained trim. It turned out that this was a VERY challenging ask... Bob helped find a dealer who could make and factory finish the windows to the required dimensions and then work with me on fitting most of the old trim to the new windows. It was a painstaking task, especially as the old stools needed to be replaced and Bob had to come up with a clever method for securely attaching the new stools to the windows such that they blended with the existing trim. He also had to create new trim for one window and try to match it to the others. They all came out great, and I realized that I never could have gotten the same result if I had tried to work with a "traditional" window installer - it required more time, patience, and attention to detail than they would have offered. Bob also paid attention to details that don't show, like insulating the area around the windows - another thing I would not have gotten from a traditional window installer. I am thrilled with my 27 new windows! In addition to the windows, Bob also replaced my roof (including fixing many issues that the last roofer just covered up) and identified issues with my chimney, which he also fixed. My house is now in much better shape that it was a year ago. I highly recommend Bob for all of your home projects - he cares about the quality of his work and will work with you to get the results that you are looking for.

Moreover I had to go out of town the next four days. JRM LLC took my phone call when I was out of town and went to the house immediately to make an estimate. They clearly explained what had to be done and why. The next day they had a crew there doing an emergency job. The rate charged was fair. Contacted cws for a tub removal and replace with shower surround, gave me a quote and I went to the…read morebank and got his 60%. Told me it would take 3 days and it took almost 2 months. He did not put moisture barrier or level the shower base. He failed to measure the walls and check for square and one wall was 1 1/2 '' out of square. After installing the shower door frame the door had an 1 1/2'' gap at the top. His idea was to put a wedge in the gap when he should have squared the to begin with. I said that's not gonna work and his answer was what do you want me to do. I said fix it and he couldn't and he left and never came back. Took him to court and he never showed.
