Admitted it was his fault and would come back to fix. upon further inspection found paint spills on wood floor, improper cut ins.,. paint drips around window frames, paint on finished ceiling tiles . we called a number of times and they refused to give us the courtesy of a return call. We have now spent 4 days doing repairs that should have been finished by them. capable of basic work but not detail work.

Instead of a regular crew, this guy apparently picks up 'day workers' here and there. The guys he brought with him looked like a bunch of ex-cons, drunks and other questionable characters. They were rude and hostile to us, no matter how kind we were to them. These untrained workers wound up making a mess of my 100-year-old Victorian: First off, they didn't bother to scrape any of the old, loose paint off first, so naturally, the paint they slapped over it began peeling within a year. There were areas where paint was applied so thinly that you could see the old paint color below. In other places, they left large spots totally unpainted (a roofer brought this to our attention months later). These slobs threw things all over the place, carelessly stepped on objects and broke them, etc. The entire job was chaotic mess! Kellogg himself is very argumentative person, defending his inept men and their sloppy work. Any time we'd point out something his guys were doing wrong - rather than acknowledging and correcting it - he'd start an argument with us instead! It was an extremely unpleasant and frustrating situation all around. The finished product was a mediocre paint job that required us to hire another painter just to come and do remedial repairs and touching-up on the mess Kellogg and his crew left us with. I will never deal with this unprofessional "painter" and his unskilled workers again.

He requested 20% downpayment via 'cash app' or Venmo, which we provided to secure his commitment. He then blew the first two beautiful days, neither showing nor communicating to reset expectations. Eventually texted, "don't worry, I'll get it done." The third day he burns the entire morning buying supplies, and demands additional 25% Venmo to purchase. Arrives after noon, and leaves at 4pm, demanding half the job's payment in cash. After I provide payment, he says he'll be onsite at 8am. The forth day, Nick and his 'crew,' which consist of his female partner and brother don't show up until after 11am. They are a complete wreck, spilling a 5gal bucket of paint water in my house, through a whirlwind of disorganized chaos. The partner throws a tantrum, drives off the property to go home, only to return minutes later and proceed to sleep in the vehicle for the next two hours. At the end of another partial day of poor quality painting, not one single side of the house is done. The job is not even 25% finished, and I've paid this guy over $6k via Venmo. There's one last gorgeous day before winter is coming on the sixth day. Nick assures me he's fast, will get it done, and will be back at 8am. On the fifth day, Nick doesn't show, doesn't answer texts or calls. I'm left responsible for all the mess he's left, and equipment laying all over my lawn and throughout my basement. It took two truck runs for me to return his property, escorted by Cairo PD. Nick never answered the door, pulled his equipment inside while nobody was around, and has still yet to reply to any messages. There are police reports, I have witnesses willing to testify, and records of all the above. My advice is to not engage with this wrecking ball of a 'business.'

The man did not remove firebricks when cleaning the stove, the flue pipe came loose when doing chimney. I asked them to check the pipe, since it has been a problem before. He said the pipe was fine. Angelo charged me 30 % more than than the previous year, and no senior discount. Two weeks later, I can't close the draft, it was clogged with ashes; then I saw flames coming out of the flue pipe where the pipes are connected. So, the man did not check it as I asked. Angelo's service seems to be going downhill.
