Considering that I was originally looking into getting Cool Sculpting first, I have to admit that I am more than happy that I made the decision to try out this new innovation first! A couple of days ago, I decided to purchase a package and got scheduled to see Dr. Salyer right away. After going in, I was greeted with hospitality and spent 20 min lying down under the LED light. I bought a Groupon with them right before the pandemic. When I was about to use it we had the lockdowns. They told me they would open it and that way I could use it in the future. A couple years went by because of the lockdowns and Covid, and I contacted them about using it finally and got no response. I ended up buying another Groupon because it was the only one available and I wanted to lose some weight on my legs. I went in and was put on some kind of a machine under a blanket with red lights. The ad said laser Lipo, which is done with a machine that targets specific areas. When I ask him why I didn't get the laser Lipo he said he didn't have enough staff. He then sold me an alkaline water pitcher for $55. When I got home I looked it up on Amazon and you can get them for around 30. He also sold me a supplement for candida and then told me to go home and do a test. When I did the test at home it showed I did not have candida. I would avoid this place if I were you. read more

Completely unprofessional. When I requested a refund because of the 10 sessions I purchased I only completed one, I was refused and they actually lied to the credit card company and told the, I received all the sessions (since I was in a different state when they said I received them, I'm really confident I didn't ). I purchased the diet program for $1600, most of the cost is based on providing me with a service for coaching/monitoring me while on the diet program. Their service was lacking, at best. I complained verbally at the office once - you would think that would've snapped them into some action, but it didn't. When I asked for my money back on the service, they refused. I feel that I'm being completely reasonable as I'm not asking for a refund on the products that were consumed - just on the service that they did not provide. WOW!!! I am in shock after reading all of these negative reviews by individuals that obviously didn't follow the program and/or didn't even give it a chance. The first time that I had met any of them was yesterday (4/28) at my first visit. They were all three very knowledgeable and professional regarding the products and the systems behind the Skinny Beam Program. In fact, I wrote this because I was very upset with the unbelievable bashing they all took when I just experienced the total opposite. What's wrong with people!! The office manager Mikelti (sp) was awesome from the time that I booked my appointment last week until I went in to meet with Dr. Don at the end of my first visit. She walked me through every step of the way and for those of you that say that this program doesn't work just stop and take another look at her and I rest my case. With Mikelti's (sp) participation and knowledge of the program she is a major asset to the company!!! I will admit, at first, I was a little bit shocked at the total cost for everything. But, with that said, I never once felt pressured to buy everything that Dr. Don recommended to me for my individual program. Dr. Don is obviously very knowledgeable in this industry and spent over an hour and a half in our meeting answering my questions and concerns regarding Skinny Beam's program. Finally I met with his office guy at check out and he was also very knowledgeable with the products and the Skinny Beam program (sorry I didn't catch his name). He seems to be a very nice and kind person though on first impressions. In closing, I also bought the Groupon 10 session package at Christmas time and had absolutely "NO" problems in booking my first visit. I went it for my free consultation and felt pressured into buying the products. I'm disappointed in the products and felt it was waste of $200 on supplements plus $150 for the sessions I purchased. Total of $350 wasted!!! Plus I don't think there is a refund either so I strongly encourage people to save their money and go to a place that actually backs their products up. I guess they were tired of losing money on product that didn't work they way they said it would. I was lied to by the side kick of the so called doctor. He was so unprofessional during a phone call that he hung up on me. Seemed that I was talking to an unruly teenager. All the products they sold me cause me migraine headaches. Been working with the team at Skinny Beam for just over 3 weeks. These guys are incredible. I am not using the Skinny Beam myself, however my wife is, and she loves the results. I started the program on March 4th and so far I'm very happy with results because it does work as long as you drink the water, stick with the diet, and take the supplements. On my first visit You get a lipo laser treatment and a consultation with Dr. Salyer. I met the staff while I was there and they were professional, efficient, and friendly. The business Manager, Mikelti, is very helpful in setting up the lipo-laser procedure and answer questions. My consultation was okay except for the price was a sticker shock!! I asked what that covered and could I have an itemized invoice? I was told it would be too hard to itemize the supplements and the hours of professional service. I didn't pursue the issue because I was in shock with the price Later when I was reading some of the reviews, which I should have done before I went, I found that a lot of patients were charged a lot less. I have tried several different lipo laser treatment centers in Austin, and my experience is that Skinny Beam gets the best results BY FAR. I believe it is because their machine is much more powerful than other machines in town. I am particularly pleased with the belly fat that I have lost after a few treatments. I have been going to Skinny Beam for a few months now. I love the benefits of LED red light therapy. My sessions are extremely relaxing and I get a "feel good all over" from the session. My first visit, I lost 7 inches. I have continued to lose. My daughter had sessions for her acne. Those sessions helped start the healing process of adult acne. Worst service ever and Dr. Don is just as pushy as a car sales man. During my consult I showed and informed Dr. Don that my skin is very sensitive and I can not use many products on my skin. Despite what I said he still pushed his creams on me which came out to be 400$ worth. Then when I expressed to Ann, the receptionist, that I had broken out in several sever rashes, she stated that she would contact the doctor and get back to me....well she never did and I asked multiple times. Then after calling several times and leaving several messages, I finally called one more time and spoke to Katie about canceling my membership because of the following reasons..1. I had an unlimited membership but could never get a session time because they where always booked 2. I haven't seen any difference in loss 3. I had my first consultation yesterday. The office staff was friendly, and very willing to accommodate several past reschedules due to a hectic schedule without any cancellation fee or loss of session (bought a package from Groupon). One of the female staff members measured me before my first laser session, which lasted about 18 minutes (I did the body and facial treatments). They provide a face cover and eye protectors (what you would use in a tanning bed), and play relaxing music while you go through the process. She took measurements again afterwards, I didn't see drastic loss of inches but I did lose a few overall! I also know that it takes time, like everything when you want long term results, and must be combined with healthy eating and exercise to get the most out of it. I then got on a vibrating exercise machine for 10 minutes, and it honestly did feel like I got a bit of a workout on my muscles. I then met with Dr Don, who reviewed my initial health inventory and was able to pinpoint why a. My energy has been so low and b. Could speak in detail as to why I was having the issues I have had for awhile. I haven't felt the level of relief in awhile, and after having other doctors and tests show that "nothing was wrong" I actually felt heard. He laid out the different options that they offer, and was adamant that he would work with me to reach my health and weight goals quickly, while also providing a detailed explanation of the supplements and plan. I chose to start with the supplements and see how they work, I am unsure why people are saying he was pushy and nasty as that was the opposite of my experience with him. Buyer beware. I had the same experience as a previous reviewer, where they wouldn't give me my first appointment for more than 3 months. They rarely answer their phones, and I only heard back from them after I called Groupon to try and get my money back. That got their attention. I went to my consultation today, and got a bad feeling when I read the paperwork they asked me to sign. You have to agree to buy their pills and supplements: SUPER SHADY. Also, in the fine print it says you need a minimum of 19 treatments to see results. My groupon was only for 5 treatments. Seems like bait and switch to me. The paperwork also said you should cut down on carbs and fat and exercise every day as "part of the treatment". Well DUH, of course you will lose weight if you do all that! As I waited to see the doctor, I could hear him talking to another patient in the next room. I heard him ask her how she wanted to pay for her supplements, and I heard him say something about it being $395 and she could pay up front or in installments. It sounded like he was pressuring her to pay up front. My bad feeling got worse, so I took my paperwork and left. NO ONE called me to ask why I left. What kind of doctor acts like that? I also found it shady that they didn't have the business name on the sign in front of the building, just the dr's name.
