Pretty mad about the fact that I came in for half a syringe (~$350) of lip filler but got upsold on a full syringe (~$700). However, after the nurse was finished ( which was also incredibly painful. Idk what numbing cream they use but it did nothing), i looked over at the syringe on the counter and realized she had barely even used half off it!! No explanation, nothing. I go to pay and they charge me for the full syringe, to which i tell the lady that rhe nurse did NOT in facet use a full syringe. The receptionist lady went to the room for a quick second, came back and said it's gonna be full price because its a full syringe. As in, the full syringe was opened, so regardless of the fact if she used the whole thing or only a quarter, you still pay full price. Such bs. Here's the thing - I'm pretty picky and did a ton of research before choosing where to go. From day one, Celty has been everything you want in someone doing this kind of treatment. She's super knowledgeable about the equipment and process, but more importantly, she's genuinely caring and honest (like, hormonal spots such as underarms can get a little stubborn at first). I bought a few groupons for their laser hair removal sessions. I scheduled on groupon but unfortunately could not make it and had to reschedule. Unfortunately, when I showed up for my rescheduled appointment after a 55 min drive, they told me the nurse was not available for another 90 minutes and they tried to contact me but they inputted the wrong number so I was not able to be notified. On groupon, they require both my email and phone number to set the appointment so I was perplexed they did not try to contact me through that set of information as most people would be unhappy to show up for services they will not be receiving. read more

I decided to try this place out because of a Groupon offer for new clients to get 20 units of Xeomin. The nurse who was administering it to me upsold me on 10 extra units. She told me that I could get the same offer as the Groupon so I said yes. After the work was done and I went to pay, I was told that that offer was not available and that a different, more expensive offer was. I couldn't really turn down the work at this point since it had already been done, so I just paid the regular price. I left with a bad taste in my mouth about the whole bait and switch situation. When I got home, I called back and talked to the manager. She confirmed that the nurse was incorrect and she apologized, but took no further action. I just wanted her to honor the offer that was told to me and give me a refund of the difference, but she refused and just kept saying sorry. Well, sorry doesn't mean anything when someone wrongs you if they take no actions to rectify the situation. It's just meaningless words. Advice to new customers: go somewhere where they care about your business and try to keep you coming back, rather than clinging to every dollar short-sightedly. read more

GRanted I came with a discount coupon from Groupon, however after charging me an additional price (dobled the cost) for a additional injection , as they said the first round did not have enoughto do the job. I chose Skinlastiq based on the good reviews and how close it was to my work. It was a little difficult to schedule an appointment via email, as they were very vague and took a while to respond. After a few back and forth emails, I was able to schedule an appointment for dark spot removal 3 weeks later. They told me that they could do the consultation and laser session all in one appointment and that it would cost $200 per treatment and take 45min-1hr. I agreed to this and scheduled to have the appointment during my lunch hour. When I arrived at my appointment, the nurse didn't even ask what part of my face I wanted dark spots removed and proceeded to examine my entire face. Then, over the next 45 minutes, she proceeded to take out brochures, diagrams, and binders to "teach" me about the importance of sunscreen, exfoliation, and how dark spots originate. All the while having me test out different sunscreen products that they have for sale. This was definitely NOT what I came in for and felt like a complete waste of my time. I wanted to learn about the effectiveness of laser treatment for dark spots, NOT purchase your sunscreen and exfoliating products. After making it clear that I wanted to do the laser in the same day. The nurse was VERY hesitant and seemed like she didn't want to perform the procedure because she was "unsure that it would work" and that it would take multiple sessions. I was already aware of this when I scheduled an appointment. After more hesitation, she finally decided to use the laser meant for IPLs, because she said the other laser would take too long to heat up. At this point, I just wanted to get out of there and head back to work so we did four quick zaps. She said she was going to charge me $80 for the laser and then $30 for the sunscreen and $40 for the exfoliator. She had the nerve to add on the products in my total price without even asking if I wanted to purchase them - which I had never intended to do. I ended up just purchasing the sunscreen because I needed to get out of there ASAP. As for the laser treatment, it did lighten up my dark spots a little so it was slightly effective, but I will not be coming back to Skinlastiq for a second treatment due to my disappointing first experience with the staff. I suggest they listen to what their patients want and not force them to purchase products by automatically adding them to their bill. Unacceptable! read more

DO NOT go to this place!! I fell for the trap of the $10.99 Xeomin!! First off, Sophia the NP doesn't speak English very well. She then examined by face by just looking at me (not under a mag lamp) and proceeded to say I needed 26 units, I was like "you're crazy"! I've been getting injections for years and have NEVER done more than 14 at any given time. Moving forward to the actual injections, it was the most painful experience I've ever had, and trust me, I know how injections feel with more experienced NPs. It was so bad that I actually told her to stop and when I saw that she double dipped my needle into the bottle of Xeomin I really freaked out and immediately jumped off her table. I'm pretty sure that this practice is called "cross contamination" and is illegal! I've got a call into the Board Cosmetology to discuss their business practices! So I came here about 2 years ago to get a mole removed. The whole procedure was really straight forward and the lady who did it claimed it would heal into "the most beautiful scar". Well... after the procedure I looked and swear I could swear I still see a little of the mole... after it healed I can confirm that part of the mole is still there. SHE MISSED! She didn't cut the hole big enough. Now I have this half moon shaped mole on my face and an ugly scar because the her stitch work was too loose and the wound open back up. Last time I went there was last year. I went to this spa for laser hair removal. Two parts of skin on my legs burnt and the skin is still discolorated. I told the team a few times about it and all they said was: "it will go away" or "you should use some cream on it" and on my last visit when I asked the receptionist about the cream, not only they did not provide it to me, but also she said they dont have that and I should go buy it. No apologies. No professional consult. No care. Nothing. That is why I never went back to this spa. I just saw my skin today and remembered how I wasted my time and money to get my skin burnt.
