Came here for a lash lift in December before going on my trip to Thailand. I was so excited to get this service done as I was too scared to get lash extensions so thought that this would be the best alternative for me. The pros-the owner is super sweet and she makes you feel relaxed and comfortable during the process. Cons-my lashes looked terrible. They were curled so inward theist they looked "bent" rather than "curled." And one eye was worse than the other. I usually wear eyeshadow and a wing eyeliner and this lash curl was so bad it made it impossible to apply any makeup to the lid of my eye. Unfortunately I left for Thailand for the next couple weeks and kind of just dealt with the aftermath. It lasts about 6-8 weeks so they looked terrible for that duration. I wish I had a picture to post of them but don't. Wish I could say I would come back here again but I definitely won't. And now I have a fear of a future lash lift or extensions. read more

Such a great find, I searched online for dermaplane and was overwhelmed by the options. Some were super sketch, others were in a dermatologist setting...neither of which I wanted. I found Celeste skin spa and loved that it was close to my house and the reviews were all great. The location is awesome, right by the Division blue line in the back of a mixed commercial building. The room is clean and contemporary and VERY quiet. It is NOT a bedroom, or weird side room in a salon or basement. The music selection was also right up my alley, a mix of hip-hop and chill. Price~~excellent~~company fantastic! My dermaplane and extraction was on point along with a collagen mask...I was in and out in under 1.5 hours. Sooooo happy I've found my skin spot in Wicker Park because I am NOT going downtown every again :) Can't wait to book again for the eyelash curling! read more
