I really love the work Kimberlee does. I feel she is highly talented, extremely qualified, and a perfectionist to boot. In this line of work (permanent makeup, particularly) those things are crucial and she exemplifies all of those qualities. She's kind and lovely and easy to talk to, which makes a not so pleasant "procedure" much more pleasant. My only hesitation in giving 5 stars is that every time I've seen her I've been told or quoted different things. The amount I saw on her website, and expected to pay, was different than what I was charged. I'd just happened to check back online for the pre-procedure steps and saw the price had increased. I was a little disappointed that between the time I booked my appointment and the week before I was scheduled to go in, the price had gone up and I had to pay the increase. At my first appointment, we discussed a few different options for the 6 week touch up, none of which, in her words, were any more work, time, or cost, but when I went to the touch up, I was basically told that those options were more time, work, and eventually cost. I'm not really sure what that's about but if you feel so inclined, maybe confirm the price when you book your appointment and pay your deposit. I understand people raise their prices! Kimberlee is an amazing permanent makeup artist and she can and should raise her prices! But I was caught off guard. Make sure you're both on the same page with regards to your follow up appointments. Clearly she and I were not. I felt like I had had a conversation with a different person because so much of what she told me had changed. Overall, Kimberlee's work speaks for itself. She does an amazing job. Kimberlee is so sweet and so good at what she does! She will make you feel comfortable from the moment you meet her--Once you are on her table she makes sure she takes time and extra care to make sure her work is perfect. I was her very first client to get permanent eyeliner with her new digital rotary pen and I love it! I made an appointment at Bare Face Artistry with Kimberlee Hummel to do Micro blading on my eyebrows. After 4 weeks of the first session my eyebrows didn't look right to me and I told her I didn't like the way my eyebrows looked. She told me in time they would look beautiful. They were anything but beautiful. She did not follow my natural eyebrow line. She went way above my eyebrow line and they didn't look natural and they are extremely blotchy. I called her and told her I was unhappy with the way they looked. She never offered to fix them so they would look decent or offer to give any of my money back. Unprofessional and Rude. I was on a mission to find a decent-someone I can trust to work on my eyebrows after they were done poorly by two other people. So you can only imagine how nervous I was looking for a professional to do them for the third time. Before I moved to Utah I did several months of research and found Kimberly on Yelp. Given she had really good reviews I gave her a try and schedule a paid consultation, which was $50. On the day of my appointment, I punched in the address given to me by the confirmation email. The GPS said it would take me about 16 minutes to get to her, however, there was a major accident and traffic was backed up (accidents happens) I gave her a ring at 5:45 (which was the time of my appt.) to let her know that I was basically there but lost bc the GPS had taken me down further. I tried asking her if she knew of these landmarks that were near but she was not able to help and said to punch it in the GPS. She sounded short on the phone but I figured she really wanted to get the appointment going and I felt really bad that I was running late bc of the accident (which I hope the people are ok) and getting lost (bc I just moved to Utah) She soon called me when I pulled into the parking lot and I told her I was on my way in. When I got there, I walked in, she was wrapping up with closing up for the day with trash bags in hand. I was not greeted and she was basically in a hurry to get me out of there. I didn't even get a handshake or introduction or greeting of any sort, she basically said to me " I literally have 3 minutes and I have somewhere to be" I said to her " I'm sorry that I was late (not my fault) and asked if she would like to reschedule the consultation to another day if she's in a hurry. I really didn't want to feel rushed since this is the 3rd time getting my eyebrows done and hoping she was going to be able to fix them. She said to me " We can reschedule but I'll have to charge you another $50 because I am very busy with back to back appointments" I get it, you are busy but what about being professional and not rude to your clients? She was not understanding at all and I wasn't expecting her to be at this point. She mentioned again " I can spare a few more minutes for you if you would like to take off your makeup so I can have a look" I told her that I didn't trust her at that point and did not feel comfortable for her to work on my brows. You have to have trust on someone that's doing something so permanent to your face that you have to look at everyday. I've never felt so unwelcomed in my life and I just couldn't believe how unprofessional she was. It just amazes me how she was NOT willing to work with me at all, I didn't even ask for a refund for my consultation but she made it clear if you don't take this 3 minutes that I have or I'll have to charge you another $50 to get on the books. I know she has a lot of great reviews but I think others consumers should know if you are late , even 1 minute she's not going to work with you. 0 Stars! Kimberlee seemed nice the first appointment I had with her but then it all went downhill. I tried to call and schedule a touch up- her assistant was VERY rude and unprofessional in every way possible!!!! She was not accommodating and pretty much told me to TEXT her when I figured it out. I couldn't see their calendar and I didn't know what her availability was- how was I supposed to 'figure it out' Then my second appointment with Kimberlee- her whole demeanor changed. She was no longer the sweet nice old lady that had first worked on my face.... I was 4 minutes late----- she was very rude, and kept it up the WHOLE time. I understand the importance of being on time, but shit- sometimes traffic happens and I could not control that. She didn't get over the fact that I was late even half way through the appointment. I understand if I was 15 minutes late. But sheesh- this lady doesn't even work until 6 pm and she was upset she was going to get out five minutes late so her workout and dinners would have to wait five whole minutes!!!! She never apologized for treating me this way- just took my money, hurried through the appointment, said bye, and lastly made another comment about being late. Her next appointment wasn't even there yet!!!! I was pretty pissed the whole time but I couldn't say anything as she is holding a needle on my face. But Long story short- you shouldn't treat customers this way. Nor should the lady answering your phone while you are out of town!!! No matter what time you get home to your dinner, or how annoyed your receptionist is. Even if you are upset- you should get over it and still treat your customers with the up most respect!!! As I Read other reviews seems you have quite a few angry customers.... and again you aren't very nice. I know in the skin care business, things are expensive and you can get by with only a few clients- but you are putting out a pretty bad vibe to a lot of us. Kimberlee at Skin Spa is a miracle worker. Before I started working with her, I thought my acne and discoloration was beyond hope. After only a month, my acne was gone, and we were able to start using Microneedling and peels to reduce scarring and melasma. I dealt with moderate acne for a long time. I had tried everything in this planet to get rid of it but nothing worked. After I moved to SLC my skin started to react to the dry weather and my chin area was out of control. But Kimberlee answered all my questions, spent a long time making sure I was comfortable with the plan, and picking out the proper shade. She is very professional and a true artist. Although I saw results with my acne I am giving one star. Unprofessional service due to my confidentiality contract being broken. I spent nearly a thousand dollars here only to overhear the aesthetician gossiping about me to another client in session through the door as I was looking for more products to purchase. I have now chosen a dermatologist that is trustworthy. I was already struggling with acne and didn't need stress from the person I was paying to help me. I would see a dermatologist over this "spa" if you already plan on spending hundreds for acne treatments and peels. After this happened I was too hurt to speak to the specialist and had my friend call. The aesthetician admitted to breaking contract and stated that she had spoken to another specialist about my skin! However, the person coming out of the session had a fresh facial and was clearly not the only other one aesthetician there. I am sure kimberlee will have a response but at the end of the day I was the paying client, this was my experience and I am very dissappinted! read more

Ive struggled with acne since 6th grade and tried numerous things from natural remedies to proactiv and nothing worked for me. I had every type of pimple you can imagine.
