Michelle is amazing! I'm a novice at skin care, Michelle took me in, educated me, and we've done a few bundles and procedures that were easy peasy and my skin is looking and feeling soooo much better. I went there to get lashes done for the first time ever and fell in love with this place. Everything is spotless and professional, friendly, and relaxing (other places are too "stuffy"). Went in to get a lash lift sometime in late August, and it was burning my eyes, especially my right, so bad I couldn't stand it. So she gave me a fan. After I left the appointment I was driving home and had to pull over because I started freaking out. My right eye's eyelashes were so over curled and they were curling up into themselves. I tried adding water and uncurling them, but they just kept curling up. My right eye finally starting looking somewhat normal finally around late October. Don't recommend. read more

I've been wanting to go to this salon because it's nearby (5 min. away) and has great reviews on Yelp. When I saw they did eyelash extensions and lifts, I decided to give them a call. I called Friday morning 1/29 to ask about their eyelash lift. The owner, Michelle, picked up and was incredibly helpful. I've never had ANY service done to my lashes before, all I know is that I wanted long curly lashes so I inquired about their lash lift and lash extensions. (You see, I thought to get curly lashes I had to have a lift and then extensions applied.) Michelle, nicely explained that I didn't need to have a lift in order for my lashes to curl with extensions. She then called the office had me booked for an hour later! This was fantastic considering it showed on Yelp that they were booked out for days. She was also up front about a 20% discount for first time clients, which I did use at my appointment. The experience went really well. I showed up and Lauren (who did my lashes) was already expecting me. I signed tons of forms/waivers (ok maybe 5 pages worth) and then went to the back. She applied soothing undereye pads and taped my lower lashes down. I'm pretty chatty, so we talked for 90% of the entire session, which lasted about 2 hours. There was pop music in the background. When I was done, she let me admire my lashes, gave me an after-care sheet, and a lash brush. Overall, it was good first time experience. I'm super happy with the results and I do expect to go back in 2 weeks for a fill. I found this wonderful studio in Yelp. The staff here is so nice and very professional. This studio offers so many things to help you feel beautiful. Some of their services are. Facials (many different types of facials). Microdermabrasion, lash extensions, skin rejuvenation, massages, micro blading and many more services. Just know this is a full beauty and body studio. They customize their services for you the client. Their prices are very reasonable. First time clients get a 20% discount. I didn't know about this until I went to pay so it was a nice treat. I saw Michelle for my facial and I absolutely loved it! I originally booked a microdermabrasion facial but after evaluating my skin, she suggested that the maskne facial with Blue Led Light would be more beneficial for me. I did like the microdermabrasion though to get rid of dead skin cells. The Blue Led Light was great for soothing my inflammation and killing off acne bacteria. There was construction going on next door because Crumbl is opening up but the lady at the front desk gave me a future coupon to use for a free cookie which I thought was really nice. It didn't bother me once I was in the room with some music on. I was so comfortable in the bed that I fell asleep for a little while. Michelle is great at what she does because I got complimented on how great my skin looked afterwards! And honestly the prices here are so affordable compared to other places I looked at. I fell in love with Skin Glo Studio!! I moved to the neighborhood earlier this year and this place has been a lifesaver. I've come twice to get the 90 minutes customized massage by Jennifer. First of all, I am pregnant and need extra care on my lower back since I never knew how much your body does change when carrying around a little one. Jennifer immediately worked her magic and started working on those nasty knots I had built up. By the time I left, I felt like my old self again. The moment I feel any uneasiness I immediately book my massage with her. She has now been my go to masseuse and gives me great stretching techniques to use. tl;dr Michelle (owner-esthetician) changed my life - was considering invasive procedures - consistent quality facials improved my appearance and self-esteem New Year's Eve resolution this year was to get monthly facials for an entire year before considering something more drastic like a face lift. I was feeling old - jowls and wrinkles were starting to be more prominent. I was feeling really insecure about my appearance but didn't want to go under the knife either because - well it's my face. I don't want to look weird either. I decided that I needed to try some self care first. Not only practicing self love and not being so hard on myself, but indulging in a monthly facial. I used to pamper myself quite frequently, but got out of the habit - especially during my kids' teenage years where I tended to spend my extra money on them instead. Now with the kids out of the house, I have free time and extra money. I chose Skin Glo because I had sent both my kids there at various times for help with their acne both experiencing positive results and learning how to take care of their unique skin care needs. I signed up for the monthly membership and except for the shut down during the pandemic I have gotten a facial + dermaplane every month this year. What a difference in my skin!!! Jowls have reduced, wrinkles diminished - I really feel good about my appearance! Life changing. The studio itself is absolutely adorable - a smaller, locally owned company the decor is spa-appropriate and tasteful. There are variety of other services there that I have not tried yet, but hear and see great reviews on. The studio has multiple estheticians and massage therapists available to book with. Michelle is professional, courteous, conscientious of time and very personable. I think the improvement in my skin is just as much from her massage and stimulating techniques as the products she uses. If I want to chat - she is chatty with me. If I want to snooze and relax, Michelle is very intuitive and I feel the session changes to reflect that as well. I am so thankful for Michelle and highly recommend SkinGlo Studio. I have gone twice to Skin Glo for a massage with Olena Barnes. Generally I need deep tissue massage. Olena provides homework and recommendations to help keep you relaxed between sessions that work. She uses cupping, hot stones and towels to loosen muscles and release toxins. Very thorough massage and would recommend going to Skin Glo and requesting Olena. read more

I love the fact that she uses many different techniques such as heat, stretching, cupping, shiatsu, deep tissue in creative combinations to achieve the desired result. I was pretty out of wack. I was recommended Olena for my 2hour deep tissue massage. Olena honest was the only Therapist I ever had that showed,cared and focused on problem areas. She showed me the acupressure mat and neck pillow as the start of treatment..I actually order both right after treatment. Olena was not concerned about the exact 2 hour limit window. I wanted to really like this place since it is so close to my new home but unfortunately the services did not measure up. My appointment was for the Skin Glo facial with microdermabrasion. The whole appointment lasted less then 45 minutes and the microdermabrasion was about 2 minutes of that (typically cost $30 to add on... for 2 minutes). I have received facials at many different places including microdermabrasion and feel Skin Glo was much less thorough. Three stars given because the staff and facilities were nice but I will not be back. UPDATE: I just recently had a facial with Michelle and loved it! I thought she was very knowledgeable and my facial was customized for my skin needs. I am prone to breakouts and Michelle took time to answer all my questions. She even followed up the next day to see how my skin was doing. I did blue light therapy at the end of my facial which I have not done before me but loved! I thought it really helped calm down my skin even with just one session. I am glad I went back for another try and will be returning in the future. read more

Got the best massage of my life with Olena. She used hot stones and applies really firm pressure, which makes for a great deep tissue massage. I believe it was a 90 minute massage and was worth every penny--deff pot for this over the 60 min option. The only con is she talks the entire time but I'm sure you could speak up to let her know if this bothers you. Overall the dis had a great atmosphere--really warm and relaxing. read more

Skin Glo studio provides a warm and welcoming atmosphere; you feel at home the moment you step through the door. I'm always greeted with a big smile. I've had many massages with Olena and am constantly amazed at her talent, her ability to relax me, and her incredible skills. The last time I was there she put oil on my forehead and gave me a gentle hot rock massage. It was THE MOST RELAXING THING EVER and I've asked her if we can both start and end all of my massages with her amazing technique. It may seem strange to get a hot rock massage on your forehead, but believe me, it helps put you in a state of relaxation that you can't even imagine. I highly recommend Skin Glo studios. I was greeted by a super friendly woman, and enjoyed a yummy mimosa while I waited (not long at all!) They have a membership and packages available, but they were NOT pushy at all for anything or their products which I SO greatly appreciated! My mom and I both booked facials with dermaplane. I've been wanting to check this place out for a long time since it's so close to me. Finally did, and so pleased with the services! My mom had Michelle and absolutely enjoyed her time with her and said she will go back again to see Michelle. I had Annie and she was amazing. She talked when appropriate and was quiet when I needed to relax, she could sense how the facial needed to go and it flowed well. She did a fantastic job with extractions and her shoulder massage during my enzyme treatment was fantastic! She isn't a massage therapist but I wouldn't have known! I will absolutely go back to have Annie take care of my face again. Skin Glo sells many facial products including my personal favorite, Skin Script. Nice to know I can pop in there when I need more product. The business is clean and cute and the prices are competitive with other local day spas. We will definitely be coming back. read more

Most obnoxious experience ever with an eyelash place. I've never had a place victim blame or gas light so much. I go for a first appointment. The lashes fall right off. I text them the next time about it. The owner actually asks the lash girl (Destinee) if she wants to try to make it up. Who does that right? Like it's my fault? She agrees to try again. Does a decent job I guess. I try to book another appointment online. Then I call to see if they have an opening for that day. No biggie right? Do you have an opening? If not, I'll keep my original appointment. No...because they are drama and unprofessional, I get a text from the girl saying they got the wrong lashes and she'll let me know when they come in to see about booking me. Confusing right? Because now I'm not sure if I still have an appointment or not and it's now colsed for the weekend. Meanwhile, my lashes are half gone. I leave a voicemail saying how confused I am because I'm now not sure if I have an appointment or have to wait all week on a text and hope she remembers? So, I get a text from the owner saying my appointment is cancelled and try somewhere else. LOL How professional. I text her saying no worries and that I'll just leave a review. She calls right away to...get this...BLAME ME and say she doesn't know how to make me happy like I am a problem customer. Over a call trying to figure out of I still have an appointment because they are messy and unprofessional and never confirmed my appointment. So, I have to basically listen to her gaslight me and imply I'm some horrible person that she has tried SO HARD to work with. Meanwhile, I've been nothing but nice until I left a voicemail confused about why I would have to wait all week for a text to know if I have an appointment at all.What drama. I can't remember the last time I have been traeted so poorly as a customer. And let me just say that they have been flaky in general, this was just the first time I had brought it up. DO NOT GO HERE! The owner is super weird and slightly crazy and blames customers for their mistakes and their lashes are sub par anways. Like 15 lashes fell out in the 1st 48 hours.
