Azure is one of those rare people who is just as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside. She made me feel completely comfortable from the moment I walked in, took the time to assess my skin, and explained everything she was doing throughout the treatment. My skin looks brilliant, radiant, refreshed, and healthier than it has in a long time (early 40s takes its toll!) One of the biggest wins was that she was able to remove a ton of stubborn blackheads that had been bothering me, and my skin feels so much smoother because of it. She also gave me thoughtful, personalized recommendations for my skincare routine going forward without ever making me feel pressured to buy products. The space itself is clean, modern, calming, and with a beautiful view overlooking Balboa Park, which made the entire experience feel even more relaxing. If you're looking for an esthetician who is knowledgeable, genuinely caring, and delivers amazing results, I highly recommend booking with Azure. I'll absolutely be back and will be recommending her to my friends and family!

Even though I was with her for only a hot minute, LOVED the girl bestie vibes! 10/10 would recommend +1 additional point for making my mean mustache go away lol Then to my front desk baddies Jordan and Lily.. ahhh to be the youthful fresh faces of EWC. I told them I've been with EWC since I was 17 and here I am an auntie at 38 lol. I poured these pretty babies some fresh tea if wisdom so they can be wealthy one day and level up. Being almost eight months pregnant, getting a Brazilian required extra care and patience, as I needed to take a few breaks due to discomfort/pain. Ann was very understanding and accommodating, which made a significant difference. She also made the experience much less painful than expected. Her technique is smooth, precise, and clearly demonstrates her expertise. It's evident that she takes pride in her work and knows exactly what she's doing. In addition to her professionalism, Ann has a warm and welcoming demeanor that makes you feel comfortable right away. I was so impressed that I went ahead and booked my next two appointments with her before my due date. As someone new to San Diego, I can confidently say I've found my go-to wax specialist.

This review is LONG overdue…read more I had an amazing first time with Miss Kelly mid 2024. Before Miss Kelly's Brazil Appeal Waxing, I had been to several other salons. I had been going to one of these salons for at least 3 years. Her suite is currently located in the plaza across H-Mart and 24 Hour Fitness off of Balboa Ave in a secured building on the second floor. Her suite is cozy for Miss Kelly, her client, and the equipment she needs. I highly recommend Ms. Kelly and her services - both to those who are sensitive to pain, and even the "veterans" who have learned to "tough it out." Before booking, please take the time to read her website. You will notice that her pricing is higher than the regular waxing/sugaring establishments. This is because she takes her time prepping you and doing the wax itself, which is also why your appointment will be longer (this varies, of course). This is why the pain level is much more tolerable, and makes the price worth it. It has been a while since my first appointment with Ms. Kelly, but I have returned several times since. I unfortunately had to pause my appointments with her, but await the day that I can resume my appointments. Ms. Kelly is a gem and I CANNOT recommend her enough!

This was my very first time getting a Brazilian wax, so naturally, I felt uncomfortable, insecure, and super vulnerable having to expose myself down there. But Fabiola made the whole experience so much better. She reassured me that there was absolutely no judgment and nothing to feel embarrassed or ashamed about, which immediately helped me feel more comfortable. I'm not going to lie, it definitely hurt the first time, but it was bearable because she talked me through everything and kept me distracted from the pain. And she was right, it really does get easier with every session! I'm also a pretty shy person and not the best at socializing, but Fabiola somehow knows how to get you talking and feeling comfortable with her. That makes such a huge difference, especially when you're already nervous about the service. I definitely want to try some of their other services in the future, but for now, I can say this is such a great place for first-timers. If you've been wanting to get a Brazilian but feel nervous, shy, or embarrassed about it, I highly recommend coming here and seeing Fabiola!

I left my house thinking I'd be 10 mins early but, realized my mistake so I called and spoke to the receptionist who told me that I may only have time for one of the two services I booked. She told me to ask Nicole when I got there if she could do my brow wax in addition to my Brazilian so I did and Nicole said no and that she would not have time. She told me to get undressed, I told her I'm fast yet, she took what seemed to be 3-5 mins to come back in. The Brazilian went smoothly, I don't need extra care, and I don't make small talk. I went out to pay and no one was in the lobby waiting. The receptionist bumped my appt from 10:40 to 11:00. Nicole was done and I had paid at 11:03. I sat in my car and handled a few things to see if anyone came in the front doors. Not one client walked in. I left at 11:15. Nicole had PLENTY of time to do my brows. PLENTY. She was just being petty. To top it off, she had the nerve to get offended and drop an attitude on me when I didn't tip here. Was she actually surprised? Unbelievable. There are WAY too many choices for waxing here in San Diego for one of your employees to act like that. As a side note: the woman who answered my call at 10:36 when I was on the road to the store was very kind.
