During my appointment on Tuesday, April 28 at 10 am in Flower Mound, I encountered a technician who was not only unprofessional but refused to verify the medication she was injecting into my body. I will NOT be returning. Upon entering, she complained about the cleanliness of the room, which felt like an inappropriate critique of her colleagues in front of a patient. When she asked which shot I was receiving, I took a moment to check my records. She appeared frustrated and abruptly left the room. When she returned with a pre-filled syringe, she did not verify the medication name with me. When I tried to confirm that it was the "Skinny Shot" and asked for the specific name of the medication, she interrupted me and refused to answer, repeatedly asking only "right or left?" for the injection site. Because she refused to communicate or confirm what was in the syringe, I left feeling unsure if the medication was even administered correctly. I have canceled all future appointments. I expect a basic level of professional courtesy and transparency regarding the treatments I am paying for, neither of which were provided here.

So I booked my first appointment with Maggie and walked in to the appointment slightly nervous. I've had a bunch of Brazilian waxes over the last couple years but for some reason still was feeling nervous! The first impression of the place was a smallish hole in the wall place but it opened up to a much larger set of rooms with many waxers. The front desk girl greeted me and I was seen quickly by Maggie. Maggie is an absolute gem! Very very nice and welcoming lady who truly seems to enjoy her work. When updating my health history I revealed my cancer and was told i could not have ANY treatment until 6 months cancer free. All I wanted was a FACIAL! No lasers, no injections. It was a day for me to relax prior to my stressful procedure. Ridiculous. I get there may be some things you shouldnt do while undergoing cancer treatments but a facial is NOT one of them. I did call my oncology office to confirm the safety of this and was told it would be NO problem. So my advice to you is to avoid this place or LIE about your cancer history.
