Do not start bombarding people two months before! When I called to discuss the pricing and the guerrilla messaging, I was met with confusion, disconnect and overall poor communication skills. I was given the run around ad nauseam. Other competitors in the same area had better initial prices, and my inquiry was logical. Just answer the question- do you price match? Otherwise, I will take my business elsewhere. Inflexibility at the onset is not a good sign. I cannot even remember all the minutiae and circular conversations I had with inept employees, who basically seem to rely on AI to do their job for them. Zero follow through. The proverbial "final straw" was a "dropped" phone call. In fact, the "provider" I had been calmly and methodically speaking with two minutes before was "busy." She never called back. Drama weeks BEFORE my appointment just because I asked a question and also asked that they stop their incessant texts and emails with conflicting information. More drama trying to get a refund. I never stepped foot in this place. If it was stressful booking and asking a question, I cannot imagine being in that actual office. Clearly, poor management and inept employees who do not listen, read or follow through. These are not the kind of people I want injecting a toxin into my face! So, you got your "feedback." I went to Miliv on September 17 and received a service that day. The person who performed the service was pleasant and professional. At that time, I initially intended to move forward with SIX additional services scheduled for later. I actually went home to get my credit card because I was prepared to move forward. However, after I left, I had difficulty getting anyone to respond. I contacted them on September 17 and received no response for TWO DAYS. I was given excuses, including being told that the representative's son was sick. Then I was told that she did not handle refunds and that I needed to go through an email. What is interesting is that when Miliv wanted my business and wanted to schedule another appointment, they had no problem reaching me. When I was trying to get answers about my money, suddenly getting a response became difficult. They even contacted me to schedule another appointment, and I explained that I had already been trying to reach them for days. I was then told they were sorry. During that same period, I realized I was not seeing the results I had hoped to see from the September 17 service. Between the lack of results and the lack of responsiveness, I decided NOT to move forward with the six additional services. That is when the situation became even more concerning. I was told that I CANNOT BACK OUT and that Miliv has signs everywhere stating customers cannot cancel. I was there ONE DAY. I did not see signs everywhere--or any sign telling me that I was agreeing to an irrevocable purchase. More importantly, I WAS GIVEN NO PAPERWORK. No contract. No receipt. No written cancellation policy. Nothing for me to review or sign stating that I could not cancel. Had I been presented with a written term before purchasing that said I could not cancel, I absolutely would have made a different decision about proceeding. But it is not my responsibility to search a business for signs containing terms I am supposedly bound by, particularly when I was never given a document containing those terms and never signed anything agreeing to them. And let's be clear: THE SIX ADDITIONAL SERVICES WERE NEVER PERFORMED. They were future services scheduled for October. I told Miliv BEFORE those services occurred that I no longer wanted to proceed. I am not disputing the service I received on September 17. I am disputing being charged for six future services that were never performed. The transaction was financed through Sunbit. Sunbit is already aware of the dispute, and I have also reported my experience with Miliv's handling of this matter to them. What has been most disappointing is the way Miliv handled a simple customer-service issue. I expected a professional business to communicate with me, explain its position and provide documentation supporting it. Instead, I experienced dismissiveness, excuses and combative behavior. The person I dealt with regarding this issue was not the "nice and friendly" person I was later told was in charge. My experience was the opposite: dismissive, rude and combative. I am now waiting for Sunbit to assist with resolving the dispute. I am sharing this experience because consumers deserve to know what they are walking into before giving this business their money or allowing a financing account to be established in their name. DO NOT TRUST VERBAL REPRESENTATIONS. GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING BEFORE YOU PAY. If a business expects you to be bound by a cancellation policy, make sure you actually receive that policy and have an opportunity to review it BEFORE you purchase.
