(Note for first-timers: the Cryo Facelift is strictly the treatment and not a 'facial'). I did try the Anti-Aging Facial, but was a bit underwhelmed. Too much time just laying on the table waiting for a mask to dry when I could've been receiving a hand massage, scalp, massage, etc. Not nearly enough facial and neck massage. The facility is bright, modern, and clean. The staff is very friendly. They offer some well priced introductory offers. One thing I really appreciate, is that they do not push retail products on you after your service. I'm looking forward to the 4-day Fat Flush!

If you are reading this review and are experiencing pain, I would highly suggest that you schedule…read morean appointment with Rita Olufowoshe. I often take the wait it out approach allowing time for the body to fix itself. The wait it out approach has worked for me at times; however, under the circumstances I am about to share, I greatly benefitted from the care and knowledge of Rita. I started noticing slight pain in my right arm over the summer. I just ignored it, hoping it would go away. The pain continued to get worse until it was extreme. An orthopedic surgeon suspected herniated discs. A review of the MRI confirmed his diagnosis. With this confirmation, I asked the doctor for an action plan. He gave me a handout of stretch exercises along with the following options: have spine surgery with a two or three-week recovery period, try pain management therapy, which would be given as an injection, or to live with it. None of these options seemed ideal. He prescribed five medicines that came from a compounding pharmacy. Of course, the medicine had side effects. I tried taking some of the medication but stopped. Then I tried a regimen of ibuprofen and acetaminophen, but because of side effects discontinued. A friend suggested that I make an appointment with Rita. I was apprehensive, thinking it might relax me but not help my arm. My friend said to try it as an experiment. At this point, I felt that I would not be able to return to my teaching job in the fall. Thankfully, I did schedule an appointment. After my first session, I did not experience immediate relief from my symptoms but felt like the massage was beneficial for my body. I continued with fourteen weekly appointments. Each week my pain lessened in one area and then would become noticeable in another part of my body. While this is a massage, it seems like more. Instead of just relaxing the body, Rita works with the body to find the source of the discomfort. I am happy to say that I do not experience any pain in my right arm and hand now and have a full range of motion. Occasionally, I feel a little numbness in two fingers, but it is mild and seems to come and go. I am grateful to have found Rita and to have escaped surgery, shots, medicine, and pain. I encourage you to seek her help if you are trying to get better. If you have no pain issues, I suggest you treat yourself. Rita creates a relaxing and nurturing environment much nicer than I have experienced elsewhere.

This is the Houston location for Austin-based Ann Webb Skin Clinic. I found them through Groupon…read moreand purchased a three-IPL-facial package for a reasonable price. Looking through their website, the regular pricing is competitively priced with others in the area, with many options to allow you to develop package that meets both your skin care needs, as well as your budget. My facialist was Liz, who is a young, pleasant, and knowledgeable esthetician. She was excellent and gave me one of the most relaxing but efficient facials I have ever had. I really appreciated that she walked through each step and let me know what she was going to do. Even when it came time for the lazer, she gave me proper information to prepare me for whats to come, so I was equipped and manged my expectations. I highly highly recommend Liz! They use all Ann Webb products at this facility, and although I had never heard of her before, the products used on me during the facial proved to be very effective. I had lots of dry flaky skin and dark spots from both sun and previous acne, but the next day, I saw a significant improvement in my skin. They have SO MANY products to choose from, and its clear to me that the facial experts know exactly what "potion" to concoct during the session that will be most effective. I was so impressed by the texture of my skin after the first session. My only gripe about this place is that the clinic itself is in an older building. The building is very outdated and a bit off-putting. However when you step into the Ann Webb clinic, you can see they have made an active effort to keep their own suite updated and modern. The clinic is a bit small, but I was never uncomfortable. I wasn't excited to lie down and look up at the old dingy lights above (with what appears to be mildew stains), but that's no fault of Ann Webb clinic, just an old building that needs updating. Despite that minor complaint, I highly recommend everyone try the Ann Webb Skin Clinic for their facials. Request Liz, and you're in for an hour of relaxation and rejuvenation. She's so sweet and so knowledgeable, and my skin has never felt happier!
