Absolutely amazing shop, my girlfriend absolutely loves it due to the huge range of Girls items…read morethat don't seem to get stocked in great quantity or quality elsewhere near us. It's owned by a girl called Anna who was happy to chat with us for quite some time about what to buy and how we were progressing with our snowboarding. We also met Rich who works there who seems to have the biggest passion for snowboarding I've ever seen getting excited about everything we were looking at. The amount of effort they put in to the business also seems unparalleled as when we went to visit them at the ski and snowboard show they had put up a huge scaffolding shop architecture and it felt like they had wheeled there whole shop to Earls Court. All around a very pleasurable experience.

On the face of it this shop seems great, just buy don't snowboard boots from here! I bought some…read morenike vapen's from here, the guy in the shop convinced me to go a size down from what I usually wear saying that they will be the most comfortable and I will get the most out of them, I wasn't convinced but they guy in the shop seemed so knowledgeable and passionate about the boots being the right fit and they were my first snowboarding boots, I've been wearing the boots for a few seasons now and from the start my feet would go ridiculously numb even in the shop but I was told this would pass and I just need to wear them in so I thought this might change over time then thought that my feet must just be weird! but I've just bought some new boots in my normal size and they are great more responsive and such a great fit I can wear them all day and no numb feet!!! Avoid at all costs!!!!!

I'm really disappointed at this company when it showed such good potential with reviews and prices…read more Ordered an ice axe, whose shipping was pending on an ID request email (why not incorporate this on the website when making purchases with blades, or let users create ID verified profiles to skip this (understandable but poorly executed) faff altogether? To then receiving another email now telling me that they actually no have the item in stock, so clearly their stock levels on their website are completely unreliable if it says 1 or 2 left in stock. So, they don't reserve the item aside for a reasonable time whilst waiting for the customer to provide ID (which I did within half a day). The only assumptions from this is that they either didn't have it to begin with and have unreliable stock measurements in place; or that they sold it between when I placed the order and today; or worse, they have staff stealing or doing under-the-table deals when the last item in stock goes on sale. All of which just make Absolute Snow look incompetent and unrealiable. They offered apologies and replacement, but I wanted that item specifically due to its grip, curvature, colour, and reviews. Least they could do is put the item on back-order and just ship it to me once you'd have it back in stock, I'd much prefer that than "pick something else or a refund". Fortunately, I'm not in any rush as I'm just prepping for winter and there's time, but it's really disappointing as a first impression and I'll be looking elsewhere with reliable stock levels. Honestly, not ok... (Genuine review: order number RXDD7B35) Date of experience: 21 August 2024

Diabolical Service - you really should avoid using this company. I am going to have to use VISA…read moreChargeback to get my money back and purchase elsewhere. I ordered some skis, was advised of delivery, and had a text confirming the delivery date. They didn't turn up. Two days later still no skis. Several calls with Absolute Snow and they wanted me to wait, not interested in helping me. The courier (DX Express) confirmed they had lost the item and would be advising the sender. Absolute Snow still refused to send a replacement until they had that in writing from the Courier. So I am still awaiting skis. Finally, I decided that I had given them sufficient opportunity to make things good and they had not. So my next step is to use the VISA Chargeback and obtain my money back that way. I would never use this awful company again. Read some more of the reviews - I am saying nothing new. They have form on goods not arriving, poor customer service, and reluctance to refund. My advice, spend another Tenner and go to a Company that cares and provides a Service.

Terrible experience, discriminatory staff…read more I visited the store last week to try on ski boots and was told to come back later as the trained staff were on their breaks, so I returned after a few hours and was denied entry by the security guard. Staff told me the guard had received a picture of me from a CCTV camera at another nearby store - I do not even live in London, and had arrived the previous day. They showed me the photo, and the person in it was obviously not me - this would have been easy for the guard and staff to see if they looked at it properly, but it was apparent to me that I had been profiled and was being discriminated against. None of the staff were interested in what I had to say - the store manager was less than 2 metres away from me throughout this incident, but they had their back turned the whole time, clearly not wanting to be involved. I had heard good things about this store, but I only had my time wasted, and walked out feeling humiliated and upset. I emailed customer service about this over a week ago and my complaint was forwarded to multiple managers of the business straight away. I am only writing this public review now because I am yet to receive a single further response. Unacceptable on all counts.

This is the best place in London to come for all your outdoor gear needs. Set over 4 or 5 floors…read morethere is dedicated floor space to everything you will need for sports ranging from skiing to high altitude mountaineering. For me, nowhere in London has anything like its selection. The only real downside is that all the gear is skewed towards higher end products which is fine if you want to splash the cash but means that you can leave here having spent a worrying amount of money on day glow boots or GoreTex jackets.

I first came across Snow & Rock many years ago a ski show in Earl's Court where I purchased my…read morefirst pair of ski boots from them. Since then I've returned many times for skiing related purchases. Skiing isn't a cheap shop and indeed Snow & Rock aren't a cheap ski shop so be prepared for some credit card pain when you shop here. I tend to buy my more specialist items like ski boots, skis and goggles from here as I feel quality in these areas is worth some extra money for good advice and good fitting. After all, these items tend to last me years, so it's worth getting quality which will last I've now skied long enough to know when I've getting good advice or if someone is trying to blag. The advice here is generally solid. I like their custom footbed service where they will mould the soles of your boots to fit your feet exactly. Having a pair of perfectly fitting and comfortable ski boots is vital to an enjoyable ski holiday and these are well worth the investment. Snow & Rock will also adjust boots after purchase for up to a year after purchase. As usual, hit the shop for bargains at the end of ski seasons. The clothing is expensive here and I tend to go elsewhere for less trendy but more affordable gear - I can't bear to spend that amount of money on something I've only going to wear 1 or 2 weeks a year

They had a decent selection of outdoor gear and more sports oriented gear than I expected. If you need adventuring or outdoor gear I'd come check this place out.
