We went in around 8:10 pm this evening to find clothes for my husband for his Uncle's visitation and funeral tomorrow and Saturday. We are renovating and his nice clothes are temporarily in storage, so he needed something to wear. We made some selections and walked around trying to find a dressing room. We found an associate, a Hispanic male, that assisted us. At first he explained at and after 8:30 pm the dressing rooms close. There it was, a handwritten sign about the dressing room closure. We explained the clothes were for a funeral and he just needed about five minutes. He nodded and pushed the barrier aside. We thanked him and assured him we would be quick. Shortly after my husband started trying on clothes, I heard another associate, which I assume to be a manager, questioning why he would allow people into dressing rooms at 8:30 pm, reminded him of the policy, etc. I could tell she was giving him a hard time despite the fact he tried explaining the circumstances of our situation. I genuinely hope he did not get into trouble. I do not typically ask anyone to bend or break rules, however, since Covid it seems new policies and rules, adjusted store hours, on and on, pop up daily everywhere you go. It is getting tougher to be a loyal consumer. I say this because it was the thoughtfulness of the associate that stood out to us today. We were already having a tough day with a death in the family, and the Kohl's associate helping out my husband like he did showed me there are still people out there willing to go the extra mile in the name of customer service. To that associate, thank you for remembering today the two people you helped were people, not just another couple of nameless, faceless customers walking through the door. You made a positive impact on our day! Truly, thank you!

Big sale on name brand handbags which is right up MY alley lol and I purchased two bags for under $200.00!!! although the dresses and clothing are outrageous even with sales I had to get a dress that is respectful for my son's funeral today. The store had such an eery feeling to it .... which I found strange unless it was built on graves from way back when. The feeling made me feel very uncomfortable so I purchased my items and hit the road. I can't say it was dirty but it wasn't clean either. I'm giving the mall an overall 2 stars but I'm going to give the 2 sales ladies 5 stars.
