I remember when this mall was being built as I'm sure many people do. I went to Dillards yesterday for a funeral dress & shoes which I purchased at Dillards. It was so hot in the store that I was sweating bullets and nearly fainted. The cashiers were really nice but then some don't even answer you when you say hello. SMH curtesy is free so I don't. know why people are so sh*tty to one another... anyway, I wanted to say the sales lady who approached me when I walked in was very accommodating and the sales lady in shoes was also accommodating and both were very sweet and very nice. Big sale on name brand handbags which is right up MY alley lol and I purchased two bags for under $200.00!!! although the dresses and clothing are outrageous even with sales I had to get a dress that is respectful for my son's funeral today. The store had such an eery feeling to it .... which I found strange unless it was built on graves from way back when. The feeling made me feel very uncomfortable so I purchased my items and hit the road. I can't say it was dirty but it wasn't clean either. I'm giving the mall an overall 2 stars but I'm going to give the 2 sales ladies 5 stars. read more

There are still quite a few stores and the people are wonderful in every shop we went to. Furniture Mall and Petland are always so helpful! Cafe's Barnabas has the best chi tea I have ever had, and the bubble drinks are amazing! You absolutely can not go to the mall without going to Cafe' Barnabas! read more

We were at Westridge Mall a couple of days ago for GNC and Lenscrafters, so we decide to try La Rocca's. We sat at the tables right in their area, and it was much more private than sitting in the food court area which is also farther away, of course. One thing about the tables right at La Rocca's: the chairs are pretty old and wobbly. If you weigh as much as I do, this means the chairs are not all that safe to sit in ! We took home a large veggie pizza, and it was fantastic, to say the least. We will definitely go back again in the future. read more

The mall is empty. There just aren't any stores there. The Dillard's has some of the creepiest items there. It's like a freak show. The place is dirty and the employees are not conversational. Many stores like Macy's, Sears, JC Penny's, and Nordstrom are missing. The place is always dead and the food court is missing popular restaurants. All the popular ones they have are fast food chains. Every thing a else is just local and frankly disappointing. read more

This has a nice selection of clothing stores for the younger generation. It's an average nothing that really sticks out. I've walked in and out of this mall more times without something than with. Maybe I'm just picky though. I think it is because a lot of the stores as said before are for the younger generation. My favorite thing they have there that my mall no longer has is a kitchen gadget store.!!! read more

It used to be so much better. They used to have the entire building full of stores but the rent has gone up so much that even the big stores are leaving! The food court still has somme good places and thank goodness they still have some of the fun stores left. I hope that it doesn't lose any more! read more

Its a rushy mall specially on occasions and national holidays such Halloween. I was here with my family on Halloween. It was well decorated and the decoration was quiet eye catchy. This mall has every facility of all Brands such as clothing, food, women's and men's accessories and one should visit it if one does not want to miss out these brands. Apart from these facilities the sitting arrangment was not up to the mark. read more

I am not sure who exactly he is but there apparently is a particular mall employee at Westridge Mall that seems to have a problem with me coming out there to shop!! He's an older man somewhat heavy set and walks with a gimp in his right leg. Brown hair, long in back, short in front, parted in the middle and a moustache. I don't know who this guy is but every time he sees me he shakes his head like he's disgusted to see me out there!! Today he started saying stuff about me under his breath!! If he keeps it up I will take legal action against him!! And if appropriate the mall as well!!!! read more

First time me and my daughters came here as we were on vacation. It was on a Thursday like around 2pm. It was nicely decorated with Christmas spirit. The mall was quiet and not too many people around. My daughters loved it as they only care to shop at Claire's and Justice. The store itself had great selection to choose from that would make a kid happy. Afterwards we ate at Pizza Pub. The pizza was very delicious. read more

During our drive from Texas to Nebraska we decided to stop here for dinner and to let the kids burn some energy. It was on a weekday night and it was freezing (to us Californians at least) so there weren't a lot of people. We ate Chick-Fil-A and then let the kids play at the play area which seemed clean. read more

I love going here, but sadly, most of my favorite places have either closed or downsized. Only Hot Topic truly stands that I have consistently visited since I was younger, and even it has lost all music selection barring a short display with a couple CDs and some records. It still looks nice and I enjoy stopping by, but I miss how much there used to be to do. I hope malls make a resurgence one day, because they're a place dear to me. read more

This is the closest mall to Emporia, and this was my first and last time attending. I will drive up to Kansas City to shop before I come back here. The fact that I was harassed by a mall cop about my clothing and told to leave if I didn't change, really solidified that this mall is not worth it. And the fact that it was as soon as I walked in the door set the mood for the rest of my shopping. If there is a dress code, it needs to be posted to save people from harassment like I experienced. If there isn't then you definitely have a problem on your hands, and you're driving people away. I will NOT be returning if this isn't addressed. read more

The hairstylist that I usually go to no longer works for JC Penney salon. So I went to Debbie, I showed her a picture of what I wanted (shoulder length with very minimal layering, as I told her I usually curl my hair). She looked at the picture a few times. When shes done I felt that I had a mullet. She asked if I wanted a blowdry and I said no as I just wanted to go home and see what happens if I did my usual curling. I gave it 24 hours coz I thought maybe I will like it after that. Debbie gave me a mullet!!! Went back to the salon to show the manager the picture and what Debbie did to my hair and she offered me a refund as there is nothing to fix coz I do not have much hair left. Then I asked the manager how much does a hairstylist like Debbie charge just for a hairstyle and was told it is $35, I informed the manager that Debbie charged me $45 (I have the receipt that I showed the manager). $45 is the charge for a haircut and a blowdry. It is very frustrating that not only she murdered my hair but she also tried to rip me off. Beware of Debbie. read more
