This is the nicest flea market I've ever been to, and I've been to many. The booths are jam packed full of stuff, and you can find all sorts of cool modern and antique stuff. The vendors usually know what they have, but you can always find a great value on something, and often you can find a diamond in the rough. Just remember when you go in here that most of the people behind the counter are VOLUNTEERS. If you have a legitimate complaint, just ask for the person who actually does work there. I'm very impressed with the Owls Nest, Joyland location (Adams). Many great vendors to choose from, clean, well maintained store, and friendly staff. I'm always amazed that negative reviews are given to businesses, when positive reviews are lost in the shuffle. It seems we are quick to complain, but not to compliment businesses. Check out the other Owls Nest on 29th street! They also have great staff ready to help you. It is smaller than the other Owls Nest but it is packed with great stuff! Both stores have a punch card promotion. Spend $15 for a punch on a card and when it is full, you can enter for a monthly drawing for a $100 gift certificate. read more

Not at all what I was expecting from a "flea market". The store consists of dozens of separate vendors, so there's quite a variety of different items, many of them seem to be locally made. Will definitely be coming back to see what else I can find. read more
