I do an opinion writing project with my 5th grade class every year about entomophagy (eating insects) and I rely on the Toy Store for the boxes of flavored crickets and larvae I offer to the brave kids who choose to try them. We've been coming here for a long time and my 16 year old and 2.5 year old still find fun things they want at every visit. We love the Toy Store! That said, this is an excellent place to find vases and decor. Clothing will be useful but not high end and in good quantity. They do both the color-tag weekly sales along with seasonal promotions for holidays or at the end of seasons. For example, the week after Valentines day all Valentines decor was half off, as were a number of red decor items and scarves were buy one get one half off.

I bought some lovely things to decorate my new home here in Topeka as well as materials for tutoring reading, art supplies as a reward for work well done, two Bibles - one for research and one to take to church - and Spanish materials for my own use.
