I am usually very frugal...and, frankly, not a shopper at all. Even more so, I don't really like…read moreshopping, especially in fancy, chain stores. But, Parts Unknown Santa Fe has a really special place in my heart. The store is very well curated with lots of Southwestern fashion flairs, and their items are very much very attractive. Items ate not cheap, but if youncompared the store to many other fancy retsil stores on Santa Fe or big metro areas, Parts Unknown actually offers quite reasonable prices. Staff had always been friendly and helpful. I always spent more time than I should looking around and finding something that caught my eyes. I ended up buying a few jackets/tops a few times out of whim now, which weren't something I typically did. Really loved the products they carried. Whenever I am in Santa Fe, I always found myself stopping by this shop almost every time these days! Note: street parking is a little difficult to find, especially when it is so close to the main plaza. But if you go during non peak hours on weekdays, you may be able to find a spot after circling around a block a couple of times.

So when I shop, there is one of many places can stand on exclusively Parts Unknown. It could be more than average range. Hey if I compared to a bolo tie $ 1700 in Boulder, Colorad, this shop in Santa Fe is much reasonable price. ( I didn't end up buying a Bolo Tie in Boulder, hell NO! ). Boots, boots, boots! Charming western attire. 100 out of 100

Goler Fine Imported Shoes - I ended up getting the pair on the left. Imported from Spain with a chunky heel, they're as comfortable as any pair of flats I own.

I've never considered myself a "shoe person" or someone that's about fashion or shopper, as such…read more That said, I like wearing outfits, feeling put together and not looking like everyone else. On my first trip to Santa Fe, arrived to our hotel on The Plaza after most everything had closed, which happens on roadtrips. So, we got some wine, walked around the empty streets and did some window shopping. When I saw these sandals with big bows on the toes, we had our first place on our list to explore the following day. And, that began a love affair. I now have at least one pair of shoes from here for every visit I've made back to Santa Fe, sometimes two. It's a small store, as with most boutiques. The prices aren't cheap but neither is the quality of their selection. I guess, now, I'm a shoe person... as far as the service that's been mentioned in other reviews, I've never had a problem and enjoyed a couple laughs with them on every visit. I strongly recommend signing up for their program. They're great with outreach on sales and new collections via text; plus, the points have no expiration.

I wish I could give this place zero stars. They have gone completely downhill. Thirteen years ago, my husband and I flew out to Santa Fe with one of our goals being getting him a custom pair of boots from Back at the Ranch. We had a delightful experience with Ann and a lovely pair of boots arrived by mail several weeks later. He wore them nonstop for a decade, taking care to regularly get them resoled by expert cobblers. After ten years, they were done. So we flew back out to Santa Fe and went back to Ann after breakfast at Pasqual's because we're no fools. We had a nice experience designing the boots and fitting my husband. The price was higher, but what can you do? Many weeks later, the boots arrived at our home in Virginia. They were a travesty. The craftsmanship was a crime and the fit was ... well, he literally couldn't get his foot back in one of the boots. The boots were also two drastically different sizes - visible to the eye out of the box. I reached out to Ann and, long story slightly shorter, they tried to adjust the boots twice and eventually had to remake them. The whole process took months upon months. A year later, the boots needed be resoled so we sent in pictures and asked to start the process. Direct quote: "unfortunately we cannot re-sole those for you as the leather around the foot is so soft and worn it would rip at this point." One year. 1500$ custom boots. We expected better from a) our previous experience, b) the craftsmanship BATR builds its brand on, and c) a 1500 pair of boots after one measly year. Guess we're going to Austin this time.
