I've never considered myself a "shoe person" or someone that's about fashion or shopper, as such. That said, I like wearing outfits, feeling put together and not looking like everyone else. On my first trip to Santa Fe, arrived to our hotel on The Plaza after most everything had closed, which happens on roadtrips. So, we got some wine, walked around the empty streets and did some window shopping. When I saw these sandals with big bows on the toes, we had our first place on our list to explore the following day. And, that began a love affair. I now have at least one pair of shoes from here for every visit I've made back to Santa Fe, sometimes two. It's a small store, as with most boutiques. The prices aren't cheap but neither is the quality of their selection. I guess, now, I'm a shoe person... as far as the service that's been mentioned in other reviews, I've never had a problem and enjoyed a couple laughs with them on every visit. I strongly recommend signing up for their program. They're great with outreach on sales and new collections via text; plus, the points have no expiration. read more

Love this store. Each time we go in, my husband finds something fun to buy, a shirt, boots, a vest, etc. Last year, he loved the boots so much, we bought them for our 30-year old sons as holiday gifts. Today, we brought our LA son in, and he picked out a sweater/jacket and shirt. The selection is fabulous though the store is small. And the team at Goler is great -- helpful and friendly! read more

There is no Nordstroms, no Lord & Taylor and not even a Macy's in Santa Fe- but you don't need them with Goler Fine Imported Shoes in town. High end everything and they know how to show it off. Their show floor is always cute and well designed- they know what will sell and you can't resist it when you step into the store. My downfall was when I saw the adorable Sam Edelman shoes the shop girl was wearing- I crassly requested to try the same model on; bought them and yes, wore them out of the store- they were that cute. They know what they are doing and I love it. read more

Went the day after Black Friday... you know "shop local". I'm local. I live here. Yep... no shoes for me. Nope. Nada. I want a pair of Tom's. tried on one pair ... to small... next size up... no next size up. No stock. My dear partner looked for some shoes... no shoes for her too. To bad. Sales lady could have asked if I would like to order some. Sales lady asked me to come to back room where the men's shoes lived. I picked up my crutches and picked my way to the back room. This was were men's shoes lived. I could have stayed in the front were there was seating. But not this was not were she needed me to be. No Toms for me. So much for local shopping. Sad Saturday. Guess I'll try some online shoe store. Will they have next size up? Bet they do... Lesson: Why go to Goler? read more

Goler is a great small shoe store with a really nice selection of shoes for many activities. The owner is very involved in the community and has a magnificent sense of style. Go here for shoes in Santa Fe but also for sunglasses and some fun articles of clothing. The sales staff is super helpful every time I enter. So grateful I can shop local and look cool. read more

Fine imported....my behind! In the first place, they NEVER have my size. They are a least 1 or 2 seasons behind. If you don,t mind digging for your size in the front of the store....no problem because no customer service is available. In the back of the store you can finally get some help. FYI they do have some nice looking shoes but the selection of sizes sucks! read more

Recently visited Santa Fe and had a great experience at Goler. Paula was very helpful. I have narrow feet and it's difficult finding shoes that fit. She worked with me for quite awhile, not only finding a few narrow pairs but also putting inserts in some of the shoes in the right places. My experience with shoe stores (especially the dept. store variety - even the pricey ones) is that I get very little help and attention. Paula was an exception to the rule. I bought 4 pairs :-). I also bought some clothes and she helped put the outfit together. Great experience, great quality. Looking forward to a return trip! read more

Nice well laid out and stocked store by the Plaza in Santa Fe, friendly service, great selection of higher end shoes with decent prices make this place a winner. Sure you could save some money by ordering direct from the manufacturer (in this case TOM's) but then you miss out on the fun of the ambience. read more

I've shopped in this store off and on for years, no problem. Today they had a sale which required them to stack shoe boxes along the aisles. It appeared to be self serve as several women were helping themselves to finding their size and trying on with no assistance from the employees. I was moving an opened box another woman had left splayed across the stacks and was approached by a young man who said, "Let me help you before you knock the shoes over onto yourself or someone else." I have no idea why I was singled out as a possible hazard. I left the store and found my shoes elsewhere. read more

Needed a groovy pair of boots that I could step into and wear right off the shelf for a fun vacation. There were numerous pairs that would have worked and the cutest girls on the planet - who work there - helped me settle on a pair that I "Lived In" for a week. Bravo, great store, great choice - thank you ladies. These boots had to be one of the most photographed items from the trip (by others) and a great conversation piece for meeting new people. You guys are fabulous. I'm also looking forward to your RayBan truck show! Oh, did I forget to mention that I got a pair of new Rayban's from Goler too??!!! I have gotten several pairs of glasses - and they continue to be my favorite. My husband and I have bought shoes at Goler in the past and the experience was ok. This past winter I was looking for a pair of Uggs so I went to Goler to look. I did find a pair I liked but the customer service was very bad. The person helping me made me feel like I could not afford them. I walked out of there went to Overlands which is also downtown and bought 2 pairs of Uggs. Overlands customer service has always been far more superior than Goler. I will probably never buy any thing at Goler again. read more

The noses of the salespeople here are too high up for them to notice customers in the store. I grew up in Santa Fe and love to support local businesses when I visit home - but it seems these people can do without business. This is my second visit in a couple years where I've been treated rudely, not been asked if I need help, or been given anything even remotely related to decent customer service. Sure, they carry decent shoes for the area, but nothing that can't be found elsewhere. Don't want to feel like a second-class human? Don't shop here. read more
