He took his own scooter, met a couple of other kids, and was having fun until one of the employees cornered him and accused him of standing in the middle of the rink so he could - I'm not making this up - stare at the employee's friend's butt. The employee asked me if my son had been using a cell phone to take a video and just wouldn't hear the answer that my son doesn't have a cell phone, making it impossible for him to have done what he was accused of doing. It ruined my son's night. While we were not asked to leave, we won't be going back under any circumstances.

My folks did most of the work with the Patel's, but any question I had or any requests we had were soundly heard and accommodated. Weddings are stressful enough, you need vendors that ease that , not add to it. The Patel's are wonderful to work with and I'd love to come back for another party in the future.

I drive up Lomas past the Garden Center all the time but I only recently read the sign and decided to look up what it was. Behind all the trees, there is a little Albuquerque gem. I looked up their website and read all about a plant sale they had going on. I got two cute little plants and was excited to see the space. The actual gardens were closed when I went but I want to go back to check them out. I would also definitely go back for another plant sale, the prices were great and they had some fun stuff to choose from. One note, the parking is terrible when they are super busy. I doubt that they are super busy too often, probably only for events and such but when it is, getting in and out is a huge pain.

Because it was early April and the gardens don't open till mid April we couldn't have the ceremony in the gardens. It turned out to be less expensive. But when it came time for taking pictures, the staff let us and some of our guests take photos in the garden. The gardens are beautiful and well maintained. They made for a beautiful backdrop for our photos. Although it was not open on the weekends, there is a garden shop that sells fun garden themed items. There is a small courtyard in the front which also makes for good pictures. What's interesting is that the building itself doesn't look that special as I would drive past it every day and wouldn't have known about it if wasn't for the sign. It's a great hidden gem in the middle of Albuquerque and was a very nice venue to have a wedding.

We got to the theater 30 minute early before the movie was supposed to start to order food, and the food took 40+ minutes which was frustrating; because we could barely see our food when eating. The seats were somewhat comfortable but towards the end they definitely started hurting both mine and my boyfriend is backs. To be fair the movie was 3 hours maybe i'm just getting old haha. Our waiter wasn't super friendly and just gave both of us weird vibes. We had asked about how to turn on the little lights on the tables connected to the seats, to one of the servers, and they shrugged their shoulders and walked away. As somebody who has been a server I just found that rude as hell. I had to ask for a refill 3 times before I actually got one. Our server came towards the end of the movie to give us the bill which was greatly appreciated, but gave my boyfriend a 100$ bill and me a 55$ bill when we're literally on the same bill... After getting that sorted out, I checked the bill and saw they charged us for two drinks. When we mentioned it at the end, a women said that we wouldn't be refunded immediately but to check on business days to make sure. It's just inconvenient I suppose. Maybe i'm being nit-picky. But personally id rather go to a restaurant, then icon because to me the experience is better. Also they require a 18% gratuity tip, and STILL have the audacity to ask for an additional tip LOL.
